The Gracefall Weaponry Committe is slowly developing vast nuclear weapons using the majority of it's defense budget. A new bomb codenamed "Deus Cado" is in development, with a total end-goal yield of 1000 Megatons, which will create a fireball that'll disintegrate everything within a 92 mile radius, approximately, plus the radiation and heat waves of an unknown range.
Deus Cado works as a complicated system where a large sattellite-like device is launched into the stratosphere with a complex navigational system that leads it to the selected point. The sattellite is disposable and will self-destruct as it drops the final missile to avoid giving away it's technology.
As it reaches the point, it prepares the 20 missiles, each 50 megatons, and drops each just out of the blast radius of the other, creating an effective area of destruction.
This is another development similar to earlier project "Nox Noctis Umbra", which was a unmanned submarine like vehicle that planted itself at the closest area of water designated at the original point, and then launched five nuclear weapons, each of about 10-megaton strength, onto areas also pre-selected by the original designator. Unlike Deus Cado, Nox Noctis Umbra was intended for a quick, tactical strike rather than a sudden destruction.
Gracefall says it will not share the exact working technologies of either, but says it is open to other nation's feelings on the current arsenal.
