IC: It was the first anniversary of the division of Champawander. Ever since a great argument between the Hindus and Muslims of the country the country had been partitioned by the UAI (United Arretian Islands). The Muslim part which was considerabley smaller was named Kajbekistan. Champawander remained Hindu.

At 1:20 pm on a monday morning, the Village of Fashad came under attack. The Champawanderian troops were attacking the village as it was a key focal point along the Maand River which ran along the border between Kajbekistan and Champawander. The civilians were taken prisoner and beheaded for the glory of the Hindu faith. Then tanks and the bulk of the army began to pour into the village and building a bridge across the river.

The Theocracy of Platypusistan is deeply troubled by the escalating civil strife within the nations of Champawander and Kajbekistan, and is willing to mediate a compromise. Representatives of each nation are invited to the Sowan Hotel in our capitol city, Platyngrad in order to reach an agreement.

The Theocracy of Platypusistan would also be willing to provide, should both parties agree to a temporary cease-fire, a peacekeeping force along the border to prevent further hostilities until an agreement or lack thereof can be reached.

The Kajbakistan national army of conscripts was mobilized. The conscripted troops numbered 100,000 men with 90 Tanks. They were preparing to attack the Champawanderians across the Maand River. President Lassan sent out a message via the radio. He broadcast for a call to arms, with civilians building barricades and defences, whilst urging factories to spur their production of Tanks and Artillery. He then sent this message out.

RA is sending a hornet class carrier to the region with a battle group E-10s F-26A's and 220 CL-32As CE-32s Cuervo Electronic Warfare Fighter. we are also sending an aid shipment of 8 C-131s the warzone each side will recieve aid. after the aid is sent we will offer assistence to any other country attempting to send in aid and air suppoet for them

The Champawanderians opened fire on the Kajbakistan troops. Many of them fell sprawling in the dust. However as the tanks went across the bridge they came under heavy fire from the muslim positions. Kajbakistan may not be so easy a pushover as they had thought.

The Champawanderians withdrew after having suffered severe casualties. 1,976 men were dead and 78 Tanks had been lost. General Nasib would have to work on a new strategy to win the war.
