In Tahan on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010; a major burgeraly happened at the largest bank in Banoia. The suspect was Timothy Afrial Tortle. The authorities found him in a tool shed. Historians say that the property belonged to Tortle's grandparents. They died in 2003 and ever since then, the house was never used. Tortle is 28 and was sentenced to do ten years in prison.
Also in Tahan, an out-of-control fire happened on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010. The fire started at 6:30 at the headquartes of a major ink company called "Ink Inprium." The fire was caused by the heater. The day was bitter cold, so the turned the heater on high and suddenly the vents caught on fire. Authority did not come for help until 2:00 in the morning on Friday. One-fourth of the workers died and many more injured.
