OOC: While I hate cluttering like this I must state that I'm in agreement with Osea. I stumbled upon it the other day while it was still on page 2 or 3. There really isn't much there to respond to, poor rp quality as stated. Osea and I (just to be self promoting XD) easily outnumber the populations of those nations combined (since I last checked) and outclass in rp ability. While in truth our mission iccly is to protect the rights of the proletariat everywhere this type of situation oocly is more or less a waste of time.

How bad is the economic situation in your nation? The banking crisis has hit Votria hard as its still developing economy is growing. The nation's economy was stagnant until the current party (which won another election yesterday) came into power. They managed to kick start the economy and it began to develop and the party began spending vast amounts on welfare. However, the banking crisis almot led to the economy going backwards so the party took strict action and managed to limit the damage. However, the country is now running a deficit but the party does not wish the frontline services and public welfare it provides to be harmed. They also do not wish to raise taxes as this would only slow down the economic recovery.
Therefore, Vostria asks for 8 billion Ðener's in order to gve to the banks in order to allow them to lend to the business. Also the money shall be used to pay for the states welfare in order to stp the deficit growing.

The system that our Juche-Socialist Union abides by dictates as follows: The Union operates all programs itself (i.e. business', education, health care, etc.), the Union does excercise foreign relations, however it generally handles all economic matters independently and without foreign meddling, the people are given may civil rights and freedoms, however if laws are broken, severe punishments come in effect and rights are tightened for those individuals.



OOC: The whole "Juche-Marxist" thing is mainly a namesake. The Union does not practice many Juche or Marxist ideals, it is simply to attract fellow socialist/communist alligence.

OOC: Basically elections for Chairman of the Juche-Socialist Korean Union are held once the previous chairman has died. So the position is held for the duration of the persons life, and once elections come around, several different left-wing political parties produce candidates, and the people vote. So it's fairly democratic, it's just voting only happens two or three times in a citizens life.

OOC: Probationary membership in your case is only being applied because you do not meet the 50 million population requirement for normal membership. You still get protection from the pact and can observe and express yourself in pact matters. However, you do not get the right to vote. Your role playing skills are quite good, so I can assure you that you will immediately get full pact membership once your population hits our required level. That should happen soon enough.
