As we all know Nationstates takes the way you answer issues and uses this to establish what your government's priorities are (AKA the amount of emphasis placed on certain areas in your budget). Is it considered acceptable to RP in a manner which contradicts your established "Budget"?
Let me explain what I mean. According to NSEconomy, 34% of Rosengarde's budget is dedicated to social welfare. This occured due to the WA's passing of the Food Welfare Act, which turned my country from a capitalist paradise to an inoffensive centrist democracy. While this is fine with me (indeed, my nation improved in my eyes in most areas) my nicely balanced budget was suddenly dominated by social welfare. Though I am a left of centre sort of guy, I absolutely detest so much social welfare. Once I am done building the background for my country, I'd like to start roleplaying and I would hate to roleplay with a nation so dedicated to social welfare.
Is it acceptable for me to violate the bounds of Nationstate's evaluation of my budget, and essentially create my own budget?
