I need to work on my factbook skills, so I'll post a more in-depth look into the USA later sometime. But here's an updated map.

(I'll swap the areas destroyed by the FTL bomb to the Large West-Coast Cities and DC. Since that's were they're occupying.)

The Population of the United States is 322,432,72 and is 93.6% White, with 5.4% being Afro-American, 0.4% being Asian, 0.2% being Hispanic, and 0.2% being Native American. The largest single reported ethnic group in the United States is German, with 21.4% of the population claiming some German, the next four are Irish (18.5%) Italian (9.6%) French (8.5%) and British (Scottish, Welsh, English together, 5.2%)

Most of the population is concentrated on the East Coast or the Great Lakes area. With the three largest cities being New York, Chicago, and Philadelphia. The Great Plains and the Midwest/South area are mainly devoted to Agriculture, with a few spattered cities such as Atlanta, New Orleans, Richmond and St. Louis. The population is generally in good-standing with each other, and most Americans own a "Television" Set. The Television is a wonderful invention. With over 15 channels! While it is very popular, many Americans still continue to get Newspaper's, and outside social life is thankfully still popular.

The American Culture is generally a melting pot of various European cultures. With a few things being distinctly American. Such as Apple Pie enjoyed by many, American Football, which involves hands more often than not, and Baseball. Their are however usually considered to be three types of Americans. The first group, Yankees, are the Northerner's and their families are mainly descended from Immigrants who came in the 1800's/1900's or the more Middle Class/Poor of the First American Colonists to arrive. They also settled in the Midwest and Great Plains in addition to the Northern East Coast/Great Lakes. The second, Dixie is more of a group of the more well off Americans Colonists who settled in the South and now make up most of the Population south the Ohio River/Ol' Mason Dixon line. The third group is a more ragged and wild group. Texans are descendants of the first White men in Texas, who declared independence from Mexico and later joined the USA.

The United States is divided into States, which are further divided into Counties, which are further divided into Townships. The largest state at the current time is Texas, which is over 260,000 Square Miles. The USA used to have an access to the Pacific Ocean, but after a war with the British, this was taken away and occupied, and many Americans remain bitter about it to this day. The Five regions of the US are The Northeast, The South, The Great Lakes, The Midwest, and the New Frontier. America contains almost every type of Terrain. From the Desert's of New Mexico, to the tundra of extreme Northern Maine. The Union is made up of Forty-One states. While the Urban cities of the East Are quite intimidating, the Midwest is mainly Farmland with the exception of a few dotted cities, such as Topeka or Dallas.

The United States Military is made up of Five branches and the several Components of those branches, such as the Engineer Corps. The Branches are...

- The United States Navy
- The United States Marines
- The United States Air-force (Mainly a small group of Clanker Flyer's)

The first two groups are mainly devoted to defense of the United States Homeland, Also known as the US Earth-space and the waters around it. The Army is used for Offensive operations on Earth and Reserve's, and the National Guard is mainly entrenched in the Rockies and the Border with Canada, as well as on the US coast.

There are two Navy Branches in the US Navy. The Space Navy and the Earth Based navy. The Earth Based navy is the larger one so far, while the Space based navy is just being established.

The United States Marines are the main Atmospheric and Space based invasion force of the United States. They have one current goal: Secure space colonies and ships.

The United States Air-force is mainly based around Two Flying Aircraft Carriers. They are able to deploy to any planet in the Inner Solar System within' Six Weeks. The Clanker Technology of the US Air-force is very unreliable and crashes do to technical failure's are common.

Weaponry of the United States Armed Forces: M16 (Considered "The most advanced weapon ever designed" in the USA. They are only issued to defenders of extremely key strategic and political areas.) Now, this isn't a new Earth. But rather a role-playing group, if another interest is generated.That needs to be made clear, right from the start. The [PT/FT] tag, may be confusing and perhaps misleading. But instead it is rather an interesting idea, in my mind anyway. It is kind of based on the Earth: Empire thread, but slightly different. Where the infantry forces are basically the late Napoleonic soldiers - equipped with muskets that have been more highly developed, to the point where they would be able to put a hole in the most robust of tanks. These forces could be anywhere from the late-Napoleonic period. To the in-real-life World War I troops. The political systems now, aren't exactly the same. Or shouldn't be, if interest is generated. I would like if a few nations could stay with monarchies as my vision of this is where monarchies are the more commonly-seen thing. With many nations having them. There will be a few places that don't have monarchies obviously. But I want this role-play to almost have a free-form, steampunk, retro-ish feel. The other thing that may make this role-play totally different. Is the fact that a whole lot earlier than in-real-life, is that space-travel has been invented. And is used a lot earlier, too. Before the real-life second world war. The general history of this is starting after World War I, which has totally changed the path of nations and where they are situated. In this role-play. World War I was contested between the Iron Union. Which is the nations of West Germany, France, Spain, Romania and the Ottoman Empire, The United States of America, plus Japan. These nations are equivalent to the real-life Central Powers. The other side, or the Allied Pact. Are the Russians, the Scandinavian Empire (Denmark, Sweden, Iceland and Greenland), the U.K, East Germany, Prussia, The Central Union and the Republic of Ireland.

As in real-life, the Allied Pact won the war. With the United Kingdom seizing lands from around the world. The British Commonwealth growing hugely, with the failing German and French Empires losing lands, The USA lost over half their nation, including New York and the capital Washington D.C to an FTL Bomb, which levelled many of their cities. The situation in Germany is especially precarious, with the West Germans and East Germans being at permanent war. But the Prussians have growing control of north-east Germany, and although the Prussians and East Germans were both allies in WWI. They have claims on each others land. Russia grew hugely, but withdrew from the war in 1916, with an internal revolution. And is still in a state of not knowing whether the monarchy is safe, or the revolutionaries are going to take hold. The Republic of Ireland - North and the Republic now allied and united, now has colonies in South America and South-East Asia. After claiming land in the after-war treaties. The Japanese lost the war, but didn't lose any of her colonies. And are still strong, one thing China did benefit from, was the war. Gaining a whole lot of land. The Central Union is a Union of several Central-European nations that banded together after the War. To defend each other, and supply trade to each other.

These aren't the only countries available, obviously. But I'd like to know what anyone thinks, any if anyone would like to join an RP. That would begin in 1950. After nearly a 100-odd years that changed the face of the Earth, and an Earth that is a lot stranger the one that we know, one that hasn't got the guns and tanks we know today. But instead, Napoleonic soldiers, fighting wars across the galaxy. As space travel is more commonly used. The Solar System will be broken up more when and if there is any interest. The people who declare themselves as the British Commonwealth, Russia, The French Empire and the West/East German Empires. Will be able to claim the first outerspace colonies. But these will first be only-available on the Rock Planets, i.e Mars, Mercury etc. The ones on the Gas Giants will only be available in the proper RP, if it gets going.

If you want to be a part of the RP, just declare your interest. And show an example of a previous RP, or two. Where the quality is high.

EDIT: Can you switch the lime green to the country to the left of what it is currently on? As that is actually Norway, the one that is currently coloured lime green is Sweden. I got the mixed up. Haha.

No thanks, but thanks for the offer. My wording was sort of misconstrued, but can you make Greenland, Iceland, Denmark and the islands at the top of the map all the same colour as Sweden (the one that is dark blue). As that is The Scandinavian Empire. Norway is a free nation. And sorry for asking so much, but can you switch the eastern half of the USA to the green colour and the half that the USA currently occupies (not including Alaska), to the yellow of the British Commonwealth.
