Country is split in half!

Vandengaarde was a country that admired itself for its socialist values and the socialist party getting a vote percentage of 90%. However, a small group of rebels wants to change this. Sided with the revolutionary Western half of Vandengaarde, they wish to split the country in to two so that their favored form of government can be chosen. Great Leader Vincent Verenteli knows that, if split, a civil war will erupt in vandengaarde. Therefore he wishes to have the support of many nations to bring them back together! The first few skirmishes after the Westerners decided to secede resulted in heavy losses for the Eastern residents, and the enemy is nearing the capital building in Boriselvia.

Prime Minister George D. Fernello believes in the Western side's values and is planning a large coup involving an assassination plot and the deaths of thousands of innocent men and women; this is known because a message was intercepted from Fernello to conspirators from the West. They cannot stop him and the takeover alone, and they believe the country would benefit as a whole; the eastern side is industrial and relies on the Westerners for agricultural products, and the Westerners get products from the East.

"If I am assassinated, the country will have more than one side fighting. The East will break up as well! We can not let this happen! Vandengaarde deserves to be one country, under one ruler, and one economy. That way, no "countries" created by this will be in poor condition," says the Great Leader.

So, how many nations are bold enough, no, GREAT enough to fight to keep an obscure population from falling in to turmoil!?

We at the eastern side are appalled by the amount of those who support secession and the deaths of thousands, perhaps millions. The East has not seceded, it is, in fact, the West who has. To those wondering, the favored political party of the West is a completely Nazi-like regime, complete with the persecution of those who are not like the majority. Minorities will be executed in masses the day they win (if they are permitted to have a complete victory, that is). The Westerners are very evil people, who will stop at nothing to ruin the nations around them. It is best that the East is able to prosecute those who started all of this, but without support, it can't happen.

OOC: it isn't over. no one is replying so I decided to up the ante; the western side is the "evil" side, by the way, not "me". I am the eastern side.

The Empress has decided to send 100,000 soldiers (more are mobilized if needed) of the LSF and 20,000 Loyal Defenders to aid what's left of the easterners. And in light of the nuclear threats, she has had the missile defense systems put on high alert.

The naval and air force branch of the LSF will also send 2 battle groups and 100 various types of plains to support the socialist easterners.
