What is the OMP? The Organisation of Maritime Powers is an OOC and IC Organisation which consists of nations with a Maritime Military tradition to come together to discuss Naval issues, both OOC and IC. To exchange designs, strategies, concepts and ideas. To inform and discuss. We also have an RP section to cooperate on RPs and read informative works on other players. OMP is a learning environment where every member can grow to their full potential.

What level of OOC Cooperation is required? We accept people who are willing to discuss, learn, who are not stubborn, and who are open to sharing. You don't necessarily need to be a Maritime Power to join OMP. OMP is also about training people to be Maritime Powers. People who are inquisitive and keen to learn and respect realism are fully welcome in the OMP. We want people who can share and learn.

What level of IC Cooperation is required? Theoretically none.

How do I join? Register at the forum with your nation name. I will then consider your application. If it's not approved, I will TG you. By the way, I don't care for argument on this issue, so it won't help you to get mad at me if I decline you. It will only decrease your chances of joining later on.

You just have to register on the forum to join. That's where all the discussion will take place anyway. Also I approved Radict.

We would be interested in joining this organization as our country has a long and glorious naval history.

OOC: Naval history is a special interest of mine. I've been studying ships for the better part of 40 years now and have a degree in history. Of course, having a love of studying all thing "naval" somehow doesn't explain why or how I spent 6 years in the air force and 10 in the army.

Seeing as I can't use the other actual sign-up, may I join here? As an island nation, with a strong emphasis on our Navy (factbook), we can also be the main maritime air power.

Well, if you cant use the other sign up (why not?) there's no point because it is based around the forum... I'm not sure you get the point.

Hmm, sounds interesting. I've definitaly got maritime power, with possibly the most advanced reactors on my ships, and possibly the best submarines out there. It's used mostly fir defence though. Powerful nonetheless.

Just FYI, I registered over at the forum. I'm a long time amateur student of naval warfare and a former NSer who's returned after a break.
