"I am sure that your royal highness would be the best person to decide that! Even if I also can understand her royal princess attachment to the theatre as it is indeed something that I am sure most of us can relate to!"

"Indeed," The Queen said, "We do not mind her attending or viewing such wonderful pieces of education, but we will not have an actress for an daughter."

Sophia sighed as she leaned back, feeling her eyelids droop slightly as she began to relax in the warmth of the auto-mobile. Struggling to keep herself from the embarrassment of falling asleep, she pulled herself up yet again to address the Prince.

"Tell us your Royal Prince, are we close to Imerbürg? I daresay you know these roads far better than I."

"Tell us your Royal Prince, are we close to Imerbürg? I daresay you know these roads far better than I." the queen asked and primus turned towards the window even if he could only see some house that where either owned by some nobleman or at least someone rich as the four noticeable floors where well decorated with large statues that looked out over the smaller wall that surrounded it and he could even spot the large door that true to imerian architecture attempted to make every visitor feel small and unimportant which of course where made even more noticeable back home.

"I am sadly not entirely sure as some unforeseen delay could show up your royal highness!" he said even if that would be unlikely as the guard would most likely have closed of the entire road and the way between the gates and the palace to ensure something like that would not happen.
"But perhaps half an hour or twenty minutes?" he guessed.

"Ah excellent Your Royal Prince, we are most anxious to meet with His Majesty the King, for the last time I have met with someone with equal status to my own has been too long." The Queen said, and to her it was always an unusual experience conversing with an fellow monarch. They, who were used to commanding an aura of respect and dignity, to have their word obeyed, and most of all to be superior to all others.

Yet when faced with an Monarch of equal standing, Sophia never knew how exactly to respond, so usually hid behind titles and protocol, carefully structuring her responses and dialogue to be more like an empty vase, beautiful to the observer, but hollow and empty of substance.

"Ah excellent Your Royal Prince, we are most anxious to meet with His Majesty the King, for the last time I have met with someone with equal status to my own has been too long." Sophia confessed which after all was something that Primus could understand as she were after all a queen and those got rarer and rarer in these so called "modern" times and even he himself rarely met equals even if he where a prince and even then so would his nationality also be hard to match.

"I can surely understand that your royal highness as nations with a proper government are sadly a rare commodity these days!" Primus agreed "But I am sure that it is just a passing fad and nothing to worry about!" he continued as monarchy had always been the government of choice for humanity until now so why they would change all of a sudden where beyond him but then again he had trouble seeing what people saw in those republics in the first place.

"Indeed your Royal Prince, as we visit the nations of the world we see and lament at the decline and decay of the Crown, an glory deprived from the people." Queen Sophia said, even in her lifetime she had heard of countless Monarchies toppled, replaced instead with an glorious republic, usually of some Communist breed.

Despite her distaste of the concept, however, she had to admit that she had found many Presidents she had met both charming and competent in their adminstration, but often lacked the dignity or sincerity of Princes.

"your royal highness is quite correct!" Primus answered as he mentally returned for a moment to the hot deserts of Ramsetia and the smiling face of it's empress looked at him through the mists of his memory as he sighed and a smile played over his face as the pleasant memories returned
"She was wonderful" he said before he really realised that he had said it and he surpressed a sense of panic
"ehhrm... The nation that is!" he corrected himself and hoped that Sophia wouldn't look into it further
"but otherwise have I sadly only visited old tyrannia twice!" he said even it was something he was quite happy about as foreign nations could be ungodly hot.

"I see, your Royal Prince," Sophia said, hiding her smile behind the screen of her fan. The mention of the Empress had seem to cause an almost blissful reaction at the young Prince, which he had tried, in the Queen's experience of reading people's expression, to cover up. it was with some difficulty that the Queen tried to hide the laughter that threatened to escape from her speech.

"I suppose the vist to Tryannia would be due to it's origins as the Princess Aula's place of birth no? Tell me, does her Royal Princess miss the joys of her home?"

"Correct again your royal highness!" Primus said "or at least the second visit was due to my marriage but the first was actually a diplomatic meeting to ensure that our nations would not engage in open warfare as our two peoples have never been that big admirers of one another!" he confessed as he had actually not met his wife before they married one another.

"As for your royal highness second question so would I have to say that she does indeed miss her homeland and with the risk of alarming your royal highness so have the climate also been somewhat of a negative influence on her as well as she is slightly sick and suffers from both mood swings and have started to throw up at the mornings!" he confessed

"Tell me your Royal Princ, indulge my womanly intuition, does Her Royal Princess often sink into an temper most furious, often complaining about things beyond your Control, such as the weather, or irrational anger towardards other women? Despite her nausea, does Her Royal Princess have cravings for foods that normally she despises, or an unusual concoction of unusual foodstuffs?" The Queen asked, a small smile upon her lips.

"Ehhh" Primus began a bit taken off guard by the comment as he had no idea how she would got her hand on that information and her smile made him even more uneasy as he got the impression that she knew something he didn't.

"Well... Well yes your royal highness! he said as now when he thought about it so was some of the Tyrannian dishes she had ordered rather strange even for foreign food

"But how did your royal highness know that?" he asked rather surprised before a wave of dread came over him and he asked worried "It is not something dangerous is it your royal highness?"

The Queen gave off an small laugh, "Shall we say your Royal Prince that she is suffering from an condition that I myself have underwent, four times actually," She said, remembering her own ordeals of pregnancy, the constant trips to the bathroom as she vomited, and she felt even worse for her Privy Council, as her advisors had eventually ended dreading their meetings with her, in case she would work herself in an rage and walk out screaming at their incompetence. As Suddenly her husband suddenly burst out laughing, no doubt finally figured out what the Princess Aula's problem really was.

"Your Royal Prince I do believe that Her Royal Princess is fulfilling the natural function exclusive to her sex, and that perhaps it would be prudent for Her Royal Princess to consult a Physician as soon as possible, and perhaps your Mother . . . .”

"I do not see what is so amusing your royal highness!" Primus said annoyed as the prince consort laughed and Primus couldn't help to feel as everyone know something that he didn't and it was just as back home where both his wife and mother simply said that he would understand soon enough and his best friend had simply dismissed the issue with a "who knows what womenfolk are up to?"

"I do thank you your royal highness for your royal highness concern!" he said as he turned back to the queen whom only had made him more confused as he was not privileged to her medical records
"but mother and her royal princess have actually consulted the palace doctor for two or three weeks ago so I should most likely relax myself as they would have said something if it was any danger!" he said before he realised something
"but now when I do think about it so have they acted rather oddly recently!"

"I'm sorry Your Royal Prince, it is most cruel of us to laugh," The Queen said, her face betraying her lack of sincerity with the rather obvious smile that played upon her lips, "However I would not deprive Her Royal Princess of some rather pleasing news to your Royal Prince, so to illuminate you from your ignorance would be doing your wife a disservice, I am afraid I must beg your Royal Prince's Pardon for my silence about the source of our mirth."

Sophia felt that it would be wrong for her to tell Primus of his wife’s pregnancy, as when she told her own husband of each of her pregnancy’s, she had felt happiness bloom inside her that she had never experienced. Well almost, she thought wryly about her first pregnancy, her daughter Victoria, as she had technically entered an illegal marriage as she had wed without royal consent. She had feared that there would be problem that her daughter would be considered illegitimate, which was probably the reason she had bestowed the Archduchy of Vinera to her, an area of land jealously guarded by most monarchs, as it had made her one of the wealthiest and powerful nobles in Court.

Sophia said which didn't enlighten Primus one bit but he decided to push the whole thing out of his mind until he got home as he had to talk with Aula as it obviously was something rather important.

"Indeed so would that be understandable and your royal highness prerogative!" he said even if he rather would have had her saying the whole thing there and then but he could hardly force the information out of her and begging would be bellow his dignity.

"But I would believe that, that would be a sight for sore eyes your royal highness and your royal prince!" he said as a view outside finally revealed that the large gates to the city itself became visible and the two statues of two heroes of old, armoured in the large helmets with the traditional face masks and a heavy coat of mail that had been used on the scanderan continent for ages amongst the nobility and richer warrior classes, that now was part of the gateway into the city stood and looked down on the mere mortals that dared to enter the city that they had fought for in more glorious days that were lost in the mists of time.

OOC: As Izzyshipper said so is it common decency as refering to a man or woman of noble birth with "you" or simply by name would be rude, now kindly leave this thread alone.

"Oh my," The Queen said, letting the smile of sly humour be replaced with an expression of slight awe, amazed at the grandeur of the statues that stood at the Gates of Imerbürg, two warriors standing proudly at the Imerian capital, and to the Queen's imagination they seemed almost alive, ready to strike at those who's intent to gain entry into the city was less than pure.

All nonsense, of course, but to the Queen, whose whole life was built on traditions and semi-legends,it was comforting to her to indulge in some fantasy of hers.

"I must say Your Royal Prince, we are humbled by the Majesty of such behemoths, who's worthy iprofile do they depict?" Sophia said which made Primus smile as it was clearly always a satisfying feeling when people where taken in awe by the many statues and the other decorations that they had over the years added to their capital to ensure that it was indeed the most splendid sight in the entire federation.
"The man on the left, the one with the gauntlet on his shield!" Primus said and pointed to the stone giant to the left with the gauntlet heraldry displayed on his shield that he held to his side with his free arm
"He is Belron the son of Bel the silverforged and the most trusted lieutenant and second in command to..." Primus said as he turned towards the other statue "Imer the great that is the man on the right and according to legend so did they lead the Imerian people against the Wharen during the second human invasion of their lands your royal highness!" he finished the explanation before he added "However the sword and shield given to Belron would be purely for artistic purposes as he wore a two-handed axe in the legends!"

The Queen craned her neck to catch the last glimpse of the massive statues before they disappeared out of view, "Magnificent . . . " she muttered under her breath, before turning to address the young Prince.

"Well your Prince I must say I am impressed, it is most different from our own culture, were the founder of our Kingdom is not particularly well known or renowned, or for that matter the founder of the present Capital, Vinera, for he was an pretender to the throne and an most poor leader. Although,” The Queen said, an half smile upon her lips, “We would be biased upon that particular King, as he had an ancestor of mine executed and took large amounts of lands from my House Maddox, which we never got back until our ascension of the throne some . . . Three hundred years ago.”

"Totally understandable your royal highness, after all the honour of ones house needs to be defended!" Primus said as they finally entered the city where curious commoners stood and watched their arrival as peacekeepers in their black and white uniforms kept the crowd at safe distance just as they most likely had evacuated the street earlier in a similar manner even if some quick thinking men and women had rented out their balconies and windows as people looked out from the buildings as well which in some cases did not look all that safe.
And to make matters worse had some people put up those Camera devices that let bright lights shower the auto mobile they travelled in to Primus annoyance as he never really had liked bright flashes no matter if they came from cameras, reflective surfaces or to bright sunshine that simply crept up on him.

"I must however say that it seems as a odd custom your royal highness" Primus pointed out as he tried his best not to blink when a camera went of a bit too close before he continued "Don't your royal highness and your royal highness people honour your national heroes at all?"

All in all so did it seem very strange as most kings and heroes were extremely treasured and their legends were exaggerated by each passing generation as they served as incarnations of goodness and excellent role models that the young boys and girls could look up to and struggle their entire lives to attempt to live as or even rise to even greater fame and glory themselves.

The Queen peered up as the hustle and bustle of the great Imerian capital was swept away by the Peacekeepers, to make room for the Royal Procession. She supposed that she should be used to such grandiose action taken in her name by now, but Sophia always felt slightly guilty as causing such diversions among the everyday lives of people.

Yet she could not deny such actions were not necessary, and to be fair it seemed, judging by the noses peering down from the balconies above, that people were more interested in their arrival than being angry at their slight delay.

"I must however say that it seems as a odd custom your royal highness, Don't your royal highness and your royal highness people honour your national heroes at all?"

The Prince asked, causing the Queen to shake her head slightly. "No, not at all your Royal Prince we do value such heroes greatly, yet it seems that the founding fathers of our Kingdom do not inspire the fervour that other greats enjoy.

For example, King George The Great is loved for his prowess in the Battle of the Krussian Fleet, where his naval excellence prevented the largest fleet from the neighbouring Empire of Krussia from landing on Izzyshipper. King James II for his leading role in the overthrowing of Mad King Harold IV and the restoration of the line of Queen Alexandria. Saint Matilda Lucia is loved for her legendary performance in the battle of Grangehead, where she lied to get into the military and saved King Albert I from death."

Primus nodded as Sophia explained even if he thought that it still seemed as a rather strange thing not only not to value the founders of ones kingdom, but then again Emanuel the first had a rather glorious tale to tell and statues of him could be found over the entire federation and even in Tribal Negroid villages in Africa could his image be seen even if he were not as awe-inspiring there as the massive statute in the heroes square. What Primus however thought of as a bit more strange was the respect given to traitors that had risen up to their true king and ruler, but then again so had the federation never had a successful revolt, or a successful revolt that had affected its leadership, he corrected himself as both Felandia and the southern parts of Taranaka came up as a painful reminder as the two realms that had broken away from the federation proper

"And!" he reminded himself as a statue that depicted queen Erika standing on the wall of a larger and quite decorated house caught his eyes "her royal highness Erika is still seen as a hero amongst some even if she never managed to get over that war of succession she started" he thought as he looked back to the queen just as they passed a house were the owner had put up an Izzyerian flag.

"That sounds a bit more reasonable your royal highness!" He said as pointing out that historical heroes were not all that great, especially not the person he was talking to's ancestor, were often a bad idea "after all heroes of old is a important part of our past, but if your royal highness would not feel that me asking would be too inquisitive how were your royal highness kingdom founded? I do think I heard that it was sometime in the 9th century but I don't know much more!" he explained.

"Almost, Your Royal Prince," Sophia said, an half smile on her lips as she saw a flash of Royal blue that adorned the Izzyerian flag, "10th Century in fact, 910AD to be exact. The island of Izzyshipper was originally split between 12 Kingdoms, and to the east lay the largest and strongest of those, the Kingdom of Izzyshipper, ruled by King Richard. I myself am not descended from him, rather my ancestors ruled the wealthy Kingdom of Maddoxia to the south, hence the name of my Noble House. However, King Richard spent twenty years uniting each Kingdom, either through diplomacy or war. Maddoxia swore fealty for example for protection against southern raiders that pillaged cities there. He finally defeated the Kingdom of Renat in 909Ad, and formally declared "Keeper and Defender of the Land" the following year, a title which I still hold."

"I understand and I do apologise for the mistake your royal highness!" he said as the queen finished her story just as they took a turn into the royal square that revealed the walls around the royal palace grounds that had a large way carved through the people that stood and watched even if the peacekeepers here were supported by blue and yellow high guardsmen that with their silver cuirasses and face guards stood out quite heavily from the rest of the crowd as some commoners seemed to have claimed one part of the square where they stood and cried angrily with some signs raised into the sky demonstrating about something

"most likely those damned equal rights groups or democracy supporters!" Primus thought to himself as he had always considered it better to simply ignore such people even if some of the peacekeepers seemed to have the whole thing under control as some of them were heading over to them to make them leave.
A quick look towards the demonstrators did however reveal that both groups were present as he saw both signs demanding constitutions and ones demanding non-humans to be granted rights, which were rather bothersome that they would decided to show up just now when they had visitors.

"I would however like to officially welcome you to the royal palace in Imerbürg your royal highness!" Primus said as he pointed towards the large buildings that stretched up through the trees that were visible behind the gates and the walls that close of the royal palace from the rest of the city.

"I would however like to officially welcome you to the royal palace in Imerbürg your royal highness!" The Prince said, causing her to glance at the foreboding walls of the Royal Palace, towering stone behemoths guarding the treasure that was the Palace from the everyday bustle of the city.

"Well I must say we have waited long but Imerbürg was worth the wait your Royal Prince," She said, sparing an concerned glance at the protesters, "Although I do hope that your protesting citizens shall not be treated too harshly by your Peacekeepers."
