Mission Statement



Polaris Alliance founded through they ideals of strength and power, we will unite the strong and conquer the weak we shall rise above all. Divided the "strong" of the galaxy fall to mobs and masses of the weak peoples. But together the strong survive together they conquer together they rise above all! The Polaris Alliance will act as a mutual defense alliance to save the strong and if possible select the few weaker nations who have the potential.....and desire to rise above all and join the ranks of the strong.

Article I Government
The Polaris Alliance grants sovereignty to all of its members but expects them to stay true to there commitment to they alliance. Every six months(RL) the nations of the TPA shall elect two nations who rule with equal authority in coordination with the founder. The nations of the TPA shall also elect a permanent minister of Foreign relations and a three nation committee who will who shall aid the founder in accepting nations to they alliance. They nations of TPA shall also elect an Economic safe guard to watch the economy of each member in order to distribute aid in times of need.


Article II Military

First let me get this out there the military of TPA shall not be used as a bargaining tool. If your here to make completely unrealistic demands and have us to fall back on i encourage (demand) you to stay away. Now on a lighter note all nations are required to send a force of people (or guarantee support) to the TPAUF(The Polaris Alliance Unified Force.) The TPAUF shall defend her members and assault any enemies of they empire. TPAUF shall also launch a joint space station project where the alliances fleets can muster for invasion or defense. The Force shall also require star ships to be added to the alliances fleets


Article III Economic Regulation

The Polaris Alliance shall not restrict the economies of there member nations unless a large scale depression affects there nation or they alliance on the whole. The Polaris Alliance promotes Capitalism however communism or Socialism is accepted as long as you are able to rein in any personal problems you have with the opposing ideologies. During times of War they alliance shall request that member nations boycott sales and trade to eneimes of they alliance. If your nation does succumb to economic depression then the Internal Polaris Alliance Economic Service ( IPAES) shall step in and bring in stimulants.

Article VI Racism Inter and Outer Species

The Polaris alliance under no circumstances shall accept any racism. This includes racism between humans or any alien species. NG is inhabited by an "Alien species" so we shall accept no racism between any species( unless you keep it to your self). There are exceptions to this rule however the founder most be TGd first in order to establish this exception.

Article V WMDs

The Polaris Alliance does NOT outlaw WMDs or there usage within they alliance. TPA will also from time to time create joint WMDs to be operated and maned by joint TPA forces and shall (due to the power of the weapon) they will only be used upon majority vote of they entire alliance. Threatening to use these weapons (joint TPA WMDs) with out permission will result in repercussions.

Also, my "nation" is a largely pacifist, mostly focused on collecting technology and information and freely disseminating it amongst friendly organizations. Erisians keep in contact and share information through a mental link with a "bio-organic computer" known as the Core Mind. It would make sense if intra-alliance communications used this technology as it would be very secure, fast, and able to cover vast distances. It could also form a plausible framework for co-operation between our separate organizations (ie a free database of information freely exchanged amongst organizations to better improve everyone and make it easier to strategically plan defensive actions that would use multiple organizations tech). For a balance of power, the Network could take a non-voting position withing the governing framework of the Alliance...

- that Erisians would be employed to deliver intra-alliance communiqués?

- that you would give us this technology?

1. Yes, or at least maintain the delivery system

2. Well you would have access to how it works, along with all of our technology, but it works largely due to the fact that Ersians have vastly different neurological systems, as they more closely resemble species from plant or archaebacteria kingdoms as opposed to animal kingdoms

3. in essence... For security reasons communications would use a non-sentient plant-like structure instead of an actual Erisian, but as the entire network is routed through the Core Mind, the Core Mind could could read them if it wants.

Top secret info that nations want to remain hidden could be sent using more traditional means, although Erisians wouldn't really care about the contents of the communication unless they directly related to the destruction of the Network.

I don't know about this. Matarians won't embrace the idea of alien technology serving such a crucial function. It poses too many security risks, and it has the potential to be embarrassing to the Union government. If this idea is proposed, we will vote against it. However, if the alliance finds it practical, we will employ the system for limited use in an isolated area.

I would say that it actually would be more secure. Its practically unhackable, for one thing. Another would be that Erisians would be practically uncorruptable. They have sentience but are completely under the Core Mind's control when connected to the network and can not disconnect on their own. They can not be bribed as they have no use for money. Their primary concern is the collection of data. They believe that there will be some sort of Armageddon type scenario and that they are the only ones who can preserve information for future generations after this catastrophe occurs. As long as they are a part of the network this is their primary goal. This alliance would be a way to gather and share information from normal sources that they wouldn't normally have access to. It wouldn't be in their best interest to anything that would compromise this alliance. They also do not have access to very advanced spacecraft and couldn't win a ship to ship battle against most forces, so for their own protection they would want to preserve the alliance.

The technology offered by the Erisians would be very useful as well. They may not have advanced ships but they are masters of bioengineering. Some applications could be superstrains of crops, soldiers with regenerative capabilities, advanced terraforming techniques, computers that use plasmids to store information (cheaper to build, won't wear out), self building construction/irrigation, cheap labor through non-sentient being specifically designed to a task, ships with automatic damage control and much more.

Sure I guess, but I will tell you we already know a bit. Extended time away from the Core Mind leads to insanity and an inablity to connect to the Network. There are very small groups of Erisians who were separated from the Core Mind during their only war. The Erisians haven't been able to investigate this phenomenon thoroughly though, as the only information gathered about these splinter groups have been reports from other nations and from attacks on Erisian space stations.

And I never thought of them like that... but they are
