Postby Sierra Apathia » Sun Jul 12, 2009 6:54 am

OOC: any Leader is invited, just provide an RP of your leader coming into our nation.
Sierra Apathia celebrates its national day today with a stunning display of several performances. Jim Stone welcomed leaders from various countries, including Italia Orientale, Garmidia, Lizadiar, and many many others. After his state visit of Garmidia, Jim Arrived early morning today, and missed several hours of sleep it seems, as he will be faced with many of the world's greatest performers, as well as leaders!

Palmouth's Queen Mary I makes a statement:

"We at Palmouth cannot make today's event. But we are very happy that your country is celebrating Independence Day today. As a member of the AMO, we would like to thank you for your support in the last few days, as this has been a hard time for us. We look forward to working with your government in the future. As a thank you, Lady Madonna, Palmouth's greatest singer, will be performing a concert for you today. Good luck and have a great day".

President Sam Philips was sitting in his jet plane as it flew to Sierra Apathia. Just a day before, Sierra Apathian President Jim Stone had visited Garimidia on a historical meeting in Dastin City, historical for Garimidia-Sierra Apathian relations. Now Philips sat on his plane, ready to visit for their Independence Day. He had received word that other heads of state were coming as well, and was excited.

The Plane touched down at an airport in Sierra Apathia, and Philips was escorted to the venue where the main celebration was taking place and where Jim Stone was.

The first celebration began. The crowds roared as the impressive Karl Khan, whom was now exempted from any criminal charges, placed the national anthem. Most people stood up and honored, some were busy doing their business. After that, Jim shook Sam's hand, and directed Sam to the seat beside him. "Nice to see you here again Sam! Come, get a drink, we can look at the impending celebrations!" said Jim, while picking up his phone to call his other friend.

Philips looked around. "It's a beautiful country!" He exclaimed, remembering such scenery from the plane, over the roar of the crowds. "And thanks, I think I will grab a drink." Philips went forward to pour himself a beer from the selection, and he went back and took his seat overlooking the humongous crowds. Philips was excited and couldn't wait for Garmidias' independence day, January 20.

"Why yes, this is the fruit of our national programs!" laughed Jim, while watching the performance. Beautiful, he thought. 13,000 Performers, one arena. Very crowded, and full of action. The parade is scheduled to begin soon.

The Prime Minister of the People's Republic of the Grand Soviet could not attend the festivities. While it had been planned for the Prime Minister to attend during her 14 nation good will tour. An attempted coup de tat has forced the Prime Minster to cut her tour short and return home to address the situation. Our nation wishes you well during your independece day celebration and toward working together in the future to forge a working partnership.

Philips took his seat, awaiting the impending celebrations. He looked to the left, and aside from the obvious Secret Service from both countries, there were so many excited people, men, women and children. He couldn't wait for the main parade to begin, he thought, as he sipped his beer.
