The Enterprise and other ships of group alpha moved into position and attacked the main ships escorts firing phasers and torpedo's, mean while the USS Defiance under stealth came up near the hostile command ship "Captain we are approching the ship the spartains report ready shall i start and release?"
"Yes do it rember once we do it we have to get out on time", the rear bay on the Defiance opened up and small pods came out 10 pods altogether and went onto the hostile hull the Defiance's hull wavered into phase then cloaked again the ship moved away at full impluse after dispering an Anti-Proton burst disabling hostile sheilds for a few secvonds enough to get the 20 spartains on board....

"Gotcha." The missile turret and auto cannon operators said. Titus winced as the roar of the guns on his bridge burst outwards at the enemy ship they'd found on the Scanners. THe auto cannon operators however targetted the pods as their heavy weapons roared into action Titus grinned, "Are the marines ready?" A young Captain responded this time, "For the great father and Emperor sir they are more than ready." Titus nodded and ordered, "Make ready looks like the humans are attempting a boarding action." The captain nodded cocking his bolter and walked over to the bridges door speaking into his helmet intercom. On board the Command ship a hundred space marines genetic super soldiers all sized at eight foot tall made ready donning their strong power armour and saying their final pray to the the Emperor before making ready for any type of boarding action.

Over Earth the fighters moved apprantly unopposed from the main action as rockets and laser fire shot past them as they neared the Enemy Sat. "This is Red leader i got a lock on the Exhaust output of the CDF sat. Permission to fire?"
"Permission granted Red Leader you may open fire."
"Copy that command. Red 1, Red 1, FOX TWO!" With the final words six missiles shot out from the underslung wing mount MLRS weapon on the Terminatus fighter.

In Earths orbit as the incoming missile bombardment failed the crumberling fragments of the missiles gave way to a more deadly surprise. As the harmless debris fell on cities and military bases larger pieces seemed to fall randomly but were in fact guided to their landing zones. As they impacted they broke apart and the Cheamlin hidden inside stood up its cloak field activing as it did so. They had been sent in to cause mayhem and logisitic problems before the main invasion and they were truly deadly.

The pods auto-mated drilling started 9 pods made it. The Ships pannals were burned away as the pods cut in

Titus grinned at the unfolding battlefield in front of him. Six fighters had taken hits from a volley against them the others having engaged evasive manuvers in time to avoid it. The five ship combat wing that was there continued to fight volley after volley being fired at the enemy ships. And now the enemy fleet seemed to have moved on him and the fifty ships of the reserve force. Also they had fallen straight into his trap, "Tell Armageddon to uncloak and hit the enemy in the side." Titus ordered his aide. She nodded and then passed the order down to some Vox operators who quickly in turn sent the order along to the Armageddon. In a flash of an instant a further fifty ships had uncloaked behind and to the right of the enemy ships moving to engage Titus's command ship the Dreadnought. Immediatly from both forces Torpedos and lasers fired impacting on the enemy ships. Titus suddenly fell to the floor as a shudder of impacts hit the ship. "Damn! What was that?" He asked. The shield operators looked at him, "A Transperhic missile sir we held most off them off on the sheilds five managed to get through though don't worry ships hulls holding at 90% strength looks good." Titus nodded.

Titus grinned as his plan came together, "SIR!" A young operator nodded, "We got a hull breach in nine different locations on the ship." Titus's grin slipped from his face at this news he picked up an ship wide intercom mic, "Space Marine squads move to breach locations marked on your HUDs elimate all hostiles." The space marine squad leaders exchanged quick chat with their fellow leaders before the nine squads of ten marine spilt up to hit the enemy breach locations leaving the last ten as a fast reaction force.

"I see them colonel!" spoke the navigation soldier of the Russian shock brigade. He was sat in the Russian T-100 Tank, having spotted the enemy infantry and raising the alarm immediately. The world was now being invaded. Large tank columns, having been equipped with more modern weaponry that it had been only two years ago - the Russian tanks now boasted power.
"Excellent work comrade!" replied the Colonel standing behind the navigation soldier, patting him quickly on his back. "You heard him, comrades! We see them! We fight!"
The tanks picked up speed, gaining nearly 100mph, then they roared there missiles out of there long barrel of a tank and fired at the enemy. The beginning was here. Russian might was here.

This was fun! Invasion of earth already! It was predicted by High Command that the enemy will attempt to enter earth somehow. Anyway, something needed to be done to the enemy. The Russian shock armies had already felt the need to engage them - it was true. Russians do like violence! Europeans however preferred violence in the quick most destructive way, and that is whats going to happen. Of course, we can expect the enemy to pull a trick out and hide while we make our moves. That is what they will be remembered for! Running away from humans!
Anyway, at the Missile base in the Ural mountains; the European artillery command was giving orders for the next phase of attack. UAV's and other intelligence 'things' had spotted all enemy groups on earth. Now missiles will spot them.
Artillery command gave the order around the world. They have there targets, now to fire.
As usual, all around the world the large silo doors opened itself; and out came hell. Missile after missile poured out and rose high into the sky. All controlled from command. It was like a flight simulator! Except this was real air vehicles that will hit real... things. Before leaving earths atmosphere, the missiles then stopped rising and turned 180 degrees back towards earth. There targets were before them and as they fast fell towards them at light speed and upon collision; came the boom. Electric blue light appeared before the world as they collided. The devastation was of course massive and electricity became weapon. Parts of cities were getting destroyed by this; but that is what you do for the defence of the earth.

The cheamlins cloaks first of all went down with the missile impacts then came a massive roar of pain and suddenly the creatures exploded covering buildings and streets in blood. pieces of bone fired out at such a rate they psyhically took pieces of walls off as they flew past. The city strike forces were wiped out in minutes from the rocket impacts. The lucky ones in the rural areas seemed not to have been targetted and moved out their cloak fields hiding them from scanners and visual ID.

The group of Cheamlins grinned with grim statisfaction as the tanks fired upon the captured humans they'd set up. As the enemy tanks rolled forwards the stealthed creautres snuck up behind them and planted C4 and other high explosive charges on the rear of the tank moving to cover quickly before pressing the detonators they held in their hands and hearing the explosives go off. One Cheamilin found great joy in sneaking up behind an infantry soldier and stabbing him through the chest with its claws before ripping him in two.

The IPFMN ships began to move over Earth in their hanger bays men moved to transport ships. In total some twenty five ships had been destoryed by Earth defence networks now the remaing ones prepared their soldiers for the landings which would take place soon. As the ships moved over the planet the remaining Six Planet crackers moved into predesignated positions and took up targets on EF positions visible from orbit. As their officers looked at their digital displays Adrimal Titus sat on his flagships bridge watching the clock tick down to Six O'clock Earth UK time. "Send a message to the humans." He said to his aide, "I think message number 2332 should do." His aide nodded and walked away in her usual annoying fashion.

"Alright lads!!" he bellowed in broken French upon arriving at camp "Time to get going! The world is gonna be invaded for real! Get to your positions! Come on lads! Get moving!!"
The 700 were immediately jumping up, some sprinting and entering vehicles, others climbing into attack helicopters and others grabbing kit and equipping themselves. All this was happening in Argentina, Brazil, Iran, Russia, China, Europe, everywhere. The world was going on alert. Now was the time for reaction. Once the group was reading in Mexico, the European officer sat upon a tank and bellowed "Forward!", and with that order, the army moved off to the defence position that protects most of Mexico. All around the world, this was happening.
Above there heads, a light bluish haze was forming, the world-wide missile shield was . How long it would last is perfectly unknown...

The IPFMN ships moved slowly over the planet several smaller ships took repeated hits from the surface damaging or destorying them. Larger ones just shook off the explosives with their shileds or heavy plated hulls. As the bombardment began TItus looked at his clock, "Times out." He said into his radio. As the message crept across the fleet a sudden flash of bright light shot out from the six planet crackers directly at known missile bases in Russia and other countries.

As the bombardment began several men found their stomachs left behind as their transport ship suddenly dropped out from its place in their ships hanger bay and start shooting towards the ground at incredible speed. The 4 million strong force decended as a whole until it spilt after entering orbit dodging missiles all the way some ships took hits and desitergated into nothing. As the two groups spilt the Helghast and Space marine forces of the Imperuim began to descend on Europe whilst the Malaklan Elites and Grunts slowly descened onto America and Mexico. "War is hell." One man said his friend laughing at the joke.

The Earth was due to be scarred; with Luna gone the great oceans played their way of the world; gargantuan sea-walls saved a good majority of America from drowning; a reforged, rekindled neigh unstoppable America at that. The United States; they were united make no mistake. The Rebels who'd dared to suceed? They were Ash now; none defied the Will of America. "We will not reason, we will not speak; we will not stop. We will know nothing but the annihilation of those who dared to set foot on Terra. Those who dare to challenge Earth, die by our hands."

There were ships; then there were ships. This; this was a ship. The United States Ship Arkgon was the pinnacle of weapons design. Sixteen twenty four inch main guns bristled her hull; Particle Accelerator Cannons each and everyone of them. One thousand VLS-Cells specially designed for stellar combat filled to the bring with anti-shipping missiles; eight Photon Torpedo banks with six hundred torpedoes. What made her so deadly however was simple; her armor.

In addition to the sterotypical energy shields that covered her body there was what she was constructed out of herself: Unobtanium, strong? Impossibly so, almost invincible and quite simply put there were only four of her, Arkgon, Yamato, United States and Noah Grace; and they were the bane of existence for anything not human.

The Four Shields of Terra the Navy was calling them, waterborne and Space-borne they were annihilators of men; and anything else that fucked with America to put it bluntly. As one they rose from their docks, anti-gravity systems propelling them upward effortlessly until they were outside of the atmosphere itself, once in space powerful wave-motion engines propelled them forward like the great battleships of old; on lots and lots and lots of technological steroids.

Upon reaching the upper echelions the Americans sent out a message to their European counterparts. "The United States Army is mobilizing to it's maximum capability; as is the Navy, we will hold the line with you above as well as on ground. Godspeed."

M-60 Patton > M1 Abrams > M1-A2 Abrams > M-3A4 Predator; thousands and thousands of them. Railgun equipped fast moving heavily armored battle tanks of the United States Army along with American Power Armor Troopers armed with personal R-50 Railguns that could slaughter men and tanks alike; propelling projectiles into hypersonic speeds. These were the bulk of the new American forces, with the rebirth of America however did not change a tactic that had never failed them, such as the assembled taught: Shock and Awe. Which these interstellar freaks would learn and learn swiftly.

America was back; and they would not let Earth fall silently.

"This is Bravo breaking off from escort duties angerling towards Enemy hit signatures."
"Copy Bravo, This is Hotel Six continuing onwards to LZ these elites are getting edgy this is going to get ugly soon."

The fighter-bomber wing from Bravo broke off from the Hotel six transporters and moved hard and fast low over the ground to avoid RADAR detection as they neared close to the enemy base detected from orbital scans a rear gunner looked out across the landscape, "So this is America?" He asked no-one in particular. "Yep. Take a good look at those trees boys doubt the Malaklan will leave many of them here." The pilot said as the Six fighter combat wing crested a hill to find themselves looking at the base they'd detected. "Lock and load." The wing commander said and true to their training Rail gunners and gunnery cheifs on the fighter-bombers armed all their weapons. "HAHA! I got targets!" One man shouted as he aimed his gun down towards the ground taking aim he fired off a string of plasma rounds. After just those few shots the whole wing burst into fire rockets, bombs and laser and plasma fire tearing outwards towards the ground.

"Hotel Six we've opened fire don't know what on yet. How far out are you?" The wing commander asked into his mic.
"Commander we're still over water i'm trying to get this Emperor damned GPS thingy working. Out." The commander swore.

ORBIT CHAPTER SHIPS SPACE MARINE LAUNCH

The Space marines were dressed in their powerful power armour their hulking eight foot tall bodies rippled in it as they moved towards their drop pods. The marines loaded up into the pods and sat down. Each ten man squad had a pod of his own and now each man took his seat holding his bolter as he waited for the inevitable. Marines looked from side to side before they saw the huge metal doors of the pod close around them. The men waited their helmets vision lighting up the dark compartment then it came. The first and only sound the marines heard was the metal clank of the pod being pushed into it firing tube then the next thing they knew they were flying at speeds faster than the average space fighter through the Earth's atmosphere down towards the Planet. They had been designated to land in Mexico advance of an Imperial guard Armour corp. As they neared the ground the men grinned inside their helmeted waiting for the impact and for the metal door hatchs to drop down.

Following the major mass a few days ago, his holiness the Pope; Benedict XVI was being rushed to safety from the Vatican. He was planned to be hidden in the Italian mountains, a historic area that has kept many popes safe there. Now was the time to do it again. The Papal guard was overseeing the protection of the College of Cardinals and the Pope until the world crisis was over. Now, on the steps of St Peters Basilica, his holiness was being rushed into an armored black limousine with the Vatican's flags adorning the front. Italian police were keeping protesters from entering the square of the Vatican. Many terrorist attacks had been attempted on the Popes life. All failed.
Now, as the limousine departed the Vatican and took to the streets of Rome, the Pope looked out of the windows at the streets passing. Rome had now turned to chaos. Many Roman Catholics alike had believed this invasion of Earth was the revelation John the baptist had spoken of. Many had committed suicide. Others had just simply brought chaos. Others also attempted to kill the Pope, as an offering to Jesus Christ.
That minute, it happened.
The road that the limousine took to had a bomb strapped to a manhole. When the limousine passed over it, the bomb exploded. Although the limousine was armored, its undercarriage was not. Fire entered the vehicle from the bottom. The pope was killed.
With the end of the world, chaos in faith had also arrived.

As the Pope died the Space marine drop pods arrived. Twenty crashed into the heart of mexico city and as the doors dropped the marines poured out their bolters firing away at everything that moved they formed a circle and secured an LZ for the heavier transports to come down towards the secured landing zone whilst the Marines prepared for any type of attack the first heavy came down and dropped off several AA vechiles to help keep the site secure from Air attack.

Over Europe the first Space Marine legion or otherwise known as the World Eaters landed in the holy city of Rome. Their pods were blood red and held demonic sigils upon them. As their doors slowly dropped down no bolter fire shot out instead a fierce bestial roar filled the air and the legions marines surged forwards their chain-axes roaring for blood which they soon found in the vaciticans civilians. The axes multipiles teeth spun as they cut through the human flesh. As the vanguard went to its bloody business the rear guard began to appear and locked and loaded its bolter rifles as they tracked for any hostile Euro targets.

One thing obviously invaders never seem to take into mind when attacking a planet on a massive scale is perhaps the most basic undoing of their enfeebled attempts to annihilate or subjugate the life on that planet. Planetary Defense Batteries; a structure that the Americans took extremely seriously.

Ion Turrets similar to those mounted on the Yamato-class Space Battleships pointed skyward along with hyper-sonic and faster than light missile systems all of which; and that does mean all four thousand installations across the North American Continent from Alaska to Florida rippled through the skies above, the atmosphere even as the beams cut through the swaths of drop pods within their hemi-sphere wide range.

Mexico City would see a probably drop in the pods that didn't get torched for surely, the multi-atmospheric fighters that the Imperium dared touch America with? Stricken from the skies by those aforementioned missile batteries; hopefully anyway. Nothing was certain as the defenses went off in tandem to strike down as many as possible.

The Army in the mean time had prepared and fortified for the coming storm of Space Marines in America-proper; no attempt was made to advance into Mexico, indeed if anything there was naught but a feeling of 'keep them out'. Fortress America existed once more, and none yet again were welcomed among the hallowed ranks.
