Arkenschaff, Federation of Arkenheim
Kamerad Schneider leaned back in his leather chair as Vice Admiral Erik von Arlemeine walked through the door. Schneider shuffled the papers on his mahogany desk, making sure they were in order. Arlemeine smiled, taking in the sight of Schneider in his blue Arken Military Uniform.
"Kamerad Schneider. One of our Reporters has arrived in Arfkarale."
"Ah. Thank you, Arlemeine. I have a report I need you to look at."
Arlemeine strode over to the desk, and Schneider pushed the report over to the VA's side. Arlemeine quickly read through it, and frowned.
"What does Schrader mean, 'declaration of war?' I thought you said it would be a good idea to be at peace with Sydia?"
"I do. Apparently Co-Kamerad Schrader thinks otherwise."
Arlemeine sighed. "What do you think, Kamerad?"
"Sydia shall be our friend, no matter what it takes."
Arlemeine smiled and nodded. He turned to walk away. Suddenly, a gunshot took Kamerad Schneider by surprise. Arlemeine toppled sideways, crashing to the velvet green rug. Schneider ducked, punching a button on his radio.
"Lieutenant von Ulbricht, I need a crack team, NOW!"
As he hid, Schneider wondered who would have wanted to kill Arlemeine...and then he remembered Schrader.

Kamerad Schneider, Arkenheim's leader, pushed open the door of the late Arlemeine's prime reporter's office. The reporter's head shot up from his papers, and he saluted.
"Hello, Kamerad. Do you need---"
"I need you to get a story printed on the death of Vice Admiral Arlemeine. And when you see General Schrader, send him to my office in Arkenschaff."
"Ah, Schrader arrived moments ago. I'll call him in."
The reporter picked up the phone and dialed extension 889790.
"General, this is Prime Reporter Schlaffnacht. Kamerad Schneider is here to see you. He wants you in my office now."
Schlaffnacht replaced the receiver, and almost instantaneously the door opened and General Schrader walked in.
"Schrader. Have you heard anything about the death of VA Arlemeine?"
"Indeed I did. I was just looking into it---"
"I found a sniper rifle with a Schrader Industries mark on it. How do you explain that General?"Sir, there are many Schrader Industries weapons out there---"
"I don't care, Schrader. Rent a room in Schlaffschiff Hotel. Make sure it's 109. We depart for Arkenschaff tomorrow."
Schrader saluted and walked out.
