The Floor was tiled with squares of White and Black Marble, Exquisite Paintings and Photographs hung from the walls, Three Crystal Chandeliers Hung from the ceiling, Glittering from the Winter sunlight that shone through the three Tall windows.
The Table itself was What you'd expect a royal family to eat off, However it was Much too Small for the Size of the room.

"As a Family of four my husband and I Didn't see the Need for a Massive table" Queen Aldred said "The Original Large table is currently stored in the Basement. We used to have the table in the dining room but we had to shout to each other to talk at dinner time So we got a Smaller replica of the original table"

"What do you do when you get visitors then? Have the old table moved back, or is there another dining hall for such occasions." Adela asked.

"Isn't that a bit impractical?" Anduin asked. "Moving a big table from a basement to a dinning hall and back must drive the servants mad."

Adela gave Archie a slight squeze smiling. Her own popularity in the province of Nibia was at an overwhelming 42 % landing her on a top ten of most popular Alcedina princes.

"There's a Lot more a Royal family can do to grow in Popularity and Remain at that level" Queen Aldred said "Starting Charities, Heritage Trusts, General Benevolent things Et cetera"

Archie Continued Purring, Loving every minute of the fuss made over him

"We tried that. We spent more money then we got in some years trying to appease the public. We funded hospitals, schools, universities, jobs, housing facilities, you name it we did it and the people still only just accepted us." Anduin replied. "They appear to seriously dislike the idea of monarchy."

Still busy playing with Archie knowing that she at least didn't suffer from the problems her less progressive and democratic relatives had to struggle with Adela replied. "Well if only those things where less obviously attempts to bribe the people then maybe they would work."
