I may find them a bit irritating, but I don't find them worthy of an actual IGNOREing. Ralkovia, on the other hand, uses his supersoldiers in a pitifully futile attempt to flaunt how awesome he is. They ruin RP and therefore I'll just IGNORE them whenever they show up unless he can prove to me that they're going to add to the RP instead of detract from it.

What about my "supersoldiers?" Praetorians have commonly been accepted as both realistic and interesting to RP as, spawning a couple of successful threads and frequently re-occurring characters (they are simply humans with advanced weapons and training.)
Conclave Templar/Paladins, on the other hand, are more difficult to classify, I've never used them in a combat situation, hell, I've never RPed as one at all (they've never even spoken yet) they are used in a sort of off-camera duty, but from the information I tell you is that they are far superior to Praetorians in every way, and that they wear full combat body armor (looking identical in most ways to the Jin-Roh Soldiers.) How would you say I could RP them as interesting? They are supposed to be kidnapped as small children and trained practically at birth to fight, while being brainwashed into blindlessly loving The Federation and Her Allies, that can leave some serious social and emotional scars...

Ralkovia wrote:You obviously are begging for a death guard curb stomp. Death Guard are trained almost since birth in the Kagetoranian Mts. They are of the Hadii warrior tribe and have sworn to protect the royal family. Its too late right now for me to properly explain but the death guard are elite troops. Super soldiers come from the fact that fatigue, shell shock, wounded comrades, etc. have little effect on them. They have some implants but nothing much more than what we can do now.

Now my Troopers are good, no doubt but I inplaced faults and limitations on them so they would not be a godmod. all super soldiers should have fualts and limits. My armor is not a limitation in terms of bulkiness because its lightwieght and leaves joints un hendered, plus with the added components it would be easy for my troopers to get up. as they couldn't lay flat on their backs. My limitations are that my troopers have a limited combat time as they have to be refited and rearmed. A fualt would be that they have no emotions. And without those they put themselves into situations where they would be killed with ease, like traps and ambushes, becasue they do know fear. A quick thinker and good typer should have no problem combating my guys.

Typically speaking, a fault shouldn't also be a really positive, easy-to-see bonus. When you're applying for a job, yes -- when you're writing good, believable characters and playing a nice game with other RPers, no.
