I just have a few questions before I can join, just so I can work an angle for myself, this is essentially a Civil War right?

No. Well not yet. Basically 25 "fluff" years ago this fleet got sucked into a wormhole and had to fend for themselves. As mentioned in the 2nd post, the Caesar is only in the first steps of his plan. Basically, hes building up power for a possilbe civil war down the road. Now if you want to incite some conflict between him and another state you are at war with ten they could be used as a tool, eventually leading them to civil war against Palmerozi. So far, its almost completely open ended, except for the eventuallity of war. Err.. if that makes any sense... it did in my mind :blush:

Uh...alright then, so you don't actually have any storyline thought out yet?

It could be a diplomatic meeting that ends with my diplomat getting caught up in this spiralling situation.

Oh no, I have a storyline, but what I'm saying is that that certain storyline can adapt to whichever way an outside force pushes or pulls it. This first thread is basically them entering and looking for some friends and maybe some foes. It'll all end up with a civil war. But things need to be set in place first.

So basically i'm harvesting everything i can right now for as little loss as possible (not harvesting other people's worlds. as the costs of battle are inefficient when there are so many unclaimed worlds and systems) anyway. i could stumble onto you looking for a place to harvest or you could do likewise on my operations.

Aboard the Titus station. Its basically a moon sized space station with 3 large arches jutting from it. Aboard that is where you'll find the Caesar. He likes to deal with things directly.

Hello, I have seen your thread and am intrigued. I myself am Roman Empire esque but with the glorious 40k Chaos added in to form The Chaotic Roman Imperium. The CRI is always looking for more people to corrupt to the wills of Chaos/more allies to fight the non Chaos Roman Empire of Terraius (who is quite big). So yeah, would Chaos Roman Ambassadors and then promises of power from the Chaos gods be cool?

OR

The civil war faction you hint at could be a aided by chaos or even a Chaos cult. So many possibilities and I am fine with any.

Calaveras and Abruzi I would love to have both of you. But first Cal, what are you're intentions? Just so I can get a feel for what's gonna be going on. And Abruzi, too be honest, I have already signed up to Terraius's Byzantine Empire, however seeing as no actions towards my app have been made, a envoy of the Chaos gods could be the tipping point on the retraction of that app *hint hint ahem*, if the benefits are juicy enough that is.

Also, the IC thread is now semi-closed for now. Don't want good ol' Malleus getting confused with all this text *wink*. But please, if anyone is interested make a post here or TG me and we can see if a special exception can be made.

Okay here it is "DEEP BREATH"

The Universal Government is a nation made up of the clones of one man known as the great leader. It is a psychotic dictatorship to the fullest. The Great Leader is pretty nuts, his current home world being practically city's where he just dumps bodys in the streets. His ULTIMATE goal is to destroy all sentinent beings in the galaxy/universe and replace them with his clones. He will do this by any means, be it violently or peacefully(deception). One of the UG observers will show up(big ass white ships) and he will try to sway you to join his side. It is up to you to trust him, but he really doesn't mean harm.

Alright by me, I do have a small complement of Marines (with the sexy new name for Roman Heavy Infantry) so I could do this very well. Would you be fine with me drop pod-ing into a hostile settlement and then purging it with unholy fire?
