The edge of the Terran system began to bulk and shift and then suddenly a massive rip appeared in the very fabric of space and out of the warp the Imperuim of Peace for Mens first combat fleet rolled through. The fleet numbered some 300 ships all armed to the teeth with men, space marines and weapons to do something that had been on the planning table for quite sometime. The extinction of the human race. Gun crews ran to their stations as the warp sirens blared and soon the fleet was combat ready as it rolled into the system it began to start tracking for targets. The crews and soldiers all grinned, "10 hours till within Earth strike range." A Female computer voice said. The Imperial guard troopers cheered at this and the marines just shook their heads.

Air raid sirens sounded throughout all of earth. In every major city or populated area, the sound of the air raid used so many times rang out as if death was calling. They had received the precautions of what to do when the sirens sounded. Go to the nearest meeting area and be directed to the vaults from there. This is what many civilians and peoples of earth did. Some made desperate phone calls to there parents: saying that they love them and will meet them at the vault, others demanding that there money be kept safely in there bank during this crisis. Either way, orderly chaos ensued. The many nations police force stood around keeping peace and order, all armed and ready to defend there designated areas when needed. People were rushing off to there safety, there families, there new homes for god knows how long...

These command were relayed again and again to all forces stationed around the earth. The European, Irish and Russian forces were sent to different parts of the world that will be critical to defend earth from enemy forces. Europa-command will act as the main ground defence of earth, also coordinating operation doomsday when the correct time was right. Chancellor Aringarosa was also in Military Headquarters. He was a Colonel during the Cold War and did action during the august war in 1984, now he will do action in the 2012 war.

The main European and its allied forces have been mobilized and stationed at many points around the world. High speed plane and sea links enables all forces to get around the world and defend all positions. The grand Euro air system have been placed on high alert as well as the long range nuclear missiles. The European Space Agency has begun fast production of nuclear powered space aircraft capable of staying in orbit over earth as well as in earth. Long range high destructive missiles will equip the new space ship. Unlike the British space ships, the new European ship is smaller and much more harder to see than the ships of Britain's.
Meanwhile, the European Government apart from the Chancellor has moved from Strasbourg to a more secure area to continue to rule the nation peacefully but in the knowledge that no harm will come to them. People already are entering the vaults and the world national databases are ticking off who has arrived. This is helping many families meet up. The national guard which comprises of four thousand men per vault (volutarily from the people equipped with military assault rifles and the latest gear needed to counter alien or Helghast lifeforms. Defence of these vaults comprises of many weapons, in it, around it, under it and above it. These vaults will serve as the peoples homes until the end of the war. Anything to counter anything were being built in large numbers and useful places. By the end of the war, the European bank will probably be nearly bankrupt...

Helghast Adrimal John Titus looked at his report screen, "All of them?" The Servitor next to him clicked and whistled and soon several words appeared on his screen, "Yes all civilain life signs have vanished from built up areas." Titus smacked his hand down on the arm of his chair. "Earth orbit in one hour." The Female voice said again. "We come for the Great father and the emperor." Titus began to spread the words of the Imperial cult not just to his own fleet but on the civilian networks on Earth below, "Your kind affends The God Emperor and as such an Exterminus has been called upon this world. All peoples upon this planet shall be removed and the God Emperor shall bring his great mercy upon those souls and ours. Humans will be gone by the time the sun next rises." With that the 300 ships all made ready...

Fourth vault nearby Point Blanc, Early Morning
Some babies were crying while other families gathered together, sharing there love to each other; others worrying like mad attempting to contact the other vault containing the rest of there families. It was comfortable in the vaults, just no one wanted to get comfy. There was going to be a major war out there and they may not have an idea until too late. Security was extremely tight. Hundreds of the national guard had positions all around each vault to keep order and protect the people. There were major security traps set in the earth, around it and above the vault in the air to counter any enemy assault on each vault.
Just as the people were starting to settle down, and some exhausted were drifting off to there quarters to sleep, the place started to vibrate. Babies started to cry harder and the people looked around in fright, was it the invasion already? But no, two miles away; on the main ESA base in the mountains, the war ship created with speed was being launched...

In the command tower at ground level, all the operatives were giving orders, shouting to check valves, all to be ready, everything. Today was the first European launch of the war ship. The war ship will exit the earth's atmosphere and assist the massive Commonwealth fleet currently proudly defending earth's borders. Right now, it needed to get out of earth.
The vibration of the ships main point before launch was hectic, some trees were falling and many who knew nothing of the launching war ship thought of an earthquake! But no, it only lasted for half a minute as the supports of the war ship fell away and the thing itself; another defender of earth took off, climbing higher and higher in the air. After four minutes, it entered space.

Strasbourg
The place was silent. Not a person in sight. Instead, the only signs of life were the army officials exiting Defence headquarters. Chancellor Aringarosa was one of them, Minister Stauffenberg the other. All were deep in conversation. They were going to be moved to a more secure place in the current crisis. The security of Strasbourg will not be something for the Chancellor and Minister of Defence. Instead, the city will have a garrison of troops to protect it from the invasion. Every city, town and even village will have some sort of garrison to act as a barrier to enemy forces so they may not just walk in. They are equipped with the newest of technology: the new E3000 assault rifle and the lightweight spider web uniform that has the possibility to defend from any bullet or even the slice of a sword! Troops are all being vaccinated too to protect against any disease or virus sent or caught by the invading scum. The people of the earth will stay pure after this war!

"Sir enemy targets detected awaiting your orders." The Scanner operator looked up from his Pict display at Titus. "Any ships within firing range?" He asked the Op. The Operator looked over the friendly signuatures in the near area. " We got three ships two NHR and One Elite." Titus stroked his chin thinking for a second or two, "Tell them to move into firing posisitions their cleared hot. Also reports on Grunt asteroid trajectories?" Titues responded to the Operators report. The Operator looked over at someone on the other side of the bridge, "Ten minutes sir before we'll have a clear shot on the LZ." Titus nodded, "Prepare all weapons we're going in hot."

The fleet continued to move forwards with the three most forward ships taking aim at a Human ship just at the rims of their gun range, "Cleared hot!" A Vox Operator said placing his headset down on top of the communications unit. Captain Tiakus grinned at this news, "Prime all weapons and prepare to fire. Also make sure the elites get something they do complain some." The Vox operator nodded returning to his set and messagering the three ships under Tiakus' command. The NHR Space Marine chapter vessels Armageddon and Strike fist and the Malaklan Elite ship the Deadilus. The three ships weapons began to prepare and take aim on the lone human vessel...

The Lone Ship the USS Lonesome had en-counter engine problems, although what the NHR found odd was the lack lifesigns

"Send the coded message to the automated computer on USS Lonesome have fire a volly of Photon and Quantom torpedos and as many phaser rounds on diffrant settings as possible"

"Captain the lonesome is firing we will recive data soon....."

"SHIELDS!" Shouted the Captains of the vanguard units as the enemy torpedos impacted on the hasitdly preped shields. On the Armageddon the bridge shook under the impact and the crew fell from their machines. The Captain stood up first asking a question, "Now why would a human crew fire a volley at three ships when its by it lone. Return fire! Sheilds strength?" The Crew looked at their screens and hit a few bottons and from the three ships a volley of NHR rockets and torpedos launched out back towards the enemy vessel. "Sir Sheilds on all ships are holding at 80% minor damage on the Elite ship minor fin damage but all ships holding strong. Munitions away from all and nearing impacting zone."

"Sir enemy vessels found massing near our sectors." The operator looked up at his officer. "Keep an eye on it and report it to Titus." The Officer responded. The Operator nodded and began to do as ordered. "This war is just starting up."

the USS Lonesome's sheilds reduced the damage and the computer sent data back to the Enterprise before completing its next command to fire a full spread of Phasers which it did brillant orangey-yellow light hit the oppants sheilds...

"Shields holding." The Operator said looking at his computer screen before the officer shouted, "FIRE!" Another volley of Torpedos, rockets and now lasers shot back at the enemy. Impacting on the enemy ship the captains felt confident with this strike but knew war was always full of unexpected surprises. "Sir our marines have loaded up into their boarding torpedo's awaiting for the enemy sheilds to drop." The officer nodded as the small fire fight continued.

"Brillant just what we wanted" On board the lonesome the Sheilds suddenly reset to full setting with full power the ships warp drive came on and it warped to earth

"Well we need not have to try and get the current co-ordinates of Earth's orbit pattern now do we boys?" Titus said as the Sitrep came in from the Armagedon. The men laughed at this news. "Gentlemen set course for these co-ordinates humans should learn if they want to keep us slow they need to not warp when we have a lock on." The 300 ships of the NHR and Elite fleet changed course and began to move at faster speeds towards Earths current location which had been unknown to them as of its orbit pattern around the sun.

"This is Europa Space Command to Euro-ship Alpha" The leading commander of the first space ship spoke through the mouth piece to the space ship out in space. "You have clearance to engage, all defences have been transported, all shields have been upgraded and are at full status, all canons are armed and ready. You are ready to go, best of luck." The commander signed off.
The crew inside Euro-ship alpha walked to there positions. Most behind computers. Before, the Euro-ship had been orbiting the earth, waiting. Waiting until they can take there part in defending earth. Now, the Euro-ship was leaving orbit and heading at speed towards the enemy fleet. It came into sight and the Euro crew gave the order to fire. Across its front and sides, thirty flying missiles erupted from the hull and flew towards the enemy fleet. They collided, and exploded.

"Sir hostile ship has engaged the Defiance. Caught them off guard 40% damage reported. Your orders?" The young aide asked in a rather bored voice as she played with her hair. Titus groaned mentally to himself 'Why did they send me this bitch!?' he asked himself before responding, "Send the Armageddon over they've just finished an engagement with the Terrans they should be ready to engage another group." The aide nodded and sent the orders. A few miles away a ship broke off from the main group and the chapter ship Armageddon once more moved in to engage the human ship that had damaged the Defiance which now limped at the rear of the massive armada. As the Armageddon came into range and view of the enemy craft a message came through to Captain Tikus, "Captain this is Adrimal Titus. The fleet is blinking cross system to Earth's current location in orbit of the sun we should appear behind the moon join us there when your finished." Titus hung up after saying the orders and before tikus could respond.

As the Armageddon began to return fire on the human vessel which had appeared the 299 remaining ships of the fleet vanished in a flash of blinding light as they entered a sharp portal and moved across the Sol system to appear in location behind the Moon. The fleet's many captains counted their blessings with the god Emperor Visari for their luck of not crashing into the moon. Well most of them for four captains their luck seemed to have run out as four ships crashed full on into the moon destorying it in a miscalculation of jump arrival location and other minor factors.

"What are those things...?" muttered one of the crewmen operating the left side of the ship as it ever neared the enemy ship.
"That, my lad, is an enemy ship." Replied the captain of the ship, standing at the main control area. "And enemy ships have only one objective to its enemies. Capture, or demolition. Let us go with the latter." He then shouted to all the crew. "Let us now take matters in our own hands and use the nuclear weapon in space for the first time!"
The crew were dumbstruck. Using the nuclear weapon would mean the destruction of its own ship also. Nevertheless, it was planned out that this will happen. They had said goodbyes to there parents, given there love to there family, and set out on the first European space mission. That could also be its last.
The Euro-ship began to pick up speed. The enemy ship was getting so close. Damage was already on the Euro-ship and its time until an air leek or something was very soon. But as soon as the Euro-ship was near enough to the enemy ship, the crew ordered the detonation of the nuclear weapon. It did detonate. It did explode. Space got its first taste of nuclear weapons. The damage was not known. There were no European spacemen left...

European missile command, Swiss Mountains
"Oh my god..." one of the navigation crewmen gasped as it looked into its aerial intelligence of the world and the space around it. There was something there that brought fright to the crewman's face... He quickly dialled the emergency number on the phone next to him and spoke hurriedly into it. "Yes, I've just seen the intelligence of part G48 of earth aerial intelligence... there's a lot of them. They are near..."
Two minutes later, all around the world, the alarm was raised. The enemy force was nearing earth.
The missile shields were on high alert. Any object, anything that fell from the earth at whatever speed will be shot down immediately. The world defence grid was being turned on. And all armies of the world were being notified of the enemies near presence. It was said that some could see many tiny bright shapes. The evidence of the nearing enemy...

The Armageddon felt the shockwave impact and then the ship went black. "What the hell just happened!" Shouted Tikus at his crew on board the bridge of the ship. "Nuclear EMP sir. Knocked our sheilds offline and ah hell. We've lost two of our engines and the hanger bay has been flooded with Radiation. Life just got more difficult." The operator looked at Tikus with a mild grimance and then collasped as blood ran out of his nose.

In orbit of Earth the Fleet looked at their scanners, "Enemy ships are currently missing but they'll be here soon sir. Your orders?" Titus looked at the gathered assembly in front of him. "We wait i feel that we should show them our might above them first then maybe intimidate them into an early surrender. Or maybe we shall just bomb them into oblivion." The assblmbled officers grinned.

"Yes ve ave" spoke a Frenchmen
"Good" spoke the capptain "Close the channal"

Earth Orbit

"Sir got enemy ships moving to engage they just appeared on the scope now." Titus looked over the shoulder of the Scanner operator. He stroked his beard. "Numbers?" The operator looked at his scope and fiddled with a few dials and then turned to answer his superior, "Unknown yet sir. Intel reported that the CDF forces we were expected to face number a few 150 ships but we have yet to be able to confirm that number." Titus nodded at this report. "Open fire and charge our sheilds EMP and otherwise. Fleet wise order." The Imperial fleet turned to face the new threat and saw the enemy ships in visual appear just near the crest of the Earth. Immediatly guns began to charge and other weapons began to be made ready for combat.

The Imperial fleet scanned for a while before checking off its final list, "Sir all enemy vessels in system detected the fleets formed up and it now engaging the human sat network and nearby fleet." Titus nodded. In orbit around his ship a sudden roaring sound took place and the space around Earth was soon full of torpedos, turbo lasers, Auto cannon, rocket and other weapons fire. The captains and gunners all grinned with excitment at the chance to use their guns.

War had truely begun and now the world would learn the might of the Imperuim...

In the next room was the tactical command far quieter very little talking "Omega move to vector 2.31.67"
"Roger command moving to vector 2.31.67"
"Alpha, enterprise for up get those ships of our satnets"
"Command we are moving to secure that vector"
"Morning Glory turn to fire"
"Thrusters on moving and fireing"

In space the Enterprise moved with its escorts to engage hostile ships moving towards the sats they attacked firing phasers and torpedos.

Battle Group Omega moved in to attack the main attack force torpedos going everywhere impacting on all hostile vessasls the dships moved in and the USS Voyager Flagship opened fire.

All shields held on the ships as they turned to engage the enemy ships that had now returned fire. They fired back their own volleys of torpedos and rockets. Laser fire was returned as well. Not all ships were lucky enough though to have their sheilds hold as the old and outdated frigate Mass Gate took fire from six different ships and exploded in a great ball of light.

As the ships attacking the sats moved their hanger bays opened and swarms of fighter ships moved out to engage a moving statilite that was designated as high priority target number 1. As they neared they opened up fire with lasers and rockets moving around the station as they did to avoid any anti-ship fire.

Scenes of hurry and business were in each and every missile station today. They had been keeping watch over the enemies attack on the so called satellite. In fact it was not a satellite. The remaining real satellites had either been downed into the atmosphere of earth or taken with the defence of the Commonwealth fleet. Now was the time to react to the enemies onslaught of earth.
The silo doors on each missile base all around earth opened its doors to hell and out fired light bluish lasers, all having there targets and immediately gaining contact with them; destroying them in the air. Debris did fall sadly and some come on cities. Of course, although the majority of the enemies first wave of missiles and lasers had been stopped, the second onslaught might be lucky but that it will not be known until time comes.

Superintendent Aurora Abbot was a busy girl during war. Being in command of all Euro-forces in Russia, she had a lot on her plate. Well, every commanding officer around the world did at these times of struggle. It did not help her load during the morning patrol along the military part of the Ural mountains that five formal black military helicopters was nearing the area. All bearing the European crest. The five helicopters landed nearby, immediately dismounting the European guard; a collection of French and German soldiers that defends the European parliament and the Chancellor. Following the guards were some high ranking Generals and Chancellor Aringarosa himself. Abbot stood to attention. Although being fairly short for a French-American, her air of authority was helpful as the Generals and Aringarosa recognized her. They returned the salute with less enthusiasm.
"Gentlemen" she spoke with a slight American accent but in French. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"
"The European and allied commanders of this war will be residing in the Ural mountains for the duration of this conflict Superintendent" spoke one of Generals pushing past her deep into the military base.
"But I thought it was safe in the Swiss Mountains?" spoke Abbot with surprise.
"I'm afraid not" spoke the Chancellor for the first time, giving Abbot a calm glance. "The Swiss Mountains seem too weak to handle the defence of the governments. Especially when its already been used by... another thing. The doomsday vault deep in the Ural mountains will provide us with safety most certainly; with its defence's. We apoligise for the interruption"
"Not at all" replied Abbot, snapping to attention then marching off to continue the patrol.
Aringarosa and the military Generals walked in the opposite direction to the vault. Upon entering, they immediately got to work.
In the Swiss Mountains, military activity was increasing deep within themselves.
