Finally, the most important part of the ceremony had arrived. The Archbishop of Munster came in front of the Empress, and asked, the official oath: "Do you, Catherine II, Empress of Royal Calathonia promise, in the name of the Holy Trinity, Jesus, and of God, to govern your people with fairness, justice, and equality." Catherine said "By God's name, I promise to do so." The Archbishop then said "Do you promise to uphold, the ideals of this Empire and of our faiths." Catherine said, "By God's name, I promise to do so. So help me God." The Archbishop then went over, with the Imperial Steward handing him the Imperial Crown.

Catherine lowered her head in prayer. She prayed that the Empress would have a fruitful life, and be a good leader of Calathonia.

Empress Alice looked to her side to see President Catherine pray. She hoped she was alright. Her family had already done theirs. She promptly turned her thoughts back to Empress Catherine and sat looking forward. She witnessed the event of the handing over of the Imperial Crown, and found it magical.

Afterwards, he put the oil down, and took the Great Imperial Crown. Holding it right over Empress Catherine's head, the Archbishop said this, declaring this to all in attendance: "I crown the Catherine, Empress of Royal Calathonia, Queen of Brussia, Grand Duchess in Kylarnatia, Protectoress of Syvorji, Supreme Commander of the Forces, and Defender of the Faith." He then placed the Imperial Crown right on her head. Everybody clapped their hands, and all across the country, people watched and celebrated in awe. This was shown on television, broadcast on radio, printed in newspapers, even shown in movie theaters. He then handed her the Imperial Orb and Imperial Scepter, and she looked out formally at the audience.

The Kylarnatian Royal Family came towards The Empress, The Tsar and Empress kneeling before her, with Tsaraviech Kain sat on the floor infront of her with a smile on his face, showing respect. The Tsar and Empress then took small bits of the robes, kissed them, then stood up, picking up their son, gave her another respectful bow, then a smile.

President Catherine walked over to Empress Catherine, bowed, and put a candle that smelled of fresh limes at the Empress's feet.
"Long live Empress Catherine II!" She whispered.

IC: Price applauded along with everyone else when the ceremony ended. This had to be a momentous occasion in Royal Calathonia, and he was, of course, honored to be a part of it. Walking over to the Empress, he once again bowed his head in respect before saying "Congratulations, Your Highness."

Empress Catherine smiled at the Kylarnatian Tsar and Empress, and their son, acknowledging them. She also smiled at President Catherine. She also nodded to Ambassador Price. Anyhow, nobles came forward, including Lord Halifax, who bowed, kissed her robes, and said "Your Majesty." The Archbishop himself bowed and kissed her robe. Afterwards, the Imperial Steward and musicians began singing the Imperial Anthem:

The Empress herself, as well as Lord Halifax, sung the Imperial Anthem. Everybody in the room was singing it. People all across the country stopped and sang it as well, looking at their radios or televisions.

The Whole of Kylarnatia began to sing the anthem, as it was worded to them. They then sang the Kylarnatian Anthem, Silviers Wish, and the Royal Calathonian anthem once again.

Finally, with the anthem sung, a messenger announced to everyone "We shall proceed to the Great Dinner Room of the Imperial Palace, where the Coronation Banquet is being held." The Empress promptly got up, and she handed the Orb and Scepter back to the Archbishop, who in turn gave it to the Imperial Steward, who began putting it back away. The Empress walked into the primary limo, along with Lord Halifax, the Chamberlain, and the Seal Bearer. The limo then drove to the Palace, followed by a massive procession of sedans, limousines, and honorary carriages.

"Wonderful, anyone who becomes an ally of Royal Calathonia, is an ally of Kylarnatia!" She smiled, and her son giggled. Her husband, Tsar Yuri, also smiled.

The procession began traveling towards the palace. At the palace, in the Great Dinner Room, the tables had already been prepared. The proper silverware, napkins, and bowls with honey-bread (basically bread with honey) were laid out. The servants were standing by, ready to serve. All the food had been cooked. There would be nearly 1,000 guests at the banquet. These would include government officials, nobles, rulers of the provinces, minor diplomats, the foreign diplomats of course, and representatives from certain interest groups or prominent writers, artists, and local politicians.

"Yes.... it seems Kylarnatia is internally tied to Royal Calathona," Catherine remarked.
