OOC: This is my first attempt at an RP so constructive critiscism would be welcome.

Zolt Retuka, leader of Stuffed Taxidermists sat at his desk in the Grand Palace, rubbing his forehead. A telegram had been sent to him from the Cannibal movement in the South, West and North of Stuffed Taxidermists, and he was conerned it would be bad news. There had been an open war going on between the Cannibals and Non Cannibals ever since the creation of the Nation, but The Non Cannibals always had the advantage due to The Cannibals being harassed by mutated beings known as Zombies (they are not real zombies, but humans mutated in a nuclear accident). But no more. It seemed that the Cannibals had gotten rid of the dwindling Zombie population, and now had their eyes set on the rest of the nation. But he couldn't know for sure untl he read the letter. He called his two ministers and 25 aides into the room, and they all stood silently as Retuka read the letter from the Cannibals.

To the ever not-eaten yet leader of the Non Cannibals of Stuffed Taxidermists,
You probably already know that we have defeated the Zombies. Or maybe you are dumber than i thought. Anyhow, you and i both know that the cannibal population and milltary far outnumber the Non Cannibal millitary and popluation. We also have much more land than you. After the defeat of the Zombies, we have decided that this is the perfect time to invade you. We have recently gained more weapons from an illgegal arms dealer, and now almost all of our soldiers are equipped with dangerous weapons. I hope that you are prepared for war. We will start with killing all of your stationed troops in our land. Then we will kill the people they protect. Then we will eat them. And then we will come for you.

Retuka looked up from the letter. 'Deploy all soldiers, now! I want the whole country on alert, everything locked down. Bring back every soldier stationed in other countries. We have to try and get those soldiers ourt of there before it all starts!' he shouted. The nation of Stuffed Taxidermists was in trouble.
Zolt Retukas statement to the world: Please, nations of the world, help us fight off these terrible cannibals. They want to destroy everything that is good an holy in our nation. All our citizens will be killed brutally. Help us keep that from happening.

Denzel Aiasens statement to the world: Greetings nations of the world. A long time ago, these no cannibals took our lands from us. We have not got them back. We have been forced to liv e in our own mess for many generations. We are sick of it. We ask for your help defeating these no cannibals and gainign back what is ours. Do not beleive what they say about us. We do not eat innocent citizens. We only eat criminals and soldiers that started attacking us before we attacked them. Help us make Stuffed Taxidermists better. As of now, travel between Stuffed Taxidermists and Maxedon has been cut off. Phoenix Emperor Max Emboss has officially released information about his support for the Anti-Cannibals. Task Force Charlie 42 is being deployed to the waters around Stuffed Taxidermists, offering a safe haven if the Cannibals seize the whole country.

The MXN Pride and it's fleet of 42 ships arrived at one of the last anti-cannibal ports. Once there, they started shipping weapons to the remaining governmental forces. Next, three stealthy F/A-37 Talon III went hypersonic for 2 minutes, quickly getting to the front lines.

When Zolt Retuka heard the Anti Cannibal movement had support from Maxedon, he was happy. His aides and minsters had been working around the clock to find out how many men the cannibals had, and how many planes and weapons they had. But things were not loking good. The aides had not found out how many men the cannibals had, but it was known they outnumbered The Anti Cannibals 4:1. The supplies from Maxedon were helping, and the Anti Cannibals had manged to arm and put most of their reserves on alert. It was going to be a long, hard war.

Meanwhile, on the border, it was absolute chaos. Explosions filled the air wherever you were, and many standoffs were happening between the cannibals and the Anti Cannibals. A few Cannibals could be seen eating dead Anti Cannibals. In a small anti Cannibal village called Teritun, Anti Cannibal soldiers tried to hld off the Cannibals for as long as they could before reinforcements arrived. The leader of these soldiers was Adrian Wenzel. 'They're coming from all sides!' he shouted to his men. He picked up his TAR-21 and got a quick headshot on a cannibal who was tucking into one of the dead soldiers. 'Move! Move! Move!' he shouted. He and five of his men dived towards the vehciles the Cannibals had come in. 'Destroy the cars so they can't get out when the reinforcements arrive!' he shouted to the five men 'I'll cover you!'. He ran into the nearest house and set up the only Sniper Rifle the whole squadron had. By that time the cannibals had sighted what the soldiers were doing. BOOM! one car was gone. Adrian lined a Cannibal in his sights. He got a Headshot and watched his target fall to the ground. He got another shot. He missed. That was a costly mistake, as the cannibals found where he was. Two peeled off from their group, heading toward s the building, AK 47's blazing. Adrian ducked down from the window just as a shot wouldve killed him whizzed into the room. he couldnt go down the stairs, or hed bump into the cannibals. So he jumped out the window. then he heard a loud noise. Planes. The Maxedonians had arrived.

An F/A-37 flying CAP saw the action in the village below. He quickly dived. He armed several of his AGM's and fired a volley at the cannibal line, devastating it with great explosions. In the smoke, he used the cannon on his Talon and unloaded.

The Pride had several weapons on it. But one, a Tomahawk launcher, was especially effective. The short Maxedonian-Belknian War demonstrated the wonderful uses of the Tomahawk. The cruise missile had effectively destroyed the Belknian leadership, and with a tactical nuclear warhead attached, it destroyed the Belknian economy. Now, it would be fielded for the same purpose. Using spy sattelites, they had located cannibal warlords and leaders. They launched, and arced over cannibal territory and hit their targets.

Along with Tomahawks, Fifteen stealthy B-3 bombers started carpeting the enemy lines.

'Hell Yeah!' shouted Adrian as the Maxedonian plane attacked the Cannibals. It looked like this village would stay under Non Cannibal control. He put it ourt on the radio for everyone to group together and wipe out the remaining Cannibals in the village .They were in full flight. Apart from a few rounds of AK-47 fire and one kill by the cannibals, that was the end of that battle. Adrian contacted cotnrol and they said they would be sending 5 troop transports to take them to another village straight away. It appeared that other squads weren't having the luck they were.

'What's the situation?' asked Zolt Retuka when he entered the room after a toilet break. 'Well sir, we have kept control of the village of Teritun, but we are losing the Villages of Reun and Guntoz.' said one aide, pointing places out on the map. 'If we lose anymore men in these villages, we are going to have to pull out and try to defend the East from inavsion.but we have a simple planwe are going to deploy a squadron of special forces behind the advancing Cannibals and attack while theyre on the move' he continued. Retuka nodded. Suddenly one of the aides rushed into the room. 'Sir, the special forces are about to depart. Retuka rushed outside to the landing pad behind the Grand Palace. 'Good luck boys' he said as the helicopters with the men on them departed.

Once the town cannibals were destroyed, more than 300,000 Maxedonian Marines moved onto the front lines and started invading the cannibal-captured sections of Stuffed Taxisdermists. First, a carrier group with eighteen F/A-37's invaded the Northern coast, then the Southern side of occupied lands.

The four Stuffed Taxidermists helicopters flew through the air silently. The Cannibals bellow them could not see or hear them. They landed silently in a clearing behind the Cannibals, and split into four groups of fifty. If they could suprise and destory these Cannibals, the war would be in their favour. they laoded their P-90's and moved in. The convoy was large but ill equipped, and the Special Forces men hid in the bushes. Finally the whole progression had passed, and at the very back was the bulk of the Cannibals milltatry forces. Then the Commandos just fired. Chaos erupted. Almost 200 Cannibals were killed in the first minute. They didn't expect the attack and they were completely helpless with thier weapions, but their numbers helped and a steady supply of Non Cannibal death came in. In a few minutes it turned into a bloodfest, with soldiers firing forom behind turned over trucks and such. 'This is Squadron 34, calling all allied forces. We need reinforcemnts NOW!' shouted the squadron leader into his radio.

The 2,000 Marines awaiting deployment heard the Stuffed Taxidermists call for help. They immeadietly left for the area. Upon seeing the Anti-Cannibal forces, they landed. The Marines backed up the SpecOps with Missile Humvees and battle-hardened Marines. Three A-10's also flew over and devastated the area with DU and AGM fire.

Our task force is now in range of your enemies. We have two squads of fighter bombers and fighters on station. Give the co-ordinates and we will strike.

This is from Maychian High command: The ground assault force will only be mobilized if the situation becomes unstable and it appears that the cannibals are gaining the upper hand. Aerial insertions will be used for deep penetration strikes, though a port would be very helpful.

We are heading for an anti-cannibal held port, where we shall make anchor and begin unloading our medically trained personnel and making our hospital and infirmary areas accessible to those injured in the conflict.

The converted, if ageing, luxury liner Good Hope steamed into the anti-capital port, ready to begin bringing assistance to the beleaguered citizens of Stuffed Taxidermists, supply convoy's would be dispatched en-route towards battle zones to bring supplies and set up on-field medi-sites; those who required more intensive care would be brought back to the hospital ship itself.

The First Fleet Strike Group was prepped with bombs, food, and ammo, as well as weapons to defend from small fast attack boats. The Defense Systems were tested and within the day the First Fleet was dispatched to the region. It would take the fleet three days to arrive to Stuffed Taxidermists. But this provided opportunity so the fleet could make sure that it's aircraft was in top working condition, and the pilots were ready for combat.

(OOC: WOAH!!! Came here, looked good, then did some reading. Some of these invasion posts are ridiculous - I mean, come on! How are you just randomly landing a force of 300 000 men instantly in one case, or just having a massive army/air group arrive in such a short space of time? Could some people please read the sticky notes with regards to the roleplaying. Stuffed Taxidermists... love the premise for the whole thing, just a shame that loads of people had stormed the thread and ruined it with the whole "I send x hundred thousand men and roll through the place killing everyone". I would personally recommend that you tell those players politely (via telegram, or in the thread if necessary) to either sort their act out or to clear off. It's your thread though, so your choice. The normal etiquette for roleplaying is that you give an indication of what your taskforce being sent compromises of, how it's getting there, and put a bit of realism there. In actual combat, you post what your men are doing/planning to do, pre-empting the fact that the defender may be able to slip in a counter-attack before your men start. It only works if you're willing to spend more than 5 seconds posting, willing to be realistic about troop deployments, and willing to accept losses. And if you can write in legible, free-flowing sentences, that always helps.)

Patrol SNP-8872 - A couple hundred kilometres south of "Stuffed Taxidermists"

The group of three vessels cut slowly through the undulating waves, headed towards their goal in the distant horizon. A routine naval patrol, keeping the sea-lanes clear of criminals between two of the Fegosian colonies: New Alfegos, and Tho'lara. Not a very busy shipping route by all accounts, but the occasional vessel did use it. It wound far away from many land masses that were normally, in the eyes of the military crews, irrelevant. Aboard the lead vessel, a small frigate, the Captain sat in his office in conversation with his two colleagues, aboard the second frigate and smaller corvette. The two frigates had marines aboard - aeromarines, to be pendantic, and their officers in charge were sitting in on proceedings over the radio net.
"Report from HQ reference the nation Stuffed Taxidermists. Civil instability has been reported in the nation, and as normal there's been a rush to support either side, and claim land in the nation as victors evidently. As it is, the situation on the ground is that two factions are busy slugging it out of each other. Our mission is to loiter offshore and observe, and act as a channel in diplomacy if high command so deems necessary. As such, I recommend changing course immediately, to hang outside territorial waters - shall we say 25km? From there, we can sit in on telecommunications and radio messages, and get a good idea of the situation as it is unfolding. If we are attacked, we report it to high command and return appropriate fire to cover our withdrawal. No heroics."
"Any idea of an ETA? And comms?"
"Six hours, if we change course over the next hour period. In terms of comms, ensure that they are kept low profile, alongside light discipline. And make sure the Fegosian flag is flying - don't want any friendly-fire incidents. LF or directed microwave for chatter from now on."
"Are the aeromarines going to be utilised?"
"Only if they are needed to escort small boats ashore or to our vessels. Otherwise, they will be staying in a defensive role. Alert status will rise for them in three hours time, so give them some forewarning."
"Excellent."

The briefing was swift, and now the various Captains would be moving on to brief their crews. Minutes later, the course of the vessels started straying slightly, as they moved towards the nation torn by war.

OOC:Alfergos, i've had a fleet here way before everyone else came. So, I've had time to shuttle supplies and troops to support the anti-cannibals.

The Maxedonian Northern Force had landed at "Aezeth" beach and "Slavian" beach. They were being peppered by pillboxes. "We need air support NOW! We've got men dying here!" Seargant Brett Dran yelled into his radio. Then, four Tomahawks slammed into the pillboxes at the same time as the Talons picked off the rest.

Several ships approached an unnamed harbor. This would serve as a naval base for the Maxedonian Southern Force. It was the dead of night. The Missile Cruiser [i]Barrage[/i approached undetected. Suddenly, Tomahawks flew from the ship and hit cannibal positions. After the first wave, all seven of the Missile Cruisers started pounding away, but because it was the dead of night, the results were unkown, until the NVG's were brought out. The NVG's showed massive pillars of smoke, fire, and the retreating cannibals. They landed marines and took the harbor.

OOC: Alfergos, I'm not using real time, if you're referring to me. I find that if I use real time, I end up forgetting whatever I wrote previously. >< And also because when I used real time previously, most of the time people forget about my posts.

(OOC - I saw sweet nothingness when it came to describing any sort of timescale. I don't use real time either, but I use a realistic progression of time (rather than the rather boring jumping straight to troops coming out of your ears). The other problem with just jumping straight to the troops landing is it shows that you are definitely not in this for any sort of quality roleplay - you don't even give the other side an attempt to counter your movements (which in reality is very true - as soon as you're sighted, you've got all hell to enjoy from long-range missile assets). Maxedon, at the same time as claiming you've had a fleet here for ages (and do please define ages - again, I've read through this thread, and little mention of time or mention of logistical order is made, save the casual "oh a bomber" or "oh a missile cruiser"), you're also assuming that you can just waltz in and take the harbour, and assuming the layout of the areas you are attacking. It is impolite to play the opposing side. Maychion, there is a telegram function in terms of reminding people that there's a post. People won't forget if you make a noise about it.)

'Dammit!' shouted Denzel Aisasen. He slammed his fist on a table. He was in his underground bunker where he had been for the whole engagement, commanding his troops. The sound of plane engines could be heard above, in the air and gunshots and explosions could also be heard. 'How can we be losing?!!' he shouted chucking random things all over the place. His Cannibal advisor spoke softly, 'Sir, i think we need to evacuate'. Aiasen nodded. 'They're going to overwhelm us' he said. Another advisor spoke up 'But sir, we've killed over 250,000 Stuffed Taxidermists and their supporters'.
'I DO NOT CARE HOW MANY WE HAVE KILLED!!! WE HAVE LOST 2 MILLION MEN GOD DAMMIT!!' Aiasen yelled, punching the advisor. 'Sir, we need to sneak out of this city to one of the ports. We have a luxury yacht stationed at Gunho Port.' said the First cannibal Advisor, clearly rattled. Aiasen nodded once more.

OOC: I think Alfeos does have a point.The only thing that i properly have a problem with is Maxedon just magicly lding 300,000 Marines. Maybe downgrade that to 50,000 Troops or something and that would be a lot better. Thanks for the critiscism Alfeos, it is appreciated.
