They kept throwing themselves at the Kai de Roan base of Larq de Monta. Whole groups of sapient machines called Synths fired on the defenders, only to be cut down in the open streets by machine gun and mortar fire. Sergeant Garmeen Rolf tried his best to eliminate as many as he could, but the new leader of Larq de Monta and his 36 remaining men couldn't hold the Synths off forever. They were in desperate need of support, but who could they ask? The capital of Grenapar had been invaded and virtually abandoned a couple of weeks ago. No one had seen it coming; every major city was in disarray and almost under complete control of the Synths.
As Garmeen cut down the last Synth of this wave, he noticed more movement to the right of a large, abandoned skyscraper. A woman? She was running extremely fast, faster than any normal human could. She was definitely human, though. Garmeen suddenly realized that she was a Hyloid, with Synth implants, but at least human at the core. Some Hyloids, though, had gone berserk, so Garmeen was prepared to shoot her. She stopped in the middle of the road and put her hands up. "I am not an enemy!" she yelled. The fact that she wasn't shooting anything caught Garmeen's attention. "Open up the gate!" he ordered. "Let her in!"
OOC: Basically, you can do anything. Have someone in the country at the time of the rebellion, talk about it in your government meetings, etc. Just don't RP as the Synths. I have a basic storyline in place that should be revealed in the next few posts. After that, I will introduce the antagonist. Only use your nation as it would be 70 years from now. Have fun!
