Realizing the sheer futility of training an army equiped with nothing more than meager handguns, the contractors broke into their weapons caches prematurely in an attempt to re-arm the Landogradians for the time being. When comapred to the monstrostities of war that these men might face soon, sacrificing some gear was a small price to pay in exchange for potentially saved lives. Although it would leave the contractors somewhat undergunned for the time being, it would at least give the contractors something to work with until more equipment could arrive from Falkasia.

Meanwhile, the contractors had set up Camp Backwater on the outskirts of a Landogradian town. Although meager, it consisted of a sturdy, concrete-reinforced barbed wire perimeter fence and command and barracks facilities. Underneath all of this was a small bunker, inset into the soft dirt of the the agricultural landscape to serve as an ammunition and hardware dump until a more suitable and secure place could be constructed.

Upon word from the new Landogradian government, the UDS contractors transfered over a sizable detachment of T-11 Light Tanks to the fledgling militia. It took only a few hours to train the crews in the tanks' basic operations, but true knowledge of the T-11 would come only in the heat of battle.
