Civil War: As of yet OPEN

Postby Letzen » Mon Jul 13, 2009 11:08 am

Image

( know east and west are reversed)
A map of Letzen the East Province has a small mercenary rebellion without the populaces support, The central military base and secondary 1 hold them at bay however The military doesn't want to move, scared of losing popular support.

This is not a plea for help so much as a ask for medical aid from other nations for the populace trapped in the war zone as of yet we are using guerrilla tactics to nullify civilian casualties, as soon as their is international aid we can attack with artillery

I was actually thinking of a specific zone where no fighting would take place not just "in the cities" doesn't have to be anything big.

We would like to help, but we should communicate with the rebels. Clearly the government is doing something wrong, and the government needs to listen to their citizens.

Perhaps you have heard of a Mr. Sphrite the Exiled general leading the rebellion (more of an insurgency) as I specified earlier he currently has no popular support but if we start shelling his mercenary force, (and possibly killing civilians in the process, at least destroying towns and farms) we will lose popular support

Mr. Sphrite was a general on our side during the revolution, however he passed info to the overlords

Then let the aid poor in. We would like to commit 1000 soldiers of our army to defend the area from rebels and maintain order in distributing if that is ok. Not sure if this is legal but we would like to represent the WA.

We welcome your aid, however we are a WA nation to so have not need for your illegal representation
We are starting the bombardment with howitzer artillery and one of our destroyers, the police will begin putting people in camps, the police will also dispatch patrol boats to keep the camps from being attacked

ooc: Just for the record, the WA doesn't really exist in International Incidents, it only exists as a game mechanic.

We wish to send our thanks to TurboKill and United Dependencies
hopefully this war will end with Mr Sphrite dead and his insurgency over.
We are now beginning our ground push from the east and west military bases to converge on either side of the rebel camp, from there they will shoot at anything that moves but not enter the camp, this should make the loss of life as little as possible on our side
