Imperial Coronation (OVER, CLOSED)

[Royal Calathonia]

On 28 June 2012, just a couple of days before her purported coronation, Empress Elizabeth I had been deposed from power by Assistant Labor Minister Catherine Alexeyviena, who had become Catherine II, Empress of Royal Calathonia. Anyways, the Great Patriotic War with Syvorji, which began the day after, delayed a coronation for Catherine. However, Royal Calathonia, with the assistance of it's ally Kylarnatia, won the war, defeating Syvorji, and, after more events, imposing the Treaty of Traflagarsburg on them. The treaty had reduced Syvorji's territory, handed over large portions of it's northern lands to Royal Calathonia and Kylarnatia, reduced it's military, and extracted financial compensation. Anyways, by then it was 19 August. As such, Catherine II has decided to have her own Coronation, on 12 September. Soon, invitations would be sent out.

President Catherine Kiola woke up, and found that she had been drooling all over her bed. She was in a private jet, headed for Royal Calathonia, for the coronation for Empress Catherine II. An invitiation had been sent to her earlier than everyone else, because Catherine was in jeopardy of being assualted by terrorists. The plane was in mid-flight, and Catherine had had a good nap. A long plane ride was ahead...

President Catherine Kiola woke up, and found that she had been drooling all over her bed. She was in a private jet, headed for Royal Calathonia, for the coronation for Empress Catherine II. An invitiation had been sent to her earlier than everyone else, because Catherine was in jeopardy of being assualted by terrorists. The plane was in mid-flight, and Catherine had had a good nap. A long plane ride was ahead...

At the Imperial City International Airport, the air controllers were preparing themselves. They knew planes from foreign nations would be flooding in, to attend the coronation. They remained by hand to admit them in.

A message broadcasted over the plane's speakers:
"We are now beginning our descent towards Imperial City International Airport,"
Catherine immidiately jumped out of her bed, and proceeded to straighten her hair, and change into a white blouse and a green skirt. ( As was tradition in Kioyoto when someone visited a foreign nation.)
"This is Lime Force 3, permission to land at Imperial City International Airport?" The pilot spoke into his radio.

Indeed, Kylarnatia had aided Royal Calathonia in the Great Syvorjian War. They had also helped them in various other matters. On hearing of the coronation, Kylarnatia started a mass celebration. As being a Grand Duchess of Kylarnatia, she was apart of the family.

We will have small matters to discuss, but for the most part, we shall be celebrating your glorious assent to the throne.

Kylarnatian Flight 213, carrying the Royal Family of Kylarnatia was making its way towards Imperial City. The piolet contacted the air tower.
"This is Kylarnatian Flight 213 requesting for landing, over."

"Shall we proceed to Gate 5?" The Tsar asked his wife with a smile.
"We shall." Empress Alice smiled as they both began to proceed with Gate 5.

Lime Force 3 landed on runway Airstrip 48, safely and smoothly. The aircraft then proceeded to Gate 4, and President Kiola was escorted of the plane by her armed guards. She sat down at the gate's lobby, waiting for someone of Royal Blood, or a goverment official.

The air controller got up again and said "Kylarnatian Flight 213. You are hereby granted permission to land. Please land on Airstrip 47, and proceed to Gate 5."

The piolet answered back and landed on Airstrip 47, infront of Gate 5. The doors opened and out exited Tsar Yuri Volte Hyuga, who took the fair hand of his wife, Empress Alice Hyuga, who was also carrying the baby Tsaraviech Kain Albert Hyuga, who smiled happily.
"Shall we proceed to Gate 5?" The Tsar asked his wife with a smile.
"We shall." Empress Alice smiled as they both began to proceed with Gate 5.

At Gate 5, was a sixty-eight year old man, who was waiting. His name was Lord Edward Halifax. Halifax had been a government official for forty-three years, since the age of twenty-five. He had started as a intern, and then became a diplomatic assistant. His brilliance and efficiency at his work had got him promoted to a member of the Imperial Commission of External Trade. He had worked hard at this as well, and became a Assistant Minister of Labor. He worked even harder, rising to the position of Chancellor and Lord Commissioner. Anyhow, Lord Halifax adjusted his glasses and walked towards Tsar Hyuga, Empress Hyuga, and their little son. Halifax bowed his head, and then said, in his British accent, "Hello Your Majesties, and Your Highness. I am Lord Edward Halifax, Chancellor of Royal Calathonia, Lord Commissioner of the Court, and Minister of the Chancellory. I am also Viscount of Halifaxsburg and Prince of Brussia. I am here to greet you."

Of course, Gate 4 was next to Gate 5, where the Kylarnatian royal family had disembarked. A man came to President Kiola and her guards, leading them to Gate 5.

"Well, hello! I proceed to believe that you're Empress Alice?" Said President Catherine, while vigirously shaking the woman's hand.

Lord Halifax stood there, noticing President Kiola talking with Empress Alice. The elderly man waited patiently.

With Otto and Elizabeth soon to be executed, and Ferdinand in exile on our islands, there is nothing that can hold Catherine back." Tsar Hyuga smiled as he answered Halifax.

Empress Alice answered President Catherine.
"Its wonderful to meet you, thanks for the wonderful handshake. But I believe we should turn our attention to Lord Halifax." Empress Alice smiled.

"Yes, you are right. I've always wanted to meet you in real life however...." Catherine murmured. "And I believe your name is Lord Halifax?" She then proceeded to shake his hand.

Anyhow, the elderly Lord adjusted his glasses, also shaking President Catherine's hand, and said, to President Catherine, Empress Alice, and Tsar Hyuga "Your Excellencies, please follow me out of this airport." He then pointed towards a waiting limousine.

"Yes, you are right. I've always wanted to meet you in real life however...." Catherine murmured. "And I believe your name is Lord Halifax?" She then proceeded to shake his hand.

"Well it is a pleasure to know that, we can talk more during the celebrations." Empress Alice smiled once more. Tsaraviech Kain giggled.
"Yes, they will go peaceful." Tsar Yuri smiled to Lord Halifax

The Royal Kylarnatian Family then followed Lord Halifax towards the limo and stepped in.

President Catherine quietly followed Lord Halifax into the limousine... she rather uncomftorable with these new people. It was like... Catherine wasn't in the circle.

Lord Halifax was in the limo, and he saw Tsar Hyuga, Empress Alice, their child, as well President Catherine, come into the car besides him. Hopefully, with everyone in, the door was closed, and Halifax told the driver "Take us to the Imperial Palace." The driver said "Yes, Sir." and promptly began driving towards the palace.

"Oh well, I'm rather tired," Catherine replied, while blushing.

[Kylarnatia]

"So, Lord Halifax, how is Empress Catherine feeling. She was very tired from all the buisness when my wife left her." Tsar Yuri spoke to Lord Halifax in a very formal manner.

Meanwhile Empress Alice spoke with President Catherine.
"Are you? I guess you deal with alot of buisness. Luckily I'm used to it." Empress Alice smiled, noticing her blush, but didn't mention it.

"So, Lord Halifax, how is Empress Catherine feeling. She was very tired from all the buisness when my wife left her." Tsar Yuri spoke to Lord Halifax in a very formal manner.

Meanwhile Empress Alice spoke with President Catherine.
"Are you? I guess you deal with alot of buisness. Luckily I'm used to it." Empress Alice smiled, noticing her blush, but didn't mention it.

Lord Halifax said to Tsar Yuri "The Empress is doing fine. In fact, she is very well. I think a surge of nervousness overcame her, that's all." He then looked out the window, as the limo drove through the beautiful and modern city.

"Yes, it is very challenging to handle a population when you're being invaded by terrorists," Catherine replied. It was true. Kioyoto at that very moment was under an invasion.

[Kylarnatia]

"I'm sorry to hear that..." Empress Alice patted President Catherine lightly on the back, to show support. Meanwhile, Tsar Yuri continued to talk to Lord Halifax. He also looked out to the city.

"My sons maid, Mairead, was right. When she brought him here for Elizabeths coronation, she told us how beautiful this place was. And indeed it is. You wouldn't feel far from home if you came to Kylarnatia." Tsar Yuri smiled.
