President Spaulding Hospitalized

Today, at about 4:17am Kinstantian Daylight Time, President Samantha Spaulding was rushed to the Royal Kinstantian Hospital. According to her Chief of Staff, James Whitehead, she had started complaining of chest pains about 10 minutes before the ambulance was called to the Presidential Palace.

Currently, no official statement has been release by the Presidential Palace. A hospital worker did call KNN news and informs us that King Conner has rushed to the hospital.

Currently, no word on whether or not Vice-President Nate Davenport has been given executive power as of this moment, or if President Spaulding still retains executive control of the Government.

Under Article 3, Section 21, the Kinstantian Constitution stipulates that in extreme circumstances, while the President is incapacitated, the Vice-President can act on his behalf without consent from the President.

At a press conference earler today, Vice-President Nate Davenport stated that "The President was rushed to the hospital after complaining for chest pains. Moments later, she suffered a minor heart attack.

At this moment, she is awake and alert. She still retains executive authority at this point and time. She is scheduled to remain in the hospital for further observation. "

The citizens of Kinstantian have shown quite the outpouring of emotional support in the way of flowers and cards sent to the Presidential Palace.
