Biography: Born in, to quote Virginia Woolf, those comfortably padded lunatic asylums which are known, euphemistically, as the stately homes of England, Gregory Thomas Rafton the Third is likely the Bastard son of a Great Lord. However, he was shipped off, with his mother, to the country, and grew up there, until age 14, when he was introduced to court and sent to attend the Edward III School of Military Training.

He served briefly in the abortive Anglo-Ryouese War, and was recently involved in a scandal in England, whereby a 15 year girl alleged the child she was carrying was his.

Arrogant, smug and typically English, Rafton assumes he is better than everyone and everything, but has a grudging respect for the Empire's allies and other nations with proud military histories, like Rumbria.

Reasons for wishing to join the Rumbrian military/attend academy: Official Reason: As a first of perhaps many recruits from St George. Unofficial Reason: To get him out of the way.
Would you be willing to remain in the Rumbrian military after the completion of training?: Yes.

Not going to be available for the three whole weeks starting 1st December. I'm being deployed for 3 weeks extensive army training. Heading into a "war zone" of my own, answering my call of duty...so I guess I am saying goodbye to internet connection.

So well, I'll post on the arrival and then relegate my character into Non Playable Character which the OP can control but of course I want him alive and well when I got back...so what ever it is you guys having. Don't let Alex die....yet.

Will also not be able to do RP for a more than 8 months. already sent TG to OP.

Well, I made the last post a while back, and no one has replied since, so I really don't know :S

Formal training hadn't even begun yet...

Name: Tsar Sasha Grigoryivich Jacksov (That's right, he's my leader. I thought a well trained leader could mean a more efficient leadership)

Biography: Sasha was born in war torn Russia, during a civil war between the Russians, west of the Ural mountains, and the Siberians, east of them. He was born to a soldier and his wife, the soldier was Grigory Alexeivich Jacksov. His father was away, fighting against the Russians in the Urals, and the wastes of Siberia, whilst Nikita, his mother, looked after him at home.

Ever chance Grigory could salvage, he took to see his children. Sasha idolised his father, always wanting to grow up like him, a soldier, a commander, an officer, a leader. Grigory had served 8 years in the Military Forces, 3 of which were in the Spetsnaz, a highly trained soldier.

The war finished a few months before Sasha's 12th birthday. The 12th birthday is the standard day for all males to begin basic training. In Siberia, as soon as a child turns 12 he is sent to a basic training course, he does not serve in the military, however he spends 6 years learning how to fight, how to survive, by the age of 16 he would be able to strip any weapon blindfolded and put it back together within a minute or so. Sasha experienced the same rigorous training.

By the age of 18, Sasha was ready to serve. As soon as the child has its 18th birthday, it then completes a year in active service (like modern day Israel, if I'm not mistaken), however should they want to continue they may for as long as they want. He spent three years in the military before being inducted into the Spetsnaz training system. However, his father had died before he could begin his time in the Spetsnaz and was forced to withdraw in order to rule his country.

Reasons for wishing to join the Rumbrian military/attend academy:
Sasha is here today because he never achieved a high rank, as his father had, Sasha was merely a Serjeant (that's right, with a J) and wished to receive further training, as he felt co-ordination and organisation would be good to have as a leader. He also wanted these skills in order for him to protect his family should he need to.

Would you be willing to remain in the Rumbrian military after the completion of training?:
Unfortunately, no as he must return to rule his country.

6 years of training.
3 years active service.
3 months of Spetsnaz training.
