Massacre at Prominent Market in Dominion Islam 02

Al Ma-karz Fish Market had been opened for over twenty years, they served over a million dollars worth of produce to the Muslim community of Dominion Islam 02 and had some twenty employees working for them. Safe to say that they were a prominent member of the community and had no problem getting loans from the banking community. They were a successful business. Mikhail Theotas looked over thew Islamic store with an RPG-7 aimed right down at it.

Mikhail squeezed on the trigger until the rocket propelled itself into front door, exploding against one of the cashier's stations. He looked to his 'comrades' in building and they immediately opened fire on store. Screams could be heard as the smoke began to grow and the building caught on fire. No one tried to go for the extinguisher because of all the bullets and anyone trying to get out was gunned down by the Greeco terrorists.

Eventually the building was completely engulfed in flames and the terrorists took their leave. The Intra-Dominion Stability Force, District 02 didn't arrive until the gunfire reports stopped coming in and the fire department refused to move in without police protection. Safe to say the terrorists had no trouble escaping, and Mikhail and his gang could strike again.

War Refugees Begin Trek for New Homes

Outside the town of Jan Maree was Mikhail and thirty of his followers.They had been drawn together mostly by the Orthodox faith, but some were simply psychotic that wanted to kill everyone and everything and this was there excuse. Many of them were young idealists and had their faces wrapped because they had to go to school the next and would see Muslims. They couldn't get away with a massacre there.

The terrorists, mostly armed with collapsible AK-47s, marched into the city, firing their guns off wildly. After a brief fire fight with the town's police they began lighting the places on fire and executing civilians. The residents are largely forced to flee, though some stay and fight in the city. Overnight gunfire is heard as the town becomes a light house for many extremist Orthodox men who come to join Mihail's band. The central government is no where to be found, but reports are coming in that a single truck entered the city and was filled to the brim with crates. Intra-Dominion Stability Force, District 02 (IDS2) are being mobilized and are currently trading in their revolvers for rifles and such to combat the 'Ortadex' as they are being claimed.

Fear is broiling over as expectations of a ISD2 victory are limited and investments shrink as the issue develops. Dominion Magistrate is pressured to move the ISD2 in before they are ready to prove to outside money lenders that the Dominion can and will be a stable authority. The central government has increased the tax rate in all the Dominions by three percent.

Fighting Continues in 'Pró̱ti̱ Orthódoxi̱ Póli̱'

The Magistrate ordered the full deployment of IDS2 forces to Poppie town, it's new-found nickname. Most of the 'troopers' armed with only pistols they took heavy casualties from the seemingly reinforced Ortadex terrorists. Heavy machine gun emplacements led to the massacre of about thirty men trying to take one position. Fighting inside the city is intensifying as some IDS2 troops sneak into the city at night. A call to arms has been issued to any weapon-owning citizens of the dominion. The new Central tax keeps the Magistrate from forming a regular unit but the people are more than willing to defend themselves.

Mikhail had his RPG-7 pinpointed on a Mosque which had become a stronghold for Muslim resistors. He watched the missile careen threw the air as it finally made its mark on the left side of the building. Dropping the rocket launcher he picked up an AK-47 and ordered over his radio, government sanctioned. "Troops on the right move in, left troops open fire on the building." Mikhail was pinned down behind an abandoned car and returned fire when he could.

The troops on the right were making good progress until a tower-watcher spotted them and they were gunned down soon after. "Fucking christ, I've hit that thing three times." Mikhail complained as he rammed another rocket into the RPG-7 tube and zeroed in again on the tower. Bullets bounced all around him but he was finally able to get the shot off. The back-blast knocked his head into a metal post and he started building a bit. That didn't stop him from watching as the HE round impacted dead in the center of the tower, jerking it off the main structure of the building. He smiled as it fell off to the side, following by a plume of gray dust that covered the area. "Move up, now! This is our chance to get those dirty towelheads!"

The remaining Ortadex men moved forward, shooting off randomly into the dust. They took some return fire but without the high rise they were unable to return accurate fire. The first few men breached the door and soon Mikhail was behind them. A Muslim shot the man in front of him and he put that enemy down. Several 'invalids' ran across the balcony and setup a good position and clogged the doors with copious fire. Once another RPG-7 was brought to bare the opposition was broken. A few more magazines of ammunition and Mikhail was standing over seventeen dead un-pures.

'Food' Aid to the Town

The government sent in more trucks to the people of Poppie Town, but reports of the fighting inside the city have stopped and Ortadex terrorists do not seem to be taking any prisoners. There are several refugees recounting stories where these vile men killed babies and women in cold blood. The racial composition of this group is varied, despite expectation and age is also very wide. Some prominent Orthodox priests are praising this group as the fighting continues and use the words 'unforgiveables' to refer to the Muslims.

Thirty minutes after the government aid left Poppie Town artillery shells began falling, but not from IDS2 positions but from inside the city. The security forces are beginning to become disheartened but the first of the militia have arrived and are asking for an assault, some popular Imans are raising battalions and calling for a holy war. There are even accusations from popular presses that the government is supporting this group and moving heavier equipment threw the guise of food aid. Other splinter groups are popping out in other Dominions and calling themselves Ortadex brigades, but the validity this is hard to verify.
