After the Duke of Brandenburg (Cousin of the Kaiser), issued a statement about female rulers, mostly regarding Catherine II, the citizens of the world watched and waited while His Majesty's cousin challenged the throne of Royal Calathonia, and demanded a new ruler be put forth to the throne, or military intervention by the Kaiser would take place. The Kaiser stood along with his escort of S.S. Guards, on the front steps of the Capitol building. The Kaiser stood along with his escort of S.S. Guards, on the front steps of the Capitol building. The Empress's limousine arrived in front of the Reichstag building. The Empress herself then got out, wearing her Imperial Crown and Official Robes, walking up to the building along with twenty of her own Imperial Guardsmen.

The Kaiser wordlessly inclined his head, the other officials (except for the Duke) bowing. The Kaiser kissed her ring, and offered her his arm as the doors were pulled open, the press being kept at a manageable distance. "I trust your trip was...bearable?" The Kaiser asked, raising an eyebrow as the Duke scowled their way.

Her false smile was now a look of anger and distaste. She glared nastily at the Duke, who had a angry look on his face as well.

The Kaiser leaned over and whispered in her ear. "I suggest you remove that scowl form your face at once, we are trying to make a point that you are fit for rule..." He then placed a fake smile on his face and addressed the Duke. "As reigning Kaiser, I ask thee to stand forth and present your case, and reasons for going to war with Her Majesty's realm!"

The Duke shot up out of his seat and swept his Red cape behind him, moving to the Podium in the middle of the room. "Brothers!" He shouted, calming the applauding crowd. "I come to plead with you today, to implore you! This Queen, is inadvertently trying to incite rebellion and change from our esteemed traditions!" A shock of outrage erupted in the crowd, but the Kaiser slammed his golden gavel to quiet them. "I hear reports of women rallying to try and get a vote! A VOTE!" He repeated with disgust. :For years, the reigning family's have been trained from day one to rule their territories, you know this to be true..."

The Duke continued to incite the crowd, and with each word the Kaiser's face turned to a look of concern...

And second, even if I am a female monarch, I can still prove to you, my Lords, that I can rule my nation with a firm, but just and fair, hand. I can be just like all the male Emperors and Kings out there. I say that I am not inciting rebellion, but only leading my people to greatness and fair justice." She then sat down, hoping to have a effect in the crowd.

I had to execute, imprison, or exile more then twenty thousand rebels, plus three of my government officials, all for treason. I also had the town where the rebellion originated destroyed as well. It was horrible, but had to be done. I will still provide you support, if you need to."

The Kaiser rose to his feet, and held out his hand. "I have thought on it, and though you have your faults, you are no less a ruler than I am. I shall recognize you as an equal, and I think the people will as well if you show them you are not an ignorant Princess, but a wise Empress to be revered."

The Empress made a genuine smile and said "I thank you most graciously, Kaiser. And I will communicate to the people, that I am a wise and honest Empress. Although autocratic power will remain in my hands, I will instigate reforms, to strengthen the empire, improve the efficiency of government administration, and to consolidate my military."

The Kaiser smiled as well, and soon, the doors opened, and people flooded back in. Once they were seated, he stood and made the announcement. "It has been decided, that the Empress is fit to rule-"

"Blasphemy!" Roared the Duke, drawing a pistol. "I should have known! Temptress!" He squeezed the trigger, but not before the Kaiser threw himself in front of the bullet, the red hot bolt hitting him in the chest. Right then, the Guards stormed in, and let loose full automatic fire into the Duke, who was killed before he could finish his work and kill the Empress.

He tried to remain calm, but found himself praying as well, clutching his fathers cold hand. The work of the paramedics seemed to be working, and the Kaiser's eyes opened.

"Catherine..." He rasped, removing two rings from his fingers. "I pronounce you Duchess of Prussia, and in command until my sons Coronation." He tried to remain calm, but found himself praying as well, clutching his fathers cold hand. The work of the paramedics seemed to be working, and the Kaiser's eyes opened.

Anyways, she then took the ring the Kaiser had given her and provided it to the Archduke of Prussia, now Prince Regent, and soon to be Emperor, saying "I cannot bear the honor, of regent of your nation, as of now. I must return to Royal Calathonia, and as such, I bestow you that honor as well. May you reign well..." She then looked over the Kaiser's lifeless corpse once more and then left the room, still upset. She got into the limousine waiting for her, which drove to the airport.
