Now, I am just going to add that I have already changed the membership list and have created the former member list. I gave plenty of time for everyone to participate in the member call up. This move was necessary, as we cannot carry around dead weight.

As General Secretary, I wish to inform our comrades that there is nothing to worry about. Surely it is important that we adjust ourselves so that we can best protect the international proletariat and guard ourselves against reactionary thought? So far, we have already purged our ranks of those who did not have the will to join us when we so needed them. These new revisions only serve to empower the ruling bodies so they can properly serve their role, as well as ensure that certain nations with anti-socialist institutions do not get it. A look at our recent past would remind you that we recently had an embarrasing incident where we discovered that a member was a slave state. This will not happen again with our revisions.

kk, I'll join the forum ASAP.

Also, what is the pact's view regarding Stalin? Last I checked y'all were saying he's a bad guy...but he wasn't a bad guy....well maybe he was a bad guy....kind of.

But yeah, I could hook y'all up with a guy on here who has a link to the REAL statistic from the Gulag+Purges. Is not the twenty plus million the west preaches but more like five to seven hundred thousand. Still a lot of people, but lots less than the OMG GENOCIDE everyone normally is directed to.

For the reccord I use this site a lot for my Marxist Leninist debates. Is pretty good. Also in my sig you see my recent reading which as increased my almost fetish for Russia into some kind of burning passion. So yeah, just rambling now.

Also, goal for the Pact and NS (with this nation) is to spread and indoctrinate other nations/parties/w/e in Marxism-Leninism so prepare to be indoctrinated! Trots amongst you, I apologize for what is coming.

Mostly IC Communist btw, my OOC Marxism-Leninism-Jeffersonism-Militarism-Americanism-sexyism is left to my other nations/real life.

OOC: I am actually aware that Stalin was not bad as many say and personnally feel that he did quite a lot of good for Russia, despite those who suffered during his period in power. As for the varying stance on Stalinism, it is a reflection of the mix of players that are present. For example, my nation considers pure Marxism-Leninism to be the socialist ideal and I'm actually quite far left in OOC beliefs, while we also have members who are moderate social democrats.

My primary concern has always been to have an alliance that is lots of OOC fun to be in and is roughly in the same ideological area as mine as to avoid internal conflict. Given that fact, I actually moved away from ideological purity when I created this version of the pact so that I could accept more quality RPers. I've tightened up a bit, since I feel there are potential problems with too much variety. At the same time, my priority will always be to push this alliance into being something that members like being a part of. I feel there is plenty of work to do regarding that objective.

OOC: Abruzi, I think your experience from your Conglomerate membership will be useful. At the same time, we will have a problem finding appropriate rivals to fight. The Steel Pact has recently imploded and the fight against slavery has winded down a bit, partially because slavers aren't that willing to fight the anti-slavery coalition.

OOC: George is correct. There was a reason behind me choosing to use the word imploded over imploding. There probably will be some remnant organisation soon enough for you to torment, but the main steel pact is gone.
