Obviously need to clarify a few things.

My last communication was a video put on a loop stating that we want all ships to stand down in the name of friendship and their lives.

Now my technology is apparently much more advanced (it seems) than the solar technology.

Now the only one who payed close enough attention was OMG, I would please like to ask everyone in the future to throughly read all the posts before posting.

Remember though this is meant to turn into a war. so coming in and wanting friendly relations isnt something your going to get any Person from the outside of Sol is gunna be treated as a Xeno Human or not the poeple of sol just arnt very friendly and tbh mostly up their own ass's The Russians have taken steps to make sure we are all shit scared of anything that isn't Sol and it's colonies.

Also Our technology may seem rustick and old but thats just the style of the Genre we play. We play men with muskets firing in line formations! but this muskets are actually extremely powerful rail guns that can put big ass gaping holes in tanks! our ships whilst looking like something from the late 19th-early 20th century are actually incredibly advanced and tailored to the way we usually fight each other. we are a fractured union, but when it comes to the home world being threatened then we will unite.

God knows what the French and Austrians are doing, some divine catholic thing lol xD But yeh if you look at mine or OMG's naval fact book you will find a low down of Our naval technology and stuff like that... i don't think mines as full as OMG's is but yeh. we are imperialistic hence why we are called the Earth Empire. We do things on the Grand scale you'll see!

As mentioned by FS_America, EE's technology just looks primitive. A linear musket will, presuming it hits, put a hole through one side of even an FT tank and out the other. We have advanced FTL technology, all manner of lovely steampunk gizmos and so on. The main 'weakness' if you can call it that, is that it's designed almost exclusively to fight other EE states.

I understand just saying Your Railguns won't really be penetrating my Phase Shielding with just a few volleys.

Also while it is meant to be a war, it isn't supposed to directly become like that, I want Politics, Economics, and such to be a factor as well.

Well now that your enjoying French hospitality you will get the chance to speak amicably with FS on Venus. We french are fine hosts when it comes to this sort of things. There will be plenty of time for either side to take grievous offense and start a war.

Dont worry Dino, the sort of hornet's nest that can get riled up near lawless Pluto can not occur in Venus. And if any trouble makers try to interfere with the talks, well...they will be playing with fire.

As far as all EE nations treating anyone outside Sol, well that is probably true of second tier nations that seldom leave the system. But France, of course has much more exposure to Alien nations, we have come to find that Germans are much more alien and barbaric then most outsiders.

I jumped into the war thread because France has one of the dominant navies in SOL, if the japs and americans have Cruisers hanging around as far out as Pluto, France has stuff there too. Not to mention when an unknown race shows up, identify's themselves as a diplomatic mission, it is uncivilized in the least for the reaction to be "Get the hell out". Guess it is up to France to show that EE earth nations are not neo-barbs.

As far as this whole shebang turning into a war, that is fine if thats where certain parties want to take it. It is just blowing the hell out of a diplomatic vessel, after America carelessly sent out a drone that is prone to kamikaze seems, hollow. If France, or ANY member of the Cytherean Alliance is to commit to a war against an outside power our justification had better be a LOT better than that we killed some couple thousand civilians because our deep space probs are retarded, and that we destroyed a diplomatic mission. It makes us look like A-Holes.

Im going to run along the line that the Sat that hit the cruiseship was pre-war great war before shit hit the fan and America was a world power with a massive Space program.these Sats have basically been forgotten about, and most of them have malfunctioned and been taken off course by w.e ever means.

I plan to play ignorance in the way my nation has no idea what the hell they are on about and sees them as accusations against my nations honour.

Does this apply to me? Because I don't think my post was that straightforward. In fact, I'm currently making a conscious effort to stick to the Japanese rules of hospitality as opposed to going into Tyrannia mode, that is to say, respond as my main MT and FT nations do, effectively by obliterating your ships and planets at the drop of a coin. Also, I have to warn you, leaving the Japanese and co to fight your battle while cosying up with the Japs' biggest enemy really isn't going to go down well in Tokyo. Especially as France has banned 'hostile' (that is to say, 'undesirable') nations from observing the event- that means Japan. Though obviously the Japanese would never attack a diplomatic envoy; that would go against every protocol and custom they have.

No I was wasn't referring to you, I was talking about other FT RPs. Also I have a plan to back you guys up, don't worry.

Well OT, I have not banned "Hostile" nations. I have banned warships from nations that are not in the Cytherean Alliance from Venus orbit. This is just general policy. I do not trust any nation implicit that is not a part of the alliance. A single Frigate in orbit of Venus could suddenly and without warning C-frac the planet. Paranoid, maybe, but a prudent precaution, definitely. Look at the radioactive ruins of many a french city for justification of this paranoia.

Japan, is certainly welcome to send an unarmed diplomatic mission, to observe the talks, as other nations have chosen to do. Right now Dino just wants to talk with FS, so that is what the French are going to enable as hosts of this little conference. Things may expand and the observers could become participants.

What could be a grievance against the EE is Aagartha's intention of expanding its economic interests, and possibly territorial ones too, in the Senthani Sector that either disrupt EE's outer system activities or its economies. Just food for thought. But keep in mind, haven't gotten to that point where I'm discussing with Dino about these plans so you'll have time to work things up into a shitstorm.
