Inside, technicians and crewmen rushed around, attmepting to bring the ship back on-line. In the middle of the chaos stood a group of people apparantly immune to the panic and distress around them. At the center was a tall black-haired man with a brooding glare. Surrounding him were things that could be loosely described as "people." They were Hunters, Asuaw's bioengineered soldiers. Each was human shaped, but bioengineered to be better than human.
All Asuawans had been engineered or altered as such. Each Asuawan was smarter, quicker, tougher more agile, and had a 300% increase in strength over regular humans. The soldiers had received armor as well, making each of them a shiny black sentry, cold and heartless. While the soldiers were clever, the lacked initiative. They only obeyed their commanders orders, via a psychic link between them and their present commander. At the present, that commander was the man.
The man's name was Agent Veezev. He was a Xeliz agent and very lethal. Like all Asuawans, he had received the same biological enhancements. However, as a Xeliz agent, he had received a unique enhancement designed to make him more suited to his job. His in particular was an experimental enhancement that allowed him to project a field which bent light around him, rendering him almost invisible to the naked eye, minus a small distortion which most would attribute to heat of some kind. In addition his senses, particularly his sense of smell, had been heightened, making him an ideal hunter. However, his current mission was not to hunt, but to protect. The ship was carrying a prototype of a new "Drej Buster" (an anti energy-being weapon) froma remote research facility. It had been enroute to Asuaw when a freak gravitational anomaly had thrown the ship wildly off-course and forced them to exit hyperspace under strained conditions, resulting in the damage to the ship.
A technician approached Veezev. "Sir, the hyperdrive did not survive re-entry, and is impossible to fix under current conditions. Navigation was knocked out too, but initial scans do not show any systems within reaching distance."
Veezev grimaced. He knew what he had to do, but it still sickened him to call for help
Moments later a message went out
This is the Asuawan ship Judicator. We are currently stranded and are requesting assistance. Sending coordiantes now
