Latest intelligence reports suggest that the rebels in Vandengaarde have taken their capital city and executed 20,000 Catholics in one day. The rebels have also declared war on all Catholic nations. The National Assembly held an emergency meeting an hour ago, with His Imperial Majesty in attendance. The National Assembly unanimously passed a non-binding resolution condemning the actions of the rebels in Vandengaarde. The resolution also maintained the Edwardian principle of non-violent solutions even in the face of such grave evil. The Emperor has accordingly notified the Imperial Coast Guard to maintain vigilance and carry out all defensive operations necessary to safeguard the Empire of Edvardus.

We at the eastern side are appalled by the amount of those who support secession and the deaths of thousands, perhaps millions. The East has not seceded, it is, in fact, the West who has. To those wondering, the favored political party of the West is a completely Nazi-like regime, complete with the persecution of those who are not like the majority. Minorities will be executed in masses the day they win (if they are permitted to have a complete victory, that is). The Westerners are very evil people, who will stop at nothing to ruin the nations around them. It is best that the East is able to prosecute those who started all of this, but without support, it can't happen.

Due to it's necessary military service that means 1 million new soldiers
So therefore Letzen is dipatching a missle cruiser with army and navy soldiers ready to give hell to the west unless:
We find the East is to blame for the conflict
The west will win even with international support
There will be less casualties civilian and military if the west wins

Leavatia is starting military actions as we speak. The LSF high command believes that this civil war might be a long and bloody one, so they have asked the Empress for more support if the situation worsens. Although the Empress doesn't support the Westerners who are brandishing nukes around, she does think that they deserve and autonomous region in the west so they will not be persecuted for not liking socialism and Catholics, cause everyone is entitled to their opinion.

OOC: it isn't over. no one is replying so I decided to up the ante; the western side is the "evil" side, by the way, not "me". I am the eastern side.

2,000 nuke-proof tanks are ready for deployment when the government of Eastern Vandengaarde gives approval . Use of the tanks for any reason besides fighting Western Vangaarde will be seen as an act of war and result in a shift of help from Eastern Vandengaarde to Western Vandengaarde.

I approve all support coming our way. The West will be crushed under the power proposed by you nations. We apologize for infrequent updates; as you understand, we are at war. The sports dome where our leader was to be hanged collapsed, and we assume it was the West in fear of the power coming to stop their evil ways. The nefarious deeds done by them can never be erased, however, and we must stop the crack in the peaceful nation we once were before it splits us all apart, with deep trenches too large to cross. Wait, I am getting a transmission from them. (Turns on monitor) It seems we have found our leader, near dead, in an abandoned warehouse. He will be recovered shortly, meanwhile, we await support. The building I am in, an apartment building owned by a nice family, is, despite my calmness, being broken in to as I write. I don't fear the bandits, rebels, whoever they are, but worry for their sanity. Many high officers from our military are dead. I trust that we shall take back this glorious nation, but worry for the stain it will put on the ever-expanding quilt that time is; it is one that most likely can not be washed out but requires the square of fabric to be replaced by a new one, clean and smooth.

The men in a building across from me are looking at the Eastern side of our country, where support is coming from. They seem rather excited. But for all I know they could be spies. Anyone could be. I have a sneaking suspicion that our Treasurer is a spy; he has been seen going to the warehouse Sir Vincent has been found in. He is not being taken in to custody, for he has traveled abroad to the country of Calastaniveria, one not recognized by most of the world, because it is a cruel dictatorship. Rather suspicious, isn't it? Though you may believe he is a spy yourself now, many believe otherwise. Some say he went there to escape violence. I believe otherwise. I have been accused of coups recently. I don't think accusations are fair, personally, when based on unfounded beliefs, but then again, maybe I am up to things I don't know about?
