OOC: This RP is about what happens to the quendi armed forces stationed in Agadar after that nation became defunct. Should the player behind Agadar ever revive his nation this RP will be retconned unless otherwise agreed between me and Agadar. As such any decision I made on agadarian affairs and the collapse of the agadarian society is only vallid as long as Agadar doesn't exist.

Barun, The former Agadar
Arch-strategos Kanq, Navarch Althanas Alcedina and Princess Althea Alcedina had gathered aboard the remains of a fascist flagship in the bay of Barun. While severely damaged a relatively large amount of fascist ships from both the Second Battle of Agadaria and the Battle of the Bay of Barun was still operational and had been taken over by quendi forces in the months following the collapse of order in Agadar. This had made the Quendi naval presence in the region almost as great as before the First Fleet retreated to fight the rebels in the homeland. Along with hundreds of captured fighters the Quendi power was quite substantial.

Arch-strategos Kanq nodded to the two princes. "And you are certain you want to do this? I mean your elders might have you executed for it if they disagree with your decisions or consider the political implications to be damaging to your family's reputation. No offense but you Alcedina's tend to be quite ruthless." The officer said still not assured of the plan the three of them had devised.

"We are well aware of the risk commander." Althea said. "But both my brother and I are willing to pay the price should it come to it. We will not allow our people to struggle anymore. Here in Agadar we can try to rebuild a new and better quendi state. If the Imperial Regency Council opposes this then perhaps they are not fit to be custodians of the Mandate of Heaven." Althanas nodded. His sister had been in contact with the high justiciarian who had approved of their plan. Both Althea and Althanas was staunch alesians.

Kanq nodded. Not an easy man to impress he couldn't help but feel great respect for the two princes. "Very well then. I will commence the operation at once as long as you deal with the politics." He said extending his hands towards his co-conspirators. A historic moment in many ways.

Imperial Edict

To the People of Agadar and the International Community

For many months now, since the fall and destruction of the great city of Agadaria, capital of the Democratic Empire of Agadar, the state of Agadar has been in chaos and on the path towards destruction. War has ravaged the once beautiful realm of the Bartolt emperors. Fathers, sons and husbands has died fighting against each others. And for what? The pride and lust for power of a few men. So many has died for the ambitions of men such as Martin Gimmler, Sebastian of Ordenia and Emperor Harodes of Bartolt.

But no longer. Citizens of the crumbling lands of Agadar rejoice. Today order shall be restored. Today and in the days to come a new Agadar shall rise where the old one fell. In Barun today arch-strategos Paris Kanq, prince Althanas Alcedina and princess Althea Alcedina has declared a new state to arise centered around Barun. In this state all who fought with the democrats and fascists shall be given full amnesty if they will chose to support the new nation that shall be named Greater Agadaria in honor of our fallen capital.

This nation shall bring an end to the bloodshed plaguing the remains of Agadar. Peace will be restored in all twenty seven duchies by force if neccesary. Let the whole world know that as of today a new nation has arisen and it shall bring peace, prosperity and justice to the lands of Agadar.

The Greater Barun Region
Arch-strategos Kanq knew it was going to be tough to restore order in the lands of Agadar. The Quendi forces after all controlled only about 40 % of the Province of Agadar with the vast majority of the agadarian people living in areas where the Quendi legionaires had never set foot and most likely never would. Yet the commander was confident. There was no force in all of Agadar that could match the power of the legions and with the new fleet Kanq was certain that a talented naval officer as Althanas could keep any enemy from arriving at least for a month or so. Hopefully that would be long enough for the new nation to establish itself and take control of more of the nation.

The Agadaria Province. Apart from Agadaria the provinces of Bartolt, Copernica, Carthia and the island province of Selia is accesible from the sea. I will be making an OOC thread shortly. About the unspecified classes of ships and aircrafts in the ORBAT's they are based partially on Agadarian ships that I don't know the details about. I will therefore decide the specification of the ships and planes later.

The Chambers of the United Government Council, Ft. Aquilaine

"Good that we agree on this. The funds assigned to the Crown of the West will be increased by five per cent. Now, Princess Aleera wants to speak to us about matters in a far-off country concerning our close allies, the Quendi." Grand Empress Felicia nodded to her sister.

Aleera stood up from her chair to address the council. She took a deep breath and began the speech she had prepared. “Your majesty, my fellow councilmen, lords and ladies of the United Empire of Aquilinia” She began with her usual flair for the dramatic. “It has recently come to my attention that the Quendi forces in the collapsing state of Agadar have founded an independent nation around the city of Barun. A state which shall seek to restore peace, prosperity and order to the war torn lands of Agadar.” She paused for the message to settle down, or maybe it was just for the drama.

“In the best interests of the people of Agadar, who have suffered for too long as a result of their leaders pride and arrogance I ask that we lend aid to this humanitarian war against chaos and terror. With the reunification of Western Aquilinia into a strong and sovereign United Empire the nation of Aquilinia has never been stronger. I ask that we mobilize a force to aid the Agadarian cause.” She sat down again looking around at the councillors.

Grand Empress Felicia looked at the council. "You have heard Princess Aleera. On the table is the proposal of sending an expeditionary force to aid our allies in the nation of Agadar. What say you, councillors?"

Lord Air Marshal Bader was the first to speak up. "My fellow councillors, I am in support of the proposal. As the princess has said, Aquilinia, and especially our military, has never been stronger. So why not use this force? I say we send a sizable expeditionary force to aid our allies."

Next to speak was the Councillor for Foreign Affairs, Sir Cameron Maywood. "I also agree. The Alcedina and with them the Quendi are our closest allies. We must do all we can to support them. It is our duty, it is a question of our honour. And we should not forget that they have aided us as well. It is time to repay that favour."

Vice-Admiral Moonfire took the word. "I concur. Our forces are ready, and they are waiting for a new assignment. I will personally command the fleet taking the force to Agadar, and I suggest that Field Marshal Lovato command the ground forces."

When the other two councillors only nodded their agreement, Felicia clapped her hands. "Then it is decided. Vice-Admiral Moonfire and Field Marshal Lovato will take an expeditionary force to Agadar. Now we must decide on what forces to send, and who will command them."

After another hour of discussions, the details had been decided, and the following day, a fleet carrying the expeditionary force left Southport for the coast of Agadar.

Smoke drifted lazily through the air of the meeting room as a lone phone rang. It was the low tone buzzing, easy enough to cut through any conversation. The man on the center of the left side reached a picked up the phone,
“Sir?” he asked calmly, knowing all too well who was on the other end of the phone. “Yes sir... yes.” The others around the table waited patiently, only listening to one side of the conversation. “Yes, a new state.” The man pointed at a pad of paper across the table and indicated that he needed it. The man closest gave it a small shove and it slid easily across the Narlwood table. The man looked as if he was about to write, and then feverishly looked for a pen while saying, “Aye Sir, reports indicate Aquilinian forces are on route.” Someone took initiative and threw a pen over to the man.

Holding the phone in one hand and writing with the other he continued talking, “Air Wing, sir, and... Oh,” the man seemed disappointed, “Only a Regiment, sir?” Someone sighed from across the room. “Oh, right, Minimum. What is the ceiling?” The man nodded and continued writing down some more things, “A division and a TWG, right... oh, sir, Naval,” the man quickly added, after catching a stare from a woman down the table. “A CSF? ... Roger.” Again the man wrote some things down, “Okay, sir, I believe that is all. Thank you,” He replied to the person on the other end of the phone before putting it down lightly.

Rubbing his temples he turned to the woman down the table, “You got your Carrier, Admiral.”
The lady nodded her thanks before asking, “He put the ceiling at a Division?”
“Mhm,” mumbled the man, sitting back. “His reason is they need combat experience.”
“Surely, but a Division is a bit Oscar Kilo,” retorted the Admiral.
Overkill? The man snorted. “Yup,” he said finally before looking at a man in a green uniform, “I believe we should only send a Regiment, what are your opinions Colonel?”
The Colonel scratched his chin, “How about the Eighty-Fifth, General?”
The General wrote a big eight-five below Army before looking at a man in blue.
“TWG-38,” he responded after talking to his colleges.
Again the General wrote a number down before his eyes finally came back to the Admiral.
She was ready, no need to consult anyone, “CTF Aurora should bring enough fire power to cover that whole area... So,” she said with a sigh, “I believe we should send CTF Guardian.”
“Right...” muttered the General loud enough for everyone to hear, “Make it happen people. I want them out of here by noon!”

“Oh!” he added on afterthought, “Someone alert the Quendi!”

Aleera smiled as the council decided to follow her suggestion. A rebel at heart Aleera had sympathized with Althea and Althanas immediately as she heard that they and arch-strategos Kanq had decided to form their own state. Aleera was a good friend of Adelaide and had had a good relationship with Ansur in the past. Those four siblings deserved the chance to rise in the hierachy of the house. Therefore she was happy that Aquilinia would join the Greater Agadarian Empire. Now the Imperial Regency Council would have no choice but to bless the new state.

A knock on her door and a "come in" later strategos Oberon Nysore stood in the princesses office. "You summoned me your imperial highness." The elder man said saluting the teenage princess. "Yes strategos. I want you to prepare the Stallion Legion for landfall in Agadar." The princess said. "I want your men to participate in the ongoing civil war in Agadar and support Greater Agadaria and arch-strategos Kanq." Slightly surprised the strategos raised an eyebrow. "Aren't those people rebels or something?" He asked. Aleera gave him a cold look. "Follow your orders strategos and let wiser men and women handle the politics." She said. The strategos saluted not wishing to anger his generous but excentric boss. "As your imperial highness commands." He said. Then, with a gesture from Aleera, the strategos bowed deeply and exited the room.

As the man left Aleera lit up in a enticing smile. Now there was no way the Imperial Regency Council would declare Althea, Althanas and Kanq traitors. With her own legion supporting them the embarrasment of doing so would be to much for them. They would support Greater Agadaria whether they wanted to or not.

Shazbodor Palace
"My sister and her supporters get more and more troublesome." Princess-Regent Arabella complained to her grandson Prince-Regent Athal. The two had taken a brief break from the negotiations in the crypt and was walking through the ravaged gardens of the castle. "Now she is providing ideological support for a seccesionist movement in Agadar." Arabella continued. "Whats next? Revokation of our Imperium?" Athal nodded. It was well known that Arabella had a strained relationship with her younger sister Alesia Alcedina, High Justiciarian of the Quendi. "Well is the alesian ideology really so bad? All it entails is the belief that the nation and people of the Quendi should take first place in our law making." He asked already knowing the answer. "A heretical idea Athal." His grandmother said. "Our loyality should lie with our house above all else. Sometimes I regret I don't have the strength to order Alesia to take her own life. Now in regards to this "Greater Agadaria" we must begin to take steps to crush ..."

The Princess-Regent was interrupted as her squire, an elderly gentleman ran through the garden holding a telegram in his hand. "It seems that the negotiations doesn't work without us." Arabella said with a sigh taking the telegram. As she read it Athal noticed how her face showed sign of surprise. "Well it seems we aren't going to crush the alesian movement anyway." She said with surprise in her voice. "It would appear Aleera has prevented us from doing so." She handed Athal the telegram. As he read he lit up in a great smile. He for one understood why the alesians believed what they did even though he didn't agree. "Who would have thought that sweet little Aleera would become such a great politician. She reminds me of our foreign minister during the First Interregnum." He said with a short laugh. Arabella grunted. "I was our foreign minister during the First Interregnum Athal." She said with a stern voice. Then she too lit up in a smile. Seeing one of her grandchildren do well in politics was far more important to her then the fact that Aleera had prevented her from striking at Greater Agadaria. After all what was the agadarian issue but a minor annoyance. It was far more important that a competent generation of princes was ready to take over when she herself would die.

"So what shall we do?" Athal asked crossing his fingers. Arabella shrugged. "Well I am not going to have Aleera commit suicide if thats what you feared Athal. I guess she has taken over this case. You can inform her that she can do what she like in Agadar. Oh, and tell her that if she ever try to cross me again I will have her defenestrated." Arabella said half in jest. Athal nodded. No purges this time.

Barun
The room was filled with people, agadarians and quendis alike, that had been summoned by Althea. Nearly two hundred men and woman, mostly quendi officers of medium rank, agadarian nobles and prominent former fascists and democrats. The most influential men and women in Greater Agadaria and they where not an impressive sight. Only two dukes, Selia and Romoria, had heeded her call. The new nation was in desperate need of leaders. Too many had died. Too many opposed the new nation.

"Lords, Agadarians, Countrymen." Althea said walking towards the podium in the provisional Imperial Diet. Gradually people settled down turning towards her. "Rejoice my friends. News have just arrived that Aquilinia and Trivval will be sending forces to aid us in building our new nation." She said. "Even the dying lands of the Quendi, my old homeland, will be sending their Stallion Legion to aid us against fascists and democrats alike. Rejoice my friends. Rejoice." The crowd began applauding although Althea was not blind to the fact that it was her own officers who cheered the most while the agadarians, democrats and fascists alike, received her news less enthusiastically. There was a lot of work to do before they would be one nation. To her surprise and joy she however noticed that the duke of Romoria seemed to give an almost interested applause. The man, and men like him, would be crucial in melting together the new nation.

"As we speak our own forces has taken the eastern parts of the Province of Agadaria while they push towards the duchy of Bartolt meeting no resistance. Our nation has lived for less then 36 hours yet it has almost doubled its area in that time." She continued. This time the agadarians applause seemed more genuine. Apparently expansion pleased them more then foreign soldiers in their homeland. Not really surprisingly. Althea quickly decided to leave out the fact that part of the reason why Kanq's forces where succesful in Bartolt was due to the House of Bartolt being in the hands of Greater Agadaria. In time she would reveal the old imperial family but not before she had assumed complete control of the coastal regions.

The Duchy of Ordenia
As the home province of the missing chancellor Sebastian of Ordenia there where few provinces in all of the former Agadar that was as opposed to the Empire of Greater Agadaria. To most ordenians it was simply a fancy name for Quendi Puppet State. Many local patriots, as well as the nobility and the democrats had allied shortly after the new empire was declared. They where not going to let foreign invaders take their land. Their leader Bernard Noli, a minor noble and a former officer in the imperial army, was struggling to persuade the fascists in Ordenia as well as the citizens of the major cities to join forces with him. If succesful Noli hoped to get as many as a quarter of a million men to defy the Empire. While the well trained war machine of the Quendi could not be defeated by such a force Noli hoped that more forces from other duchies would rally to his course if he could keep the quendis on their toes for a few months.

Nero frowned as the computer lost transmission. This will seriously compromise our objectives and priorties... the squad ain't gonna like this. Nero turned to his men and thourougly thought of a way to alert them of the situation without getting them too startled. But how can you calm down a squad sent on near-suicidal missions? Hell our name is "Suicide Squad".... well nothing ventured nothing gained. Besides these guys are the best of the best. Nero chimed to himself.

"Allright boys here's the situation, apparently we've lost contact with Gimmler. We'll have to compromise. Command at the Senate has told us to re-assign our objectives into what the Lord Marshal sees fit. He're's what they see fit: first thing, we need to assassinate every single member of the Royal family, every man, every women, and every child, one bullet at a time." The rest of the men looked undeterred and apathetic (the cold bastards) "After we've achieved that goal our next is to become a guerilla force in the midst of this living-hell revolution. That means, sabotage, terrorism, logistics, and whole lotta explosives. (What is it that makes blowing shit so fun?) Anyway that'll pave the way for our armored units to Blitz across the nation. This is to be further noted that the Senate DOES NOT want the enemy aware of our aid in this situation, that mean's no flags people. Is that clear?"

The squad members barely even flinched.

"I guess so... alright troops let's drop into Hell, that means get checked, get set, and GET READY FOR A COMBAT DROP!!! BRACE FOR CARNAGE"

OOC: It has to be some stealth if it can fly over a city and still avoid detection but allright as long as you don't use bombs I will allow it. Now are you parachuting men down over Barun? and in that case how many?

Duchy of Copernica
Duke Baradenus of Copernica, the former Grand Chamberlain of the Empire, had no intention of siding with the Quendi's. Their decision to turn on the empire was shocking and appalling and Duke Baradenus had not hesitated to make an alliance with the fascists in Copernica to halt the expansion of the so called Greater Agadaria. Knowing very well that apart from Harnedia cities like Bartolt, Copernica and Carthia would be first priority for the Quendi forces he had begun preparing the defense of his city while sending requests for aid out in all directions. With a small fleet of an aircraft carrier, two cruisers and seven destroyers he knew that it was only a matter of time before the QRFSDEA Navy and INGA would sink his ships. Therefore he had ordered the fleet to hide a few hundred kilometers from the city. Close enough to come to aid but hopefully not close enough for the Quendi forces to discover them.

Yet the fleet was in no position to fight back against the forces of Greater Agadaria and as such the duke began preparations for agressive urban fighting. While the sound fascist defeat in Barun of course came to mind Baradenus trusted that his men would be able to hold of any invading force long enough for allies to come from Ordenia or Bartolt. It had to be enough. With half a legion of professional troops in the city as well as tens of thousands of civilians that over the past months had gotten a priceless military training struggling to survive the down fall of their nation Baradenus was confident.

City of Harnedia
Harnedia, the de facto capital of Agadar since the first battle of Agadaria. Now with the old capital in ruins the obvious choice as a new capital. With a large democratic force in the city and a populace that was ready to fight the forces of Greater Agadaria and its foreign allies. Every street was filled with baricades and land mines, every roof was equiped with machine guns and snippers, every plaza filled with soldiers and tanks. Count Harold of Harnedia was not going to let the traitors take his city without a fight. His fleet was sadly made up of three littoral ships and a single heavily damaged destroyer that had miraculously avoided detection by the quendi fleet. Or perhaps the quendi's simply saw no reason to waste their missiles on what could never become a threat against their naval supremacy. Count Harold was realistic enough to believe that it was probarbly the later.

But as weak as Harnedia's defenses where at sea as powerful where its ground forces. The chaos following the nuclear attack on Agadaria had hit Harnedia hard but many of the democratic forces near Agadaria had eventually arrived in the city bringing more them a hundred surface to air artillery pieces and the same amount of long range missile launchers to Harnedia. Along with elements of the 1st legion of Agadar and the citizens Count Harold of Harnedia was not scared of the forces of Greater Agadaria. If he could come to an agreement with duke Barradenus of Copernica and general Bernard Noli then the Empire of Greater Agadaria would be surrounded by a large force that they might not be able to defeat as easily as they had defeated the barunians.

Royal Palace
Day of Greater Agadaria Announcement
In a dark room hidden under the Royal Palace the Upper Echelon of the Caturdayan Military sat discussing the current world events when a screen flashed on and a face appeared on it. "A communique has been posted to the International Community explaining that a new nation has risen from the ruins of Agadar. They are informing the world and the people of the former nation that they are going to unite the duchies of the former empire. The King has said that it is your decision to make whether we go in or not. Good day Generals." The screen went black and the generals started talking among themselves. "I say we send an invasive force and take the entire country for ourselves." said a gruff voice puffing on a cigar. "That is not the answer for everything Peter. I say we send in the navy and offer our services that way." a feminine voice replied.

The next voice was smooth and masculine. It said "General Varos, Admiral Yulsa, and General Colder how about we send in Special Forces with air, naval, and ground forces. How about 2 Battalions of Marines and..." General Colder piped in finally "I'll send two Air wings." Admiral Yulsa added "And I will send the HMS Vincent Dinisi, HMS Emily Dinisi, 3 Diomedes Class Frigate, 2 Mercy Class Supply Ship, 6 New Buckura Class Battleship, an 6 Hornet Class Amphibious Assault Ship." General Varos's gruff voice chimed in again "I will lend 2 Armored Corp Battalions." After General Varos was done speaking a door opened and a young man entered. On his shoulder was the rank insignia of a Colonel. He saluted the Generals and said "General Johanson. Good to meet you. The President has ordered me to assist you in anyway. Therefore I am offering you the SLAF and SSF. Now if you will excuse me I will get my warriors ready to be moved to the HMS Vincent Dinisi." With that the man left and the Generals sighed.

"Colonel Gunther needs to learn to let the grown ups talk and to stop eavesdropping. It is unbecoming." Apparently the Colonel didn't strike the Generals as a capable leader.

Aboard the HMS Vincent Dinisi
Off the Coast of Greater Agadaria

Colonel Gunther walked onto the flight deck of the Vincent Dinisi. His Special Forces Battalions had been station on 2 of the Amphibious Assault Ships, the HMS Emily Dinisi, and the HMS Vincent Dinisi. They would be the first ones to be deployed and they would be deployed before anyone sent a Communique to the Greater Agadarian leaders. Soon he was joined by a young man of 16 years. The Colonel turned to the young man and said "Shouldn't you be getting ready for deployment Corporal?" The 16 year old gave him a smile and said "I am locked and loaded sir. When do we ship out?" Colonel Gunther turned towards a group of helicopters whose pilots where just turning the engines on. "We leave immediately Prince William. No go tell the others to get their a..." The rest of the Colonel's sentence was unheard as the helicopters came to life. The Corporal didn't have to go far as the Special Forces soldiers already knew what was going on.

Off the Coast of Greater Agadaria

As soon as Captain Dante Cumpton, commanding officer of the HMS Vincent Dinisi, came onto the bridge he was saluted by everyone. He gave a quick salute back and said "Ensign Vurt send an Official Communique to the Greater Agadarian leaders. it will say the following."

Code: Select all: To: Agadarian Leaders Attention Agadarian Leaders. I, Captain Dante Cumpton, have been ordered here by the Kingdom of Caturdays to assist you in taking back your country. As I send you this we are nearing the city of Barun. We have brought with us a number of ships, a total of 2 Air Wings, 2 Battalions of Tanks, and 2 Battalions of Marines. We will go where you need us and strike where you want us to strike. Sincerely, From: Captain Dante Cumpton HMS Vincent Dinisi

As soon as the message was sent Captain Cumpton sat back in his chair and said "All we have to do now is wait."

Off the Coast of Agadar, near the remains of Agadaria

Vice-Admiral Moonfire and Field Marshal Lovato were standing on the observation deck of Moonfire's flagship, the carrier IAS Felicia. The trip to Agadar had been smooth and short, and all ships had made it there in one piece. "Sir Henry, please, go down to the bridge and tell them to send out a flight of Raptors to scout the coast and see if it's clear for landing our forces," the Vice-Admiral said. "Don't forget that the city is a nuclear wasteland, Violet. You can't possibly plan to attempt a landing there?" Lovato said in a worried tone. Moonfire shrugged. "Send out a few drones equipped with radiation scanners as well. The ruins of the city actually do seem like a good spot for a landing, especially since there might even be usable port facilities." Lovato nodded. "Now that sounds more reasonable. I'll make the arrangements. Meanwhile, I think you should ask our allies where we are needed most, and if they can recommend a landing spot if the radiation levels are too high." He saluted and left the observation deck, and Moonfire walked to the comms station to send a message to their allies.

“Ma’am!” cried the Operator, “Report in from Overwatch 1-1!”
Rear Admiral Jekais nodded her thanks to the man as she continued speaking to the FO. “We have two planes on Active-5 and a Flight on Active-15,” the FO pointed out the planes to the Admiral.
“Ma’am!” called the Operator again, “Overwatch 1-1 reports contact with unknown vessel!”
The Admiral sighed, she was hoping for an easy night. Waving away the FO with orders to prepare some aircraft, she turned to the Operator. “Run Checks on it?”
“Aye, Aye. It appears to be a ship of Victor Class, supported by two Charlies and seven Deltas.” There was a whir as a machine spat out a piece of paper. The Operator tore it out and gave it a glance, before continuing. “It also doesn’t show up as an Allied ship, so it is neither Quendi nor Aquilinian.”

“Damn,” muttered Jekais under her breath, feeling the tension rising in the room. She had to think fast, Confront it or bypass it? They had the force to breeze through the little fleet infront of them, but at the risk of the men they were carrying? She walked over to the TacMap and looked at where one of the Radarmen had placed the unknown ships. She hmmed, Easily enough to bypass, but leave a force like that behind us?

“Operator?” she asked, not looking up from the map.
“Ma’am?”
She pointed at the ships in her Force and divided them with a imaginary line. “Send the Switchblade and several destroyers towards the coast.” Again she drew a line bypassing the enemy fleet altogether. “But,” she said, holding up a finger, “Send the Castrator with them. Keep the Subs with us.” Finally she turned to the FO, “Get those Active-5s and the Active-15s in the air, and prepare another Squadron.” With the battlecruiser protecting the Commando Carrier, the Corporate might look like a tasty target and she had to do everything she could to stop that.
On a last thought, “Operator?”
“Aye, ma’am?”

“Hail the unknown fleet, let them know we don’t mean to harm them, and order them to stand down.” She sighed, “This war may bring a lot of deaths, we don’t need to start now.”

It was going to be a slow day.

"Thank you XO, Radik, Radio all allied ships in the area and tell them the Bladian First Fleet has arrived with Bladian soldiers in transports ready to land" The Admiral said to Radik the comms man
"Aye, Sir signaling all allied ships now"Radik said as he tuned into the right frequency and started to say the message "Attention Allied ship this the Bladian First Fleet, do you read our call"(Do you copy, basically)

The reports from the Raptors sounded promising. They hadn't detected any sign of hostile activity in the area yet, although they still had quite some area to cover. They would have to wait for the UAVs to return back to the ship before the radiation readings could be looked at. Admiral Moonfire walked around the bridge, waiting for the scouts to return, when the Comms officer called for her. "Admiral, we're being called!" She walked over and took the com. "Attention Allied ship this the Bladian First Fleet, do you read our call", the caller said. "This is Vice-Admiral Moonfire, Imperial Aquilinian Navy. We read you loud and clear, Bladians. Good to hear from you and welcome to the circus!"

Princess Althea Alcedina was just reading a repport stating that the enemy in both Harnedia and Copernica was preparing their defenses while forces in Ordenia was being mobilized. It didn't look too good. She had hoped that the imperial forces could have sweept through most of the northern provinces without meeting resistance. Now it seemed it would be a bitter conflict right from the start. Reading to telegrams she had received from the aquilinian forces and the forces of Caturdays however cheered the young triumvir up. As long as the motherland didn't denounce the new nation their was hope. She quickly wrote down her replies.

Sending the telegrams Althea summoned one of her military aides with a gesture of her hand. "Where are our allies now Martin?" She asked. "There is a bladian fleet somewhere in our waters. Most likely near the western island of Selia although as I mentioned we don't know where exactly. They are currently calling our naval command and talking with the aquilinian admiral." The aide said. Althea nodded. Yet another quendi ally comming to join the party. "I will take that call myself." She said.

Minuttes later, after giving the order to commence the final attack on Bartolt, Althea picked up her phone. "Greetings, this is Althea Alcedina, triumvir and Imperial Prince Elector of the Empire of Greater Agadaria calling all allied forces in the Agadarian Sea." She said.

Violet read through the reports from the recently returned drones. The radiation levels in and around the city ruins were extreme. That moment, the message from the Quendi arrived. She read through it and smiled. "150 milometres..that's what, some 90 miles? Easily within range of our fighters. Sir Henry!" Lovato walked over to her. "What is it, Admiral?" "Look at this." She handed him both documents. After Lovato had read them, he nodded. "I know what you're thinking. Harnedia. Sounds tough, but we should be able to take it." "Then it is decided. Captain! Order the fleet to set course to Harnedia!"

Some time later

"Admiral, we're just outside their range!" The captain's voice sounded across the bridge. "Good. Send out some UAVs to recon!" "Aye, ma'am!"

Ten minutes later, six stealth-drones were launched from the carrier, heading towards Harnedia.

In the days since the announcement proclaiming the New Quendi, Gratislavia had become a melting pot of ideas regarding how the state should proceed. Now a decision had to be made, and so it would be. Within the confines of the royal palace the cabinet was meeting to discuss what position, if any should be taken. Yes today would be quite an interesting day indeed, and a dark day for those who would oppose the crown.

"Your majesty it is impervious that we reestablish the state of Adgar, a sovereign nations has been destroyed, as a civilized nation it is our duty to reestablish the state of Adgar," minister of they interior Klaus Houwel stated loudly.

"I disagree your majesty obliviously Adgar was unable to sustain itself, however i do believe the Quendi state ought to have some challenge in the area so i propose this, a Gratislavian invasion of former Adgar to establish a predominantly Imperialist society in the ruins of Adgar. Spoke the minister of finance Karl Withrope in quite a sadistic tone, as the slightest glimpse of a smile protruded from his face.

"I must say that i agree with you sir Withrope it is oblivious that there is much to gain in Adgar, therefore we shall send a force to occupy portions of Adgar to better establish our position in that region."The Imperiator stated with an extremely broad smile.

"It shall be done our majesty," stated the Imperiators aid.

The mans aide quickly left the room at quite a brisk pace, headed towards strategic command. Once he arrived he was whisked away to relay the order to the fleet. After a short conversation with the commander who would be leading the task force the aide returned to the palace, for his work was done at least for now. But of course it was a completely different story for the man who would be leading the task force, for his work had just begun and what work it was.

With the aides final words Edward Rothenburg relayed the orders he had received to the men under his command. The fleet would depart on the morrow and land upon the shores of Adgar, claiming the land for Gratislavia. Then his fleet would proceed to assault the Quendi fleet in the area to establish dominance of the seas. In turn a large air strike would commence in the area known as Adgaria in order to soften up the Quendi positions. If all went well this new land would be under the control of Gratislavia within the month.

Captain Cumpton quitely read the response he received from Greater Agadaria and turned on the ship's Intercom after he finished. "Men and Women of the Caturdayan Armed Forces. Today we go to assist in ending a civil war that has been going on for months now. You fine men and women may think we are the only ones trying to do so but this is not so. I have talked to the leader of Greater Agadaria and she informed me that there is another nation already here. Now we are heading towards the highly valued target designated by the Greater Agadarian. Prepare for combat and give a prayer to whatever god you have." He said to the crew over the intercom. He had purposefully left out the possibility of Anti-Ship Ballistic Missile attack. The two carriers had 8 CIWSs and the Battleships and 2 on each ship. So if there was a ballistic missile launched at his ships, he doubted it would get even close to them. The Captain turned to the Helmsman and said "Move to port 15* and head 50 kms in." He then picked up the Inter-ship radio and said "All ships move 15* port and head 50 kms. Activate all CIWS Point-Defense Weapons and have them actively scanning the horizon for possible Anti-Ship Missiles. HMS Emily Dinisi Launch 1 AWACs and 4 F-15s for Defense. Battleships prepare for shore bombardment but don't initiate until I give the order. Hornets begin preparations for the upcoming Amphibious landing. Frigates prepare missiles to be launched but do not launch until ordered by me to do so." Captain Cumpton set the radio down as the Aye ayes were sent as response. He turned back to the Communications Operator and said "Send this message to the Greater Agadarian Leader and make this one to all Ships within a 70km radius."

The Captain sat back as his messages were sent to their destination. Out of the Bridge window he watched as planes were being launched from the carriers and the marines being ordered about by their gruff Sergeants. The marines that were lounging on the decks of the were soon rounded up and herded down to the loading bay to be equipped and loaded into their LCU 1646 which were then prepared to leave the hold when the orders were given. All that was left to do was wait for the reply and wait to get to the landing zone.

The men shivered in their cold, leather chairs, arranged tightly around the table in an effort to pool body heat. The lesser military staff had just completed their second tour in the steamy jungles of Shoobooshaaba – the cold Generian steppe was an unwelcome change.

Chancellor Licinius strode in and easily swept into his seat, clearly untouched by the harsh wintery grasp. He had hardly finished opening his notes before he began speaking, eyes still pouring over the sheaf of paper in his hands.

“General Ihkbar, how is the third army?”

“Well sir, as bored as can be. War games can only go so long before they lose any appeal.”

“But are they ready for action?”

“Of course sir! But, as you know, a million men can’t be moved that quickly. They’re still mobilized – but we could get probably one or two hundred thousand out by the end of today, assuming Admiral Illyanovich’s boats are ready, and the rest in the next few days. Where to?”

“Quendi. The fascist forces there were defeated and it seems a new regime is rising to take its place. Intelligence indicates they may prove hostile to friendly forces. Whatever the case, the new regime barely controls forty-percent of their territory. Bhalk wants to reinstate the fascist government or another absolute monarchy and cultivate either a protectorate or a new ally – whichever the nation would prefer. Illyanovich – your vessels?”

“Ready as always. The first fleet has also been engaged in war games and can carry the men by the end of the day, the second or third fleet will need to mobilize before one can carry the rest of the third army.”

“Alright, do that now. I want the ships on their way shortly. Send two more divisions from the first corps as soon as you can and just have the third fleet take the remainder of the army to closer military bases so we can deploy more rapidly if need be. Arbiter Doyle, I want you to reposition your most ready forces to the nearest military bases we have and be prepared to replace any downed aircraft from any of the three fleets. We may need additional air units to strike at strategic targets within their nation. Any questions?”

The remaining military heads shrank in their chairs as the three men quickly looked amongst themselves before turning their attention to Licinius. A silent headshake reassured him that his orders would quickly be carried out.

“Alright, get to it. In the meantime, I’ll be searching for any remnants of the Fascist forces with which to open diplomatic channels. Additionally, we’ve already deployed 45 Hammer-Head and Stingray subs to release special forces and Raptors to connect with any Fascist units and assist them in surviving until our conventional forces arrive.”

A short distance off the coast of Copernica the submarines continued to sail in on MHD, silently crawling under the waters. Several stingrays carried the deployments of soldiers and sailed in the inside of a loosely formed wolf pack as Hammer-heads sailed on the outside.

Under-ship portcullises opened as hundreds of elite soldiers, clad in wetsuits and re-breathing apparatuses, silently slid into the water. Some groups rose to the surface and noiselessly inflated zodiacs before climbing aboard and heading to the shore in those. Most though, continued to silently make their way underwater.

The first fleet cut quickly through the murky blue waves as they raced toward Agadaria. The Empire maintained at least two fleets and two armies on constant mobilization to prepare for any conflict that must be quickly entered. It was for this reason that the two divisions, numbering two-hundred thousands, were able to board their transports so readily, complete with eighteen thousands IFVs and fifty thousand attached MBTs.

The Empire was eager to get boots on the ground quickly. And the men too, were eager to taste blood.

Overhead, and Imperial skynet surrounded the fleet as electronic countermeasures roared to ensure that any attack would quickly be thwarted so the whole military force would be delivered.

As the first fleet eagerly sailed toward their destination, the third sailed into Hudson port – making their own preparations to transport their share of the military forces.

The submarine pack, their mission completed, sailed away toward a juicier target, the 7 carriers of the deployed Quendi targets. They fanned out a sizeable distance and crawled slowly on their silent MHD so as to take the carriers by surprise and put them in the sea. It was a movement they had perfected before, and fully expected to complete with minimal loses before turning on the remaining Quendi fleet.

The forty five submarines broke into smaller and small groups and positioned themselves so as to silently approach from multiple different angles, thereby greatly increasing the chance of success, and expected enemy casualties.

Princess Alesia Alcedina sat in her large neo-gothic office in the Court Building reading reports and court rullings from throughout the Quendi Empire. The seventy eight year old tall and tail thin High Justiciarian nodded as she read. Law and order was still maintained. Bella's politics had yet to destroy the highly efficient system that Alesia and her predecessors had created. While not happy, Alesia "The Crane" Alceddina was never happy, she none the less feelt good this morning. More and more people within the house accepted the law and the nation as being above the petty interests of the Imperial Regency Council.

Suddenly Alesia noticed a repport that didn't bear a seal that she recognised. And she recognised all six hundred thirty two court districts she administered as well as the sixty six high courts. Yet there was a seal she didn't recognise. A golden eagle with three equally golden orbs on a white banner. Curious she put aside a decree forbidding circumsition within consent in one of the colonies, and took the repport quickly skimming through it she lit up in a very rare smile. Althanas and Althea Alcedina where good young people that recognised the law and the nation.

The High Justiciarian quickly scribled down a letter to the Triumvirate of the Empire of Greater Agadaria. If Bella would not openly oppose the new nation then her sister would openly support it. For a moment Alesia thought about how her relationship with her sister had developed since the dead of Athal Alcedina.

The city of Bartolt, The duchy of Bartolt
"Freedom or Dea... I mean, For the Empire of Greater Agadaria." Arch-strategos Kanq shouted after remembering that he was now a triumvir of Greater Agadaria and not a soldier of La Serenissima. His men, who still saw themselves as quendi soldiers, shouted the war cry "Freedom or Death." Then they began advancing towards the old castle of Bartolt, the last part of the city that opposed Quendi control. In a few hours the Eagle standard of Greater Agadaria would wave from it and the first of the twenty seven duchies would be firmly under complete quendi control. Or Greater Agadarian control Kanq reminded himself. Princess Althea would be furious if he didn't remember it. Something about "making the agadarian natives feel welcome in the new state" or whatever. Kanq really didn't care about the politics and intrigues of the princes. As long as he had a battle ready legion and an enemy to use it on he was satisfied. Who needed all that political stuff anyway?

Waters three hundred kilometers of the coast of Copernica
"Orders your grace." Commodore Marcus Valen said standing in front of a tv screen showing the duke of Copernica. "Sink their carriers. I will not have the Trivvalians land in my duchy commodore." The duke said. "They are already within range and you have done nothing to stop them. Most disappointing commodore." The duke gave the man a stern look. Commodore Valen sighed. The duke had just signed his death warrant. "Your grace with all due respect the enemy has two aircraft carriers and a battlecruiser. Fighting them will be a near impossible task." The commodore insisted. His fleet was the only significant naval force supporting Old Agadar. If it was lost it would mean that the Quendi and the allies would face no opponents at sea. "You have more destroyers then them and the destroyers you have are big ones commodore. I am sure that is enough. If not I will have the FA-18's we stole help you if you are afraid commodore."

The commodore raised an eyebrow, the closest thing to disobedience and disrespect he would show a man of Baradenus's status. "I fear not dead nor captivity your grace." He said with anger in his voice. "I fear only that our nation shall fall to this puppet state of the Quendi. How many FA-18's do your grace posses. They will be needed if the sun shall set upon a agadarian fleet tonight and not upon a sea dominated by our enemies." The duke nodded respectfully to the commodore. Patriotism was getting rarer and rarer. "I have fourteen." He said somewhat embarrased by the not exactly impressive number. "But four missiles each." The duke added seeing the doubt in the commodore's eyes. "It is not enough your grace." Valen said shaking his head. "Well it has to be enough commodore. If we don't attack the enemy navy now then when will we?" The duke said tired of the discussion. "You have your orders, now obey them. Over." Baradenus said ending the conversation.

Commodore Marcus Valen turned from the black screen. He was a talented naval officer and his fleet was well equiped and the men well trained. But still. The enemy could see his ships just as he could see theirs. There would be no cunning manouevering. Simply a quick exchange of missiles and when the dust had settled thousands would have died and one or more likely both fleets would be crippled or sinked. He walked over to his control desk. All ships awaited the order to attack. All he needed to do was press a buttom and then it would happen. With thousands of lives lost as the most likely result. For a moment the commodore hesitated. He suddenly remembered some of the words the Triumvir Althanas Alcedina had said as Greater Agadaria was declared.

"Together we shall build this new nation and not ask each other. "With whom did you stand during the war?" but recognise each and every citizens of this great empire as a brother and equal. The past will be the past and all shall be granted amnesty for any crime commited during these turbulent times. Together in brotherhood we shall rise from the ashes of Agadar and build a nation for all people."

Suddenly it sounded very appealing. For a short moment the commodore feelt a temptation to turn his missiles against the cities where the fascist, democrat and imperial leaders where hidding gathering support for their last causes. They had lead his country to ruin. They where responsible not the new empire. Valens sighed. Then he pressed the buttom sending the attack order to all officers in the fleet.

The 24 F-26 Defender's waited patiently aboard the Copernican aircraft carrier as twelve QU-9 Katana's that the democrats had aquired from their quendi allies before the democrats and quendis became enemies took of. It was the only carrier based air superiority fighters Old Agadar possesed and while they where still on the experimental stage they where highly efficient fighters. Once the trivvalians fired missiles at the carrier they would not be there. Hopefully the F-26 Defender's could also take of but if not then that was a minor concern.

But neither fighters would probarbly play any significant role in the battle. The missiles would have arrived long before the fighters got withing range. In order to draw the attention of the trivvalians towards the city of Copernica to give the fleet a greater chance the FA-18's fired 30 seconds before the fleet. The first 24 of the huge anti ship ballistic missile flew at mach 12 towards the closest enemy carrier as the missiles came within range they fired six flares each such making a total of 144 targets for the enemy to deal with.

And what more is our satelites have detected a very large amount of ships leave the Borman naval bases. I am afraid that we can't take our naval superiority for granted anymore." The princess nodded. The Empire of Greater Agadaria now faces a great threat from the sea. Both a sizeable gratislavian fleet and an enormous bormanian one is sailing towards our shores. Both are hostile to our cause and we ask all allied vessels to do what they can to stop them. The good news is that the two fleets doesn't appear to be allies so we can hope that they will wage war against each other before us. Untill then all vessels are to be in highest alert. As for a safe landing I suggest landing at Barun. Any invasion plans in regards to Harnedia will have to be called of for the moment anyway. QRFSDEA Navy and INGA positions
Despite his youth navarch Althanas Alcedina was not inexperienced in naval warfare. He knew very well that especially his two super carriers would provide an irresisteble target for any enemy force. Therefore he had secured that not only his AWAC's but also maritime patrol aircrafts searched the sea's up to 2,500 kilometers from the carriers. It was time and ressource consuming to have the maritime patrol aircrafts fly around in circles but the aircraft carriers was to valuable for Althanas to risk anything.

To day this precaution proved itself to be worth it. The Greater Agadarian Maritime Search & Destroy Aircraft's was equiped with MAD detectors and seven hundred kilometers from the carriers one of the patroling aircrafts noticed a large amount on annomalies. Shortly thereafter more and more annomalies was discovered and soon nearly all of the bormanian submarines where discovered. Althanas said a short prayer to the Gods of War that he had not rellied on the AWAC's alone. They didn't have MAD and their radars would have never seen the stealth submarines. A good thing that stealth didn't effect MAD scannings.

While the submarines was still to far away to be a real threat Althanas summoned all his 22 Maritime Search & Destroy Aircraft's. Equiped with deepth charges and ASROC they would be the first line of attack. The second line would be helicopters armed with torpedo's and ASROC. Althanas however hoped that the enemy submarines would never get close enough for him to need his helicopters. No, the enemy had no way of knowing that the Greater Agadarian planes had MAD scanners. Once they came within five hundred kilometers range of the carriers they would face a nasty surprise.
