The Exodus of the Jedi Order (FT, SEMI-OPEN)

Relo Estar rubbed her eyes as she woke slowly from her slumber. Opening her eyes she was momentarily blinded by the bright light above her. Shielding her eyes from the direct light she allowed them to become accustomed it. Glancing around the room she took in what looked like an average Republic-built medical bay, complete with Bacta Tanks at the far end. Swinging her legs round she discovered that she was pretty scantily clad, in only shorts and a tank top. She quickly figured that she hadn't simply fallen asleep, more been knocked unconscious by something.

Walking a few steps, her bare feet on the floor, she noted that there were a few other people in the medical bay. All out asleep or unconscious.

"What in the Force happened here" She said softly to herself.

"You don't remember?" A Soft male voice asked from the doorway. The voice belonged to Jedi Grand Master Jaxo Valor.

"No" Relo replied "I don't"

Valor sighed and walked further into the room and sat on one of the medical beds and looked at the young woman in front of him. Despite being relatively young, Relo could see the stress of years of hardship on his face.

"The darkness came" Valor sighed and waited a few seconds "The darkness came and the Jedi were unable to stand against it, the Temple is a wrecked husk and the majority of the Republic hates us"

"But what happened exactly?" Relo asked her face white from surprise and fear.

"That is not the time for it now" Valor replied "Needless to say the Story of the Exodus of the Jedi would fill volumes, the Republic is in trouble: Tonar Laz is still the Supreme Chancellor but the Jedi know that the Senate has been infiltrated by Sith Lords and Dark Jedi"

"I'll want you to tell me one day" Relo commented "Just one question? Where the hell am I?"

Last Stand
Jedi Asteroid Ship
Outside of Republic Space

"Last Stand was constructed during the Clone Wars as a fallback point for the Jedi Order in case something like this happened" Valor told her as they looked out over the asteroid.

The Observation Tower was the only part of the Temple that stood above the Asteroid's surface, and was also the generator for the shield that protected the Asteroid from the dangers of space. They had been stood there for some time, and had watched as a pair of Jedi Starfighters arrived and flew down one of the canyons that led to a hanger bay. Relo had dressed in the loose fitting tunics that were the under section of a Jedi's robes. Although she wasn't a Jedi, there was nothing else for her to wear on a Jedi temple. She did however have her lightsaber on her belt; she had been permitted to have it again during her little escapade into the Temple half a year ago.

"How did I get here?" Relo asked.

"You were attacked by a squad of Dark Jedi, you sent out a Force Beacon and a nearby Jedi was able to extract you to here" Valor replied.

"I'm pretty sure I don't to know, but how did I get into my underwear?"

"The Jedi was female and she had to check your wounds" Valor stopped smiling and turned back to his younger companion and looked deadly serious "Do you remember what I told you the last time we met?"

Relo turned away and walked a few steps away as she thought back.

Six Months Earlier

Relo sighed as she returned to the Meditation room; she stopped a few steps in as she noted that Master Valor was already there.

"Can I help you with something young one?" Valor asked without opening his eyes.

"No Master" Relo replied "I was going to mediate before I left, but I’ll leave you to it"

Valor smiled slightly and stood up, moving towards the younger former-Knight.

"You need your space young one, I understand that, but I hope that you find what you’re looking for" Valor replied "But remember, we'll be here when you need us"

Present

"Yes" Relo replied "I remember"

Valor walked over and put a hand on her shoulder lightly and turned her round to look at him.

"There are fewer than five hundred Jedi left, only a hundred Knights at last count" Valor replied "We need all the Knights we can get"

"Master, the Order..."

"The Order needs you" Valor said sharply "Are you going to ignore it...Jedi?"

Council Chamber

Relo looked in the mirror-like glass that surrounded the Council Chamber, she smiled slightly as she admired her, wearing Jedi Robes again no less. She then moved onto a much more important factor of her surroundings. She was in a Council Chamber, and she wasn't giving a report. Valor had felt similar urges during the Clone Wars, and he personally thought that the Councils decision had been completely wrong. With much of the Jedi Council missing, presumed dead, Valor needed new Council members. And a Jedi of Relo's Caliber was just what he needed.

"Master Estar, welcome to the Council" Valor smiled as he entered the room with a number of other newly minted Council members and sat down "We've got a lot of work to do"

THE WAR IS OVER! NEW CHANCELLOR ELECTED!

Two years, five months and twenty-two days of violence, terrorism, aggression and war. This was what the Second Galactic Civil War has consisted of, poisoning the HoloNews everyday. For each day the war continued, a new atrocity was heard of. Safety procedures hindered daily life throughout the capital, ruining routines and causing widespread annoyance.

It was all started following various intelligence threats against the Galactic Republic of Trysan from Chalacta. The world had become violent, aggressive. Terrorist attacks in the capital followed, causing Chancellor Colin Traviss to call for the war. Trysan military fought valiantly against the Chalactans, aided constantly by the Jedi Order.

But as we all know, towards the end of the war, it was revealed that the top Chalactans were in fact puppets of the Force-using Sith, who had formed a coalition with the Dark Jedi in order to wage war against the Jedi. This intelligence was brough to the Republic by outsiders, along with the proof to support it.

Traviss was forced to call for an election. As of today, the winner has taken over as Chancellor. Her name: Liana Maran.

Office of the Supreme Chancellor
Senate Building
Coruscant

Jedi Grand Master Liam Szardos entered the office, escorted by the new Chancellor's chief aide, a Trandoshan. He was greeted by Liana Maran. She was in her early forties, relatively young for a Chancellor. She was dressed in a business-like tailored suit, clothing that stood out amongst the robes worn by previous Chancellors.

"Master Szardos. Welcome."

"Thankyou, Chancellor. How is the first day on the job?"

"Fine, thank you. Now, as you most likely already know, I was the first woman to reach the rank of Admiral in the Trysan Navy. So I'm pretty well used to getting straight to the point. So I will. I believe that the cause of this war was you. You and your bloody Jedi. The Force is a lie. It's just some political excuse for you people to have free run of the Republic systems, doing whatever it takes to get what you want. So here it is. Officially, as of this law that has just been passed in our for-eyes-only Senate session, the Jedi Order is disbanded. Any Jedi not on this planet will be executed, active immediately. You are all fugitives. Hand yourself over, I'll spare them."

Liam turned around. The Red Guard was closing in, force pikes held ready. He ignited his lightsaber, and the green blade flashed forth. "I'm sorry, Chancellor. You've left me with no choice."

He jumped, and then swung. The blade cut through each guard in turn, and four heads fell to the floor. Maran ran over to her desk, pressed a panic button. Sensing another, much larger wave of guards heading this way, he ran at the window. Actually, he ran through it, clipping his lightsaber back to his belt as he did so. Using the Force as a guide, he landed catlike in the hangar bay five floors below. Running across to the nearest speeder, he soon had it hotwired and was ready to go.

Flying through the skylanes, Liam activated his comlink and commed his wife. "Maria, it's Liam. The order is no more. We are fugitives. Get everybody out, try and communicate with those Jedi who are off-planet. Activate Haven."

Jedi Padawan Shaia Li-Kandi was a lost soul amongst a sea of lost souls. She had done her duty and kept calm and looked after a tribe of younglings. But then she was alone and her composure failed, she broke down into angry, bitter tears as she looked back on the events of the past few weeks. She had just passed her 16th Birthday, she and her Master; Solona had been on a faraway planet investigating reports of Dark Jedi hiding out there when the news had came down of the first strikes, a few days later they had found themselves under attack, Shaia had last seen her Master fighting off what she believed was a Sith Lord whilst she attempted to escape. She herself had fought against a pair of Dark Jedi before reaching her Fighter.

She had high-tailed it back to her Consular and escaping. Commander Xero and the small squad of Clone Troopers that had travelled with the two Jedi were able to gather more information and eventually got in contact with Master Typh outbound from the Dantooine Enclave. All that she had been told was that what few Jedi they had left, as little as 500 as far as she knew, had left the Republic to protect them from the Sith and Dark Jedi that had infiltrated various levels of the Republic's government.

"How did it come to this?" Shaia asked herself as she pulled herself out from under her bed covers and pulling on her tunic and robes, attaching her Lightsaber to her belt. She walked a few steps to the viewport that looked out into the large internal docking bay, which was theoretically large enough for a vessel as large as a Star Destroyer.

En-Route To Coruscant

"I have got to be insane" Shaia decided.

As important as she knew her mission was, she only wished that it hadn't been her who had been sent on it. She understood the reasons of course; a sixteen year old girl would attract much less attention than an adult would. The only major problem would be getting to the Jedi Temple. With the Jedi blamed for a string of deaths caused by their battles with the Sith and Dark Jedi, they were hated by the Republic at large. Therefore she couldn't really land her highly distinctive fighter in heavily populated place.

Soon enough she dropped out of Hyperspace above Coruscant and dropped her Hyperspace ring and angled down towards the Planet. Presently she opened the canopy and threw herself from the Fighter. Within minutes she could see her destination as she free-fell towards the surface. The Jedi temple rose up out of the district. As she guided herself towards it she realized one thing was wrong.

She was coming in way too fast.

She popped her 'chute' at the correct altitude but it took a little longer than expected to deploy and she was now heading straight for one of the temple spires. Reaching out with the force a gust of wind blew her to the side, avoiding the tower and allowing her to put herself down on the temple roof.

"Not exactly subtle" She muttered as she took her lightsaber out and moved towards a roof access and into the Temple.

Haven
Jedi Station
Trysan system
Two weeks later

Haven was a large space station located on the outskirts of the Trysan system. It had been constructed twenty years ago in secrecy in case what had just happened did happen. And it had. So Haven had been activated. Any surviving Jedi had a place to rendezvous with the rest of the Order, a new headquarters in which to operate from, free of Republic control.

It had been two weeks since that fateful day. Grand Master Szardos was prowling the corridors when a young Jedi ran up to him. He recognised him as one of the scouts that they had been sending into Coruscant every two days. "Master, I bring news. Chancellor Tiana has created the Galactic Alliance of Trysan, in order to extend her control over the systems in order to unite against the Jedi."

"Thankyou, young Jedi." Then he walked off, frowning.

Jedi Temple
Coruscant
Galactic Republic of United Planets

Jedi Knight Jason Talira and his Padawan, Alex Szardos cautiously walked through the shadows, ascending the stairs that led into the Temple. Alex was the thirteen-year old son of Master Liam, whose sister, Rachel, was Jason's mother. Therefore, Liam was both his Grand Master and his uncle, whilst Owen was both his Padawan and his cousin.

The Order had made attempts to contact the Jedi Order of the United Planets Republic, but to no avail. There had been no reply from this Temple, and so Jason and Owen had been sent to investigate. They had to find out why. Too many atrocities had happened recently. They had to make sure that this Order was okay, for their sakes as well as the Order's.

The two Jedi entered the corridor and slowly walked down it. The place was deserted. Nobody was there to greet them, there was no signs of anybody living in the entire structure. Jason glanced over his shoulder, then turned to Owen, signalling to him to halt. "There's someone here."

Shaia made her way quickly through the Jedi Archives, retriving the most important and oldest holocrons and tossing them into her bag to keep them safe. She didn't have time to download all the archive, so the order would just have to hope it stayed intact until a day when the Republic was willing to accept them back. It wasn't long before the bag was full and she secured it carefully to make sure none of the precious holocrons fell out on her way back out of here. It was then that she realised that she wasn't alone.

In a Temple with no one in it, the movements of another living being were screaming to anyone who could sense them, when they were force-users it was almost like a bright light guiding the way. She secured her bag and moved off along one of the great corridors to see if she could locate the intruder. She knew from her observations that the Clone Troopers were maintaining a perimiter around the Temple, rather than entering, no doubt an order from the Supreme Chancellor.

She soon located the intruders walking along one of the veranda's over looking the training all of the Academy. Moving slowly through the upper rafters of the area she soon caught up with them and got ready to pounce. She left her bag in the rafters for later collection and jumped. Shedding her cloak as she did so, it fluttered away, she pulled her Lightsaber into her hand and energised the blade. The Bright Blue light shining in the twilight. She landed in a low stance, using the force to absorb the force of her landing, she angled her blade ready to defend herself.

Her heart beat rapidly, although she had fought against the Dark Jedi, her goal then had to be simply escape. Here she had no where to escape to, she was fighting for her life. She stood holding her lightsaber vertically with both palms on the right hand side of her body, just waiting to as she centred herself in the force.

"Identify yourself"

He sensed her coming from above. Turning, he ignited his lightsaber, and the green blade flickered out. But the girl landed a few feet away, lightsaber held in a defensive position. "Identify yourself," she said, the look on her face showing that she was ready to fight to the death.

"Easy, young one. I am Jason Talira, Knight of the Order of Jedi that once served the Galactic Republic of Trysan. This is my Padawan, Owen Szardos. We are here on a reconnaissance mission. Our calls for help have been constantly ignored by this Temple. We're here to find out why."

He looked at her reassuringly. He really did not want to have to fight off a Padawan. He could tell what was going through her mind, that they were Dark Jedi, or worse. He wasn't here for a fight. He was here for answers.

Shaia scrutinized the Knight in front of her. She had of course heard the stories and read the reports, particually as her Master had taken part in the first contact, but she had yet to meet a Jedi from another order and was unsure of what she should be feeling. Should she be feeling a sense of cameraderie, of Brotherhood? She didn't have those answers and if she ever made it back to the New Temple she was sure to meditate and spend some time attempting to answer those very questions. Reaching out with the Force, she couldn't feel any ill-will, more a sense that the Knight wanted answers to questions that stemmed to some sort of calimity that had taken place in their Republic.

Against her better judgement she trusted her feelings and de-energised her blade, returning it to her belt.

"Very well, I shall trust you"

She walked a few steps to the edge of the walkway overlooking the Academy, far below she could remember her own training beginning before she was sent to the Enclave on Dantooine. Resting her hands on the balcony she looked out sadly. A stance that made her look a lot older than her years, her stance was equally wiery, a result of the trails of recent times.

"I am Shaia Li-Kandi, Padawan of the Republic, whether they want us or not" Shaia replied "The reason you received no reply is simple, there are no Jedi in this place any more, the Dark Lords of the Sith have infiltrated the Republic at almost every level, they and their Dark Jedi lackey's have overrun the Republic and blamed the Jedi for the deaths at that came as a result of our attempt to expel them and restore order to the Republic, the Jedi Order choose to leave the Republic rather than put it at further risk from the Sith by our continued presence"

Shaia sighed as she summouned her Cloak with the force and put it back on.

"The Sith have the Republic by a strangle-hold, but there is little we can do about it" Shaia sighed "The Order has fallen, thousands of Jedi are dead at the hands of the Sith, all in a matter of months, there are fewer than 500 Jedi left alive"

Jason nodded slowly. It made sense. "Very well, Padawan. I shall tell you my story." And he did, recounting the story of the JEdi's ejection from Trysan and the activation of Haven. "We have transport if it is necessary. What is your headquarters now? Is it hard to reach?"

The two had deenergised their weapons by now and returned the hilts to the blade. Owen stood back slightly, leaving the negotiations to his master. He knew it was not his place to be speaking, especially in such dire circumstances.

Shaia hesitated, it was one thing to trust this Jedi, it was quite another to lead him straight to the Jedi Orders last remaining Safe Haven. She glanced back around at the Temple before making up her mind.

"It is reachable" Shaia replied "However, I shall imput the Co-ordinates into your Navicomputer, and I'll wipe them from your System as soon as we arrive there, you are not to take any sort of Star Fix readings without the permission of the Council"

Shaia was making this up on the fly, and she would have to run it pass the council, but it was an understandable security measure that she was sure that they would adapt. She didn't like what she was feeling herself change into. Suspicion and fear racked her body, as oppossed to the gentle, warm embrace of the force. She was a Jedi, jedi shouldn't feel like this. She glanced upwards and remembered her mission. Reaching out with the force she lifted her bag up and brought it down and rested it on the floor. She leant down to pick it up and put it over her shouldor.

Then she turned back to the Knight.

"We should get going" Shaia replied "It is not wise for a Jedi to remain somewhere for too long"

The trio exited the temple. Jason pointed at the hangar bay across the street, the location of the small vehicle they had used to reach the system. The three began racing down the steps, trying to reach the shadows. Suddenly, a spotlight turned on, and voices were heard.

"I think we've been found," Jason said. "If you don't mind my asking, who by?"

"Bounty Hunters perhaps" Shaia commented looking around "The Sith have taken control of many of the Criminal guilds and have put sizeable bounties on the head of Jedi, the Republic Government doesn't support it, but with Sith infiltrating the Senate; there is little they can do to stop it, we need to get off-world, RIGHT NOW"

Around her she watched as the various bounty hunters approached their position, surrounding them on all sides and toting enough fire power to take a small city. Shaia pulled her lightsaber into her hands and energised it once more. Holding the blade ready to defend from Blaster shots she attempted to cover all her sides at once, and failed rather spectacually.

"Get to your ship, I'll try to hold them off" Shaia said, calmer than she felt "They are here for me, there is no need for you to die as well, take these, the Co-ordinates are in the Purple Tetrahedron, May the Force be with you"

Command Deck
Last Stand
Outside Republic Space

Alarms blared as Valor ran into the command deck. He looked around quickly and took in the view in front of him. A mix of Jedi and ex-Navy personnel who had chosen to defect from the Republic to the Jedi order when they left. Personally, Valor was glad that they Military personnel with them, as he knew that there would be people both from the Republic and outside that would attempt to take advantage of the Order's new found vunerability. Last Stand, had defenses and they had a small fleet of ships for defense, but the Jedi weren't trained to operate them to their full efficiecny, and witht he low numbers, Valor didn't want to have to use his Jedi to man the defenses.

"What've we got?" He asked as he entered the room.

"A Star Destroyer just emerged from Hyperspace, Venator Class" Admiral Sascor, the most senior Naval Officer to defect, replied "It's got Republic markings"

"Not good" Valor sighed "I had hoped the Chancellor would be able to prevent a motion to apprehend the Jedi, What are they doing?"

"Nothing sir, they are just sitting there" Sascor replied.

"Identifty them"

"Star Destroyer Insight, Captain Gryphon's ship"

"Hail them"

"Star Destroyer Insight, this is the Jedi Outpost Last Stand, state your intentions"

Valor waited with baited breath for the vessel in front of them to declare it's intentions. Although one lone Star Destroyer wasn't enough to breach the outposts defenses, if the Jedi fired on a Republic Warship sent to arrest them, they would lose what little support they had left in the Senate, and their cause would be lost.

"Jedi Outpost, Jedi Outpost, this is Star Destroyer Insight, Captain Gryphon in command, the Republic is in Peril, and we want to help, you present the best chance the Republic have, my ship and crew is at your Command"

"Like hell," Jason said, igniting his lightsaber as Owen did the same. "We're staying right here."

The bounty hunters closed in further. Sensing a disturbance, Jason turned to see one close to Shaia. He ran up, and with one swift swing of his lightsaber, the bounty hunter lay dead on the floor, the last look of a scream on his face.

"You owe me one, Padawan."

"I get the feeling we'll be even by the end of this" Shaia commented.

She then proceeded to jump away into battle. Her shorter size allowed her to slip in between the bounty hunters, her ligthsaber flashing in several different directions as she cut down the Bounty Hunters that were attacking them. She kept her activities in check, lest she tire herself out. She made some use of the force, mostly in pushing the bounty hunters off the platform and into the depths of Coruscant. The engagement went on for a little whilse longer as the three Jedi made short work of the bounty hunter.

As the last Bounty Hunter fell to the ground, severred in half, Shaia looked up as she felt a strong disturbance in the Force. She brought up her weapon just in time to block the powerful downward strike. It took all her strength to stop her arm buckling under the blade. The overwhelming heat from the blade pushing towards her face was almost unbearable, but she was able to push forwards with the force, pushing the Sith Warrior away from her. She quickly assumed a ready-stance.

"Surrender Jedi and I will make your death swift" The Sith Warrior said in a deep gravely voice, at the same time he had put up a force barrier between Shaia and the other Jedi "This is not your fight"

Then the Sith attacked.

It took all of Shaia's skill to defend herself. Keeping her defense close to her body and parrying her opponants strikes without attempting to counter attack. She tried to keep herself calm, centering herself in the middile of her defense whilst her enemy continued to attack away at her defense. She had no experiance in a real duel, and that would be her main problem. She'd be able to defend herself indefinatly, but she would find it incredibly difficelt to counter-attack successfuly.

She observed her oppoanant as she moved her Lightsaber quickly to block his various attacks, then she spotted it and acted instantly. After her last block she sliced cleanly upwards, severing her opponants arm below the elbow. The lower part of the arm includeing the blood-red lightsaber fell into the darkness of Coruscant. The Sith fell to the ground, his force Barrier failing.

"Time to go!" She shouted as she sprinted past the other two Jedi towards their craft.

As the three Jedi fought the bounty hunters and Sith that seemed to have them pinned, a vehicle was sighted driving toward them. The strange appearance of the vehicle did not at first make itself present to the fighting Jedi; they had more on their mind with the thugs rushing at them. As they noticed the sound of the engine, a modified troop transport came to a stop nearby between the Jedi and their escape. The vehicle had some sort of force field emitters installed atop the roof and the entire vehicle was painted black. The symbol of a red hand was embossed upon its side appearing as if it was made with blood and it ran slightly before drying. Several weapon systems locked onto the three as well as some of the bountyhunters who seemed stunned at the appearance of the ebon transport.

The rear door of the transport opened and out stepped a red haired woman wearing black and blue leather jacket, black outfit, and bracers on her forearms which seemed at first to be part of the jacket. Smoking a cigarette, she stepped out, took a drag and then flicked the still smouldering ember away. Locking her green eyes on the three she spoke to them.

Image

“Well boys and girls, it never fails. When it comes to fighting you Jedi always stick to your sabers and your force powers. I have made a lot of credits based on this fact and you children never fail.”

Seeing the blank look on their faces the individual realized they had absolutely no idea who she was.

Please allow me to introduce myself. I am what you would call a professional Jedi hunter. My band, the Bloody Hand travels to systems who wish to have their Jedi infestation exterminated. I have taken down several Orders, either outright destroying them member by member or participating in raids with the local police as a Special Contractor assisting them with my unique abilities.”

“Now you two can simply give up or you can run. The former would save you a quite a bit of pain but the latter is a hell of a lot more fun for me and my men.”

As the three looked at the stranger, she started speaking again.

“You can call me Luci, that way you will know who brought you to your knees.”

With that, she pressed a button on her bracer and the shield emitters flared, sending out a pulse bubble of barely visible energy in every direction. As the pulse passed through the Jedi, they felt the Force leave them. Luci stood there smiling an evil smirk allowing them to realize she used a Force Inhibitor on them.

“That’s right boys, a Force Inhibitor. It is not permanent, your Midi-chlorians will have to attune themselves again to the Force before you will be able to use your abilities, should be nothing more than an hour. I would hesitate trying to use your sabers since you cannot feel their presence anymore. I have seen more than one Jedi Master amputate their own limbs by accident. Franklly it is pitiful the way you children rely upon the Force for everything. Take it away and you are worse than normals. You cannot do anything on your own anymore.”

Taking out another cigarette, Luci lit it and breathed out a cloud of blue smoke. “You have until I finish this to decide if you are going to surrender or if you are going to run. After that, we will start hunting. Attacking will cause the clock to disappear immediately, no more chances and all bets are off.”

Taking another drag from her cig, she pushed another button and with that signal her men began to file out of the transport. They were heavily armed and there was a couple savage looking tracking beasts leashed who seemed to know their prey were the three Jedi. Exhaling another cloud of smoke, Luci turned to the three.

“You are burning your time, what are you going to do boys and girls? Are we going to do this the hard way or the easy?”

Lucy smiled again, sending a shiver through the Jedi indicating she wished they would choose to fight or run.

Shaia listened to the monolouge from their new enemy, she crossed her arms in front of her body and put her right leg back. She felt the force become negated and sighed slightly. As they were given the choice and this 'Jedi Hunter' began to smoke her cigarette, Shaia smirked and glanced at her two companions before walking to the edge of the platform. Kicking the Sith Warrior in the stomarch as she passed, the Sith groaned. The Jedi Hunter would by now be wondering exactly what the hell this young Jedi Padawan was doing. She half-turned and waved back at the Hunter before throwing herself from the platform.

"This really wasn't the best idea in the Galaxy"

Pushing this thought aside Shaia dropped through the city, getting lower and lower until she saw what she had been hoping for. Reaching down to her belt, she took out a length of Parasteel wiring with a hook on the end of it. It took her a few attempts before she made contact. The Hook attached to the railing on a cross-over bridge. She activated the end attached to her equiptment belt and it began to pull her towards the bridge. Presently she was standing on the bridge and looking back up from where she had fallen.

She sighed and activated her wrist communicator and after a few minutes of waiting her Delta-7 was emerging from the Traffic lanes and hovering in front of her. Jumping in she had to go and find her Companions. Hopefully they had been able to follow her lead and jumped with her, getting the gist of her plan, if not she needed to go and help them.

"R5, contact Master Valor, tell her we've got Jedi Hunter's on our ass" Shaia ordered as she began to pilot her Fighter in search of her friends.

Luci watched the girl walk over to the edge and leap off. This was going to be interesting, the chase always was. Looking back at the other two, she took another drag on her cigarette, the paper burning closer to the filter. Exhaling she simply watched the two waiting for their reaction with that same predatory smirk.

In the transport, the technician monitored the tracking system, keeping a lock on the falling girl. It was not the first time prey had tried to make jumps and the group long ago make it a point to monitor the prey until they were in custody, or dead.

“Boys, I guess it is your turn to decide. Better hurry.”

Jason watched as Shaia launched herself off the edge of the platform. Then he turned back to Owen, raised his eyebrows, before fixing his gaze on the hunter. "Don't worry. I've decided," he said, a smirk on his face.

Motioning to Owen, the two deactivated their lightsabers and sat down in a meditative position. Jason closed his eyes peacefully, the same smile still upon his face.

Luci watched as the Jedi surrendered. They dropped to their knees and extinguished their sabers. Nasty things those are. Nothing good ever came of anyone who carried one of those around.

“I am glad you saw to your senses. Hit them with the stunners so we can cage them and package them for transport. Keep tracking the one that ran, I still have some cigarette left.”

Luci took another drag and walked toward the transport while her men pulled out some strange looking stunners. Luci suddenly stopped, placing one hand to her ear. On her earpiece, she was listening to the sensor operator in the transport. Turning around, she looked up and shouted to her men.

“Get down!”

Diving for cover, the hunters lost sight of their sitting captives and Lucy took refuge just inside the open doors of the transport. The autoguns activated and tried to track the bogey, firing a hail of slugs at the approaching flier.

Shaia saw the problem, her companion's were still on the platform, she sighed and lined her fighter up for an attack run. Gunning the engines she winced as she once again entered the Force-Dead area on her run. Pushing the fighter as fast it would go she moved as close as she dared without the force to aid her, firing the fighters Laser cannons as she did so, no doubt causing everyone on the platform to dive to cover, and giving the two Jedi a chance to run for their ships. Indeed, she sent a quick message to their communicators informing them to do just that.

As she came flew past, she got on the announcer system fitted to her fighter and spoke down.

"Luci, you forget one thing, whilst we may not be able to use the Force right now, it will alway's be with us"

Smiling as she came back around to perform another pass she added another Jibe:

"Smoking is bad for your health, it'll kill you for us!" She commented as she fired again, before bursting into laughter as she pulled up hard and moved into a holding pattern to wait for her companions, with that much Laser fire being thrown around, it would only be a short time before elements of the Coruscant Guard were on-scene to investigate.
