"Alright!" he said, the delegates silenced "First off, if you use ten ships, you are generally going to have more crew, are you an idiot? that has to be the most obvious statement in human existance. an Ulthranian Naval Commander could have defeated those two vessels with only five of these so-called "Valor" cruisers. Mr Roberts, correct me on this, but do you remember the Traddus Manuever, used against your navy in the Ulthranian-Britannian War." he paused. "it's not the ship, it's the crew ladies and gentlemen. Now let us finish this and with whatever sum of money, I will take this and place it into the appropriate defense applications. I and I alone will formulate battlegroups and with what kinds of naval force. I will not render the SEC Navy to two ship battle-groups!"
He looked to the Itailian:
"And look, the Itailian likes to come here on his own accord, that's nice, but you are coming back with the entirety of the group after today is finished, we are in a military lockdown and just because we let you bring your own vehicles does not mean you can go wherever you want or you will not last very long here. Now, back to where we were. The Ulthranian Navy has told me that they are not willing to give this alliance our naval might for the sake of appeasing some nations. So with that said, I will render the decommissioning of an air-capable dreadnought, a drone carrier, an Anti-Aircraft Cruiser and three Missile Cruisers and a Servitus-Class Battleship, used to much effect."

Reformed Britannia wrote:James was glad that an unofficial recess had been called; he needed to calm down a little. After a few minutes inhaling some fresh air, he had walked back into the conference room, and leaned against one of the walls, a brooding expression on his face. He kept his eyes glued to the floor; he was a little tired, but inwardly he was willing to continue the conference. The fact that a recess had to be called, however, was a little unsettling to him; now he was positive that further bickering would occur if military or foreign policy matters were brought up again.
In fact, that was probably what he dreaded the most: foreign policy discussions. Britannian foreign policy was quite isolationist, and would no doubt clash with nations pushing a more aggressive foreign agenda. James fumbled with his suit's pocket for a moment, eventually pulling out a dark Royal Reserve cigar. James was not exactly a smoker; he enjoyed the odd cigar every now and then but he normally stayed away from them. With his nerves in a wreck, though, he thought it might calm him down. As he clenched the cigar between his teeth and brought out his silver-plated lighter, he had another thought. Would it be disrespectful to smoke here? From what he'd seen of Ulthranian customs so far, he wasn't sure if he was allowed to smoke in the residence. Glancing at the flickering, dancing flame eminating from the lighter, he shook his head. "Better safe than sorry," he muttered, and put both the lighter and the cigar away. He raised his eyes, and saw Cavour sitting at the conference table.
The Britannian shuffled over to the table, and crashed down in the chair that he had left 10 minutes earlier. He gave a nod to Cavour, and noticed the documents he was editing.
"Good day, sir," he said courteously, his eyes darting about the room.
