Where the Bladian people overthrew the Gurteg Dynasty against all odds and claimed themselves free
History
Bladia came into official existence in July 1706 when the Gurteg dynasty of Bladia or Tunica as it was known back then fell under the revolting forces of the Bladian people
Faced with starvation and death the people took up arms and under their leader William Connor of Dureska they engaged in combat with the armed forces of the Gurteg dynasty, after several months of fighting and many dead the revolutionaries led by William Connor claimed victory, The leaders of the Gurteg Dynasty were captured and were directed by William Connor himself to leave the country and never return, after refusing to do so they were beheaded and their bodies buried in he Gurteg dynasty crypt
William Connor ascended the throne after the people showed support for the action, right after his coronation he addressed his people and made a vow
"So long as I live and my heirs live, we shall make sure that we do our upmost best to ensure your safety, your health and the safety and health of your children, so long as we rule the people this shall be what focus on the most"
The words may of been vague then but they were made into a constitution in 1712 with ever loop hole covered and the people's lives ensured, William spent most of his days raising money to fund projects to help the poor and needy and projects to help people generally in need
William died at the age of 115 in 1787
