Ministry of Tourism: Counter-Revolution Day
A Message to the Nations of the Galaxy:
Greetings,
The Minister of Tourism is issuing an official invitation to various heads of state to attend the events of Counter-Revolution Day in the Russian Empire, which will include a two-day historical tour of Moscow and St. Petersburg, the St. Nicholas' Day Parade, a state dinner and the Sol Fleet Review. Many delegates from various Sol states will be in attendance and it is our pleasure to, for the first time, extend a formal invitation to our galactic neighbors to attend this important celebration of the events of Earth's history.
For reasons of security and in order to make preparations for accommodations, we ask that non-Sol states wishing to attend send notification in order that we can arrange for a safe and enjoyable visit to Sol.
We ask that each party provide the following information:
Head of Party:
Number of Attendees (Incl. Servants/Assistants):
Number of Security Personnel:
Environmental Requirements outside of Sol-Earth norms:
Dietary Requirements outside of Human norms:
Special Housing Requirements:
Means of Address for Titled Members of the party:
Sol states need not apply via this form, as their attendance has been pre-arranged.
We ask that all attendees respect the traditions of the Counter-Revolution Day in Sol, as a time of celebration and joy and that they not engage in any hostilities with other attendees, regardless of any ongoing conflict in the galaxy at large. Any violence will be dealt with and those involved will be ejected from the Russian Empire.
The schedule of events is as follows, attendance to each event is optional, but space will be reserved for each attendee:
Moscow:
July 17/18:
On July 17 all citizens are given the day off, generally to participate in low-key celebrations, or to attend state feasts.
At noon a formal reception for the arrivals will be held at the Great Kremlin Palace's Georgievsky Hall.
Starting at 1:35am a ten minute silence is observed and, at 2:00 icons of the murdered members of the Imperial family are paraded through most major cities of the Russian Empire while all of the major churches toll their bells. Many Russians wear mourning clothes on this occasion, as it marks not only the death of the Imperial family, but is considered a date of remembrance for all those killed in the Civil War. Many small memorial services take place.
At noon on the 18th, a ceremony will be held to mark the interring of a soldier in the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden, next to the Kremlin walls.
July 19:
The 19th is designated a 'free' in that no particular events are scheduled. Attendees may roam Moscow at will, see the sights and so forth. Much of the Kremlin is open to the public, including the famous Cathedral of the Dormition where the Tsars are traditionally crowned, and the Armory, one of the oldest public museums in Russia. Otherwise they may rest and enjoy the many fine accouterments available in Moscow's finest hotel establishments.
July 21:
Attendees will be given a tour of Nicholas Station, where the Izmailovsky Regiment made its famous last stand against the Red Army during the Retreat from Moscow. The nearby Izmailovsky Regimental Shrine will also be visited, which marks the location of the mass grave where the regiment's members were interred by the Red Army.
Following this and a break for lunch, the tour will proceed to the Bolshoi Theater to attend the Don Cossack Choir Memorial Concert, a yearly event held by the famous group.
July 22:
The final day in Moscow will be marked by the July Parade, the largest annually held military parade in Russia. This year over 100,000 troops will be participating, including some of the oldest Lifeguard regiments, the Preobrazhensky, Semenovsky, Izmailovsky, Pavlovsky and the Chevalier Guards.

This years march-past will also be the first to feature non-human troops, the 1st Assyrian Regiment will be taking part in the Auxiliary Troops march-past.

To Her Majesty, Queen Alexandria of England,
From His High Excellency, Count Dmitry Alekseyevich Milyutin, Minister of War for the Russian Empire
Greetings,
I am pleased to present to Your Majesty an offer from my lord in regards to the July 22nd Victory Parade in Moscow. Specifically, he has requested that the British Empire dispatch a small company of troops to take part in the parade as a display of the international victory over Communism, the friendship between our two states, and international solidarity in the face of threats to civilization as we know it.
He has noted that the ordering of foreign troops will be at the head of the parade, after the march-past of Russian historical troops. Specific ordering of foreign units will be by comparative order of precedence, that is to say, the more prestigious regiments will be in front.
We would also be pleased if Your Majesty, or a representative, would attend the various ceremonies. This year His Majesty has invited a number of Galactic dignitaries and so, I am told, the festivities will be particularly grand this year.
Signed,
HHE M. Dmitry A. Milyutin

From His High Excellency, Count Dmitry Alekseyevich Milyutin, Minister of War for the Russian Empire[/i]
Greetings,
I am pleased to present to Your Majesty an offer from my lord in regards to the July 22nd Victory Parade in Moscow. The Japanese Empire, of course, held no great love of Russia in the early 20th century, but they overcame their animosity and joined hands with their Russian brothers to defeat Communism. As such, my lord has extended an offer for Japanese troops to march in the July 22nd parade.
He has noted that the ordering of foreign troops will be at the head of the parade, after the march-past of Russian historical troops. Specific ordering of foreign units will be by comparative order of precedence, that is to say, the more prestigious regiments will be in front.

A General Dispatch to Sol Nations
From His High Excellency, Baron Pyotr Meller-Zakomelskiy
My Lords and Ladies, greetings,
As you all know, a time of great celebration across the world is nearing. This month many nations celebrate the defeat of Communism, the savior of Monarchy and the glory of Earth as a shining beacon of civilization in the galaxy. This month is of particular importance in the Russian Empire, being both a time of celebration and mourning for those lost to the Communist barbarians.
My lord, Tsar Nicholas IX of Russia, hereby extends a formal invitation to all the states of Sol to attend the celebratory events and will, of course, send his own representatives and, although he is unable to attend all ceremonies across the world, make an effort to be present in those of particular importance or of close relation to Russia.
It should be noted that this year non-Sol nations have been invited to formally attend and, as such, security measures have been increased somewhat from last year. We trust that you will understand this requirement. As a means of compensation for this inconvenience, I will be personally directing the events in question and, should anything cause complaint, will be present to deal directly with the issue.
I and my lord are looking forward to your attendance,
Signed,
HHE Baron Pyotr Meller-Zakomelskiy
