Here we, the Federal Republic of Ostronopolis does declare our official list of states sponsoring clear, unproductive and vicious imperialism. We feel compelled to make this address on the basis that nothing but imperialistic wars have been fought and sponsored by the following states for the past several years. The following list of nations, have been put under increasing pressure by the international community, through military, economic and diplomatic campaigns however few have affirmed nor effectively bestowed any serious and or altering behavior of these nations, and they continue to be a menace to the stability, security and peace of the international community itself, and the human populous that makes the international community. We declare and establish this statement and official list in the hopes, that the nations involved will realize that they are continuing to make enemies and bringing nothing but trouble and instability to the international community abroad. We hope that one day, these nations become straight and forward thinking nations, however we can do little besides pressure these countries and continue to hope that they will cease being the menaces to the world that they are. The list of nations that sponsor imperialism is as follows:

We condemn the Federal Republic of Ostronopolis for lying to it's own people and to the international community about the characteristics of our nation for mere self-political gain on the international stage, which is a sure sign of it's own Imperialism in the Yakutan theater and elsewhere.

What you have done today is brave, but rather foolish. I, the representative of this nation, commend you upon your efforts, but it is rather unwise to publish the said list.

First of all, it is rather useless, the nations active in this world will recognize the tyrants and the evils, unless they are on the side of Fascism.

Second of all, as Shazbotdom's display has shown, this list will be less of a list of targets and more a list of great nations. This list will not stop imperialism. The Dominion of Coruscant fails to see the purpose of blacklisting specific nations, some of which we consider valued allies, as inherently harmful to world stability. We fail to see why so many nations, are outraged by this list. Imperialist nations have always failed against the Federal Republic, so threats and intimidation tactics are useless, as we do not retract our declaration. The before mentioned nations, are not there because they have colonies or overseas territories, they are there because they have repeatedly annexed large nations and imposed their way of governance upon these countries that were once proud and sovereign. So any state thinking this list applies to them, can learn to read. Some cases and points of the before mentioned list, is the repeated refusal to allow the Yakutan territories still occupied by Nationalist nations sovereignty. We do not retract our statement, and we continue to use this list in the pentagon.

Also, as far as the Republic being imperialist, we have to ask how? We have repeatedly sought to free nations from rule by countries with no sense of freedom and democracy, and we have sought to see the day of Yakutan independence. And as far as being considered hostile in the face of nations; we scoff. Excuse the Federal Republic for refusing to be in a state of fear, but the nation is already targeted by many imperialistic nations wishing to do nothing but further their own gain against the international community. So we care not if our nation is on a 'watchdog' list, as our country is fully prepared. We must also point out that this list is in no way made to threaten alliances entitled imperial, as imperial has a vast term. Also, we hope this cleared some points for you all. We applaud the audacity taken with this condemnation of imperialism, though in the opinion of the military and government leaders of the Federal Republic, this was probably an ill-advised action: there are numerous nations that could, in some light, be defined as "imperialist" due to their maintainance of colonies, including allies of Ostronopolis, as well as numerous non-alligned, neutral, or other friendly nations.

While the Federal Republic withdrew from its only real colony earlier this year, it was not due to ideological reasons, but practical reasons: maintainance, defense, and policing of a colony is deemed to expensive in relation to any gains from it. However, because of our reasoning, the Federation does not view imperialism in itself as an evil. Therefore, recognizing this and wishing to make this fact known to Ostronopolis; even as allies, of a sort, we cannot in good conscience support this declaration, and must advise against further trumpeting it without necessary revisions, for the sake of Ostronopolis as well as peace and the world at large.
