The Deadly G1T1 Virus

Hundreds of Tiesans have checked into local hospitals complaining of High Fever, Dry Heaving, Diarrhea, Cough, Chest Pain, and various other symptoms. The Imperial Health Center of Tiesa announced that they believe this is the G1T1 Virus which ravaged Tiesa sixty years ago. A vaccine is in development, but isn't expected to be ready for several months.

The number of those infected has reached 858,313 with the death toll reaching 85,592. Schools in towns with a high amount of infected people have been closed. Hospitals are overwelmed, and tourism is down. Though he hated to say it Emperor Verner urged those that plan to travel to Tiesa is stay away, and urged citizens not to leave Tiesa. Many concerned Tiesans have began stocking up on food, and water in order to stay at home as long as they can. Tiesa is not the only nation infected, many other countries have also been infected.

The Kyoui Union is currently Barring any Tiesan products, as well as other products that happen to stop there for a while (i.e. refueling). Kyouji is also prohibiting any vessels to stop at Tiesa. The only exeption are aid vessels carrying G1T1 vaccinations. Kyouji has already gotten this virus once and they have made a vaccination which helps to stop G1T1, and donations for production of vaccinations are at an all time high.

I dont believe we have trade with your nation but we will be conducting interviews of every traveller before anyone gets on a plane to Chetssaland. If they have been in your nation in the last 2 months, or been with anyone whos been there, they will be sent back.

Unfortunately, we must bar any citizens from Tiesan from coming to our nation. None of our citizens are allowed to go to Tiesan. All citizens must destroy all products that they have from Tiesan. No vessals or ships are allowed to go near Tiesan.

Our borders are now closed and are heavily guarded by troops.

We will however, take part in airlifting aid to your nation, if you would like us to do that.

With the assistance of other nations the rate at which people are being infected has greatly decreased. The death toll has virtually stopped as many infected Tiesans are recovering. Also with the cooperation of Tiesa, and multiple other nations, a vaccine is estimated to be ready within a matter of days.
