Enter the Horde
The outer rims of the galaxy can be a dangerous place, and from the darkness of space comes a thread like no other. A horde of great size, strength and brutailty is approaching can you stop them? Or will you be the first step in a chain of destruction.
The Idea
Now me and two of my friends came up with the idea of running Ork nations, (Warhamer 40K gotta love it) now one of us has no experience with RPing on NS so if anyone accepts our idea I apologise incase he doesn't quite grasp it right of the bat but rather we set him on the path. Anyway on with the idea.
Okay well your nation is has some outposts on the outer rims of the galaxy, over the past weeks outposts have been going silent but no warning or distress has been recieved, so your reaction to these outposts is less than impressive as you may just suspect things such as mechanical faults or a warp storm or some shit. Now this is going to be one hell of a violent first contact after your mechanical team or scout party also goes dark than something is obivously up, but before you can react the horde arrives. Now all the fighting itself will take place planetside as we are using metorites as landing craft (Ork Roks). Once we come planetside slaughter mayhem etc will follow.
Place of arrival
A outter rim system. Quite simply put by the end of this thread the invaders will have complete control of this system as this is really the point of the thread, to have a staging point for future incrusions across the galaxy in a mighty WWWAAAGGGGHHHHH! SO IF YOU DONT WANT TO LOSE A SYSTEM THAN DONT APPLY THANK YOU.
Now I dont expect you to just roll over and die, as that would be a bit...dull. By all means the first landing zones will be overun quickly but we would like some kind of defence. After the system is overrun it would be obvious that there is no more stealth or stalkering in the shadows, the horde would have arrived. Once the thread is over you can decided to follow up try to push us back into dark space or just try to wipe us out before we spread......will you be a step or will you be the saviour of billions?
