He had been given a name. He had been named and given a task yet he was not the king only he and the king had names or at least among the males. He had been told to impress and awe the visitors. He had been told to welcome them and establish relations to show them and those watching that Agua Incendia was a planet to be revered and respected and to do this they had given him a name...Tsuma...with this name was the responsibility to please the queen or die. Well die but only by his own hand to fail the queen was to die. Tsuma turned to face the blacked out window with his back to the door.

Whether or not the representatives came in their own ship or the Incendians shuttle they are greeted the same. The leaders and representatives were greeted by two large Incendians dressed in heavy metal suits that shimmered as though seen through a heat haze. The shuttle port that you are in has no windows and is completely sealed. The heat in the room is roughly 89 degrees farenheit and there us absolutely no humidity one of the escorts says in a computerized voice "this way please." he gestures to a pair of doors that opens to reveal an elevator.

None of the leaders has seen the planet yet.

Psychotic Dictatorship

Postby Dimoniquid » Thu Oct 28, 2010 5:29 pm

Alex had looked at the screen of the dreadnought with one shoulder forward, and the other backwards, adopting the pose as his own. "Commander, set a course for the dock."

"Aye, sir." The commander said, pressing some pads, accelerating the ship forward. It was important to call the ruler a 'sir', mainly because they were an admiral, not because they were royalty.

"Commander, you have the bridge as soon as I leave." He said, nodding to the commander, and the commander replying with a nod. After Alex had left for a pelican, he had several marines arm themselves with submachine guns, pistols, and stun batons. "Bridge, report."

"We've arrived at a safe distance - we've sent the transmission, and have clearance. See you when you get back, sir." The commander radioed back, sitting in Alex's chair and nodding at several people.

The pelican took off from the hanger, the pilot holding the controls, reversing and landing in the airlock. "That's as far as we have clearance, sir."

"Good work, pilot. Follow me." He ordered, hands behind his back. He ended up in the room, making out some vague figures. This way, please. "Indeed." He said, ordering his men in a line to follow him. As they reached the elevator, their site regained. "Up we go. Or down." He said, making someone chuckle.

Rather than take a shuttle, like most sapients, Sunitreiye preferred a more memorable entrance. A soft humming would signal the entrance of a long, externally barbed tendril, made of metal and segmented excessively. It doesn't saw through the port's side per se, as it is only wide enough to fit the tavan inside it. Rather it simply pushes the space containing the wall aside and replaces it with its own, its conical head opening to disgorge the shining emerald creature in a fit of cryogenic fluid and water.

It stands, brushes the clear oily substance off of itself, and looks around. It is dressed entirely in navy blue, with black and white face paint and slits all down its robe to reveal its polished scales.

The creature's name is Sunitreiye. While not really the leader of the Tavan Race, the actual one is busy elsewhere, and the FRM is usually considered an acceptable substitute.

Outside the hangar, Sunitreiye's ship hovers, with the long tendril-like appendage she crawled through to get to her current position beginning to retract. It has its MD aimed at the planet's surface, directly connected to a little machine pulsing rhythmically. It, in its turn, counts the pulsing heartbeats of its diminutive passenger, now conversing with the other diplomats in the shuttle port.

Just in case anything funny were to happen.

In a perverse way, the highly dangerous weapon trained on the Incendians' homeworld is a compliment, as tavan diplomats normally traveled unarmed. The rather high security, which the Aguan military had no doubt realized by now, signifies a respect for the species and an acknowledgment of their power.

Then again, they would have to be idiots to use any of it.

Sunitreiye greets the drones warmly and with formality, even though she knows they couldn't care less. _sáves á táu savarín shé dethvási,_ she says serenely to each in turn, giving both a slight bow. _zh'ána'yo sunitréiye dí áneiwheri._

She notices the rather imposing human figure, as well, and turns to greet it. _why hello. my name is sunitreiye. what may i call you?_

One of the guards looked into the shuttle containing the other diplomats. He withdrew and a nnounced "It appears the others have either fallen asleep or died, probaly teh first but as they are they will not participate in the following. If the Tavan Diplomat would be so kind as to step into the elevator we will proceed with introductions." The voice came from a small box on the neck of the guard as normal citizen could not talk. Gesturing to the elevator the guard waited paitently for the Tavan.

Tsuma waited, the other diplomats must have not followed the plan. He had intended for the diplomats to arrive without their own space craft however it mattered not as they did not plan to attack any of the members of any party. He paced as he waited. This whole waiting period was an inconvienience to the queen. He hated the diplomats for being an inconvience but decided it would be more of an inconvienice if he lost his temper. He adjusted his black outfit and continued to wait. He must please the queen and he had been given his name and the abilities to do it...He Could Not Fail.

Sunitreiye does as asked and steps into the elevator, still looking at the human for a response of some sort.

The guards stayed outside the lift door and waited there. The lift moved upwards in a dimly lot silence, as the lift ground to a stop a pair of doors opened to reveal a small incendian. The incendian, dressed in completely black attire that billowed and steamed slightly, whirled face the troop of foreigners.
Hello and welcome to the grand planet of Incendia. I am Tsuma and I will be guiding you through the vast and awesome land of my origins. as he said this the walls of the circular room began to brighten and reveal the surrounding landscape. Volcanoes and lava flows as far as the eye could see. Heat waves billowed around everything and the noxious fumes in the atmosphere wavered and swirled around molten covered peaks. I am going to be you escort through this land. I will be the one to lead you through the Land of the Burning Sky!! As Tsuma finished his sentence he raised his wings and finished his sentence by turning to face them and as he turned there was a faint rumble. The rumble grew to a roar and as the roar crescendoed a volcano erupted several hundred miles behind Tsuma. It blew nearly six miles into the air and blasted the rom with a heat wave followed by a shock wave.

Sunitreiye hardly flinches, appearing pretty much unfazed by the wave of heat.

Inside the thin, highly insulative layers of her suit, her computer registers the heat wave as little more than a blip. Her suit is capable of handling much higher temperatures than this, and short bursts of heat barely have any effect at all.

The shock wave is compensated for less effectively, however she manages to avoid being blown away entirely by digging the metal additions to her claws into the floor, creating a set of three inch long tears.

Standing, she replies, _hokuerikada dramesi. vil nesevairsi, hok'm'alai an'ya?_

Tsuma ignored the Tavan's remark on the dramatic air of the eruption as he thought that it was rather obvious. However regarding the Tavan's question as to whether the eruption was natural or not he said, "The occurrence of the eruption was there when it was needed, it's origin is of no consequence."
This was not going as well as he had anticipated. The Tavan appeared unimpressed if not irked. He must please the queen but how!?

"The planet of Incendia is not one for the inferior," he said again turning his back to the leaders, "I will be able to show you what you would wish to know about our planet but if you prove weak or fragile." he pulled out a flower and crushed it in his hand, "you will not make it past the exiting of the hanger," he then opened his hand to allow he ashes of he flower that had been cooked by his body temperature fall to the floor. "Any questions?"
