Princess Catia Wedding RP IC (GD, OPEN)

Postby Solisian Union » Sun Apr 05, 2026 7:38 pm

✧Princess Catia Wedding RP - NSU (GD, OPEN)✧

Link to the OOC - The OOC

OOC INFORMATION & RULES

Setting: The wedding takes place in the breathtaking La Victoria Starlight Basin, right in the capital of the New Solisian Union. The ceremony will be held at the grand open-air pavilion overlooking the artificial lake that mirrors the night sky, surrounded by Triad Faith shrines glowing with lanterns. The reception will be at the Queen's Palace gardens and nearby Friendship Parks. Expect lavish Solisian fusion cuisine (Adobong Pambansa, Lechon Solisiano, Yellow Star Sour Soup, and more), live music, and cultural performances from Azenian dancers, Elizarin singers, and Mantagonian knights.

Posting Guidelines:
- Minimum 1-2 solid paragraphs per post. Quality over quantity!
- Use IC for in-character writing and keep OOC notes in [ooc] tags or double parentheses.
- Respect the established lore of the New Solisian Union (Queen Wessa I’s pragmatic Wessite New Order, Yellow Star symbolism, Triad Faith, Four Modernizations, etc.). Minor creative liberties are fine; major contradictions need OOC discussion. If you have any questions about the lore, please feel free to ask!
- Romance, affection, and cultural elements are welcome. Keep explicit content to PMs or fade-to-black if it arises naturally.
- Be kind and collaborative.
- No godmodding, metagaming, or forcing outcomes on other players (especially the bride and groom).

Now, here’s the IC!

The golden light of late afternoon spilled across the La Victoria Starlight Basin. Lanterns in the shape of sun-dogs, crescent moons, and endless stars swayed gently from silk-draped arches, promising the magical transition into evening. The air carried the rich scent of blooming night jasmine, spiced coconut, and roasting lechon — a promise of the lavish Solisian fusion feast to come.

Princess Catia’s wedding pavilion stood at the heart of it all: a grand yet intimate structure of polished white marble and warm Solisian olive-green silk, crowned with a massive radiant Yellow Star encircled by golden wreaths.

Triad Faith shrines flanked the aisle, their altars adorned with fresh offerings of rice, chilies, and fragrant flowers.

A gentle breeze stirred across the basin, carrying faint, haunting notes from the grand piano positioned near the pavilion steps, where the quiet Pushanian Mar’si pianist Takvrai El’Saur had taken his seat. The instrument stood ready, its polished surface catching the golden light and the gentle sway of the Triad lanterns above.

Near the entrance to the pavilion stood Arsi’Elkon Sasha Luboski, the Attatian Mar’si leader of the Karda and chosen officiant of the ceremony, dressed in flowing ceremonial robes that shimmered with intricate celestial patterns.

Moving through the growing crowd was Elia Charvak’w, the cheery Sedairan Mar’si representative of the Sea Sarda. Her eyes held a bright, mischievous sparkle tempered with suitable awareness of the solemn occasion.

At the far end of the pavilion, under a canopy bearing the royal crest, Queen Wessa I herself sat with quiet dignity beside Priya Nakamura. The young Queen, visibly pregnant with twins and dressed in a tailored olive-green ceremonial tunic accented with midnight-blue and gold, rested one hand lightly on her belly while her other occasionally brushed Priya’s. Her sharp, intelligent eyes swept the gathering with a mix of heartfelt warmth and the ever-present pragmatic vigilance that defined her reign. Prince Tobias stood nearby, tall and broad-shouldered, his expression a careful blend of protective affection for his sister and lingering solemnity from the past.

The honor guard wore crisp olive-green dress uniforms with prominent Yellow Star insignias on their chests and shoulders. They stood at perfect attention along the aisle, their composite helmets gleaming. Harmony Cell observers moved discreetly among the crowd in civilian attire, ensuring ideological harmony and smooth proceedings without intruding on the joy.

As the sun dipped lower, painting the Starlight Basin in hues of amber and rose, the first chords of a more celebratory piece rose from Takvrai’s piano. The scent of Adobong Pambansa and Yellow Star Sour Soup drifted from the nearby gardens where the reception would begin. Laughter and soft conversations mingled with the music.

This was more than a wedding. It was a living declaration under the Yellow Star: that love, compassion, and brave renewal could heal even the deepest scars of the War Between Sun and Moon.

Regardless, there was still some time before the ceremony would start. Queen Wessa wanted more time for more guests to arrive. Her sister agreed, and she sent out messengers to personally inform the guests who might already be in the capital. As for the rest, Princess Catia herself sent text messages and emails, which made Queen Wessa a little annoyed, but she let it be. This was her wedding, after all. It wouldn’t hurt if her sister did such things, even if it might make her look a little hurried and pressured.

The Queen just sighed and looked away, studying her guests.

Priya leaned in slightly, her voice soft and warm with that gentle Marshite cadence. “You’re frowning again, love. The texts won’t ruin anything. Catia is excited… and the guests will come. They always do when the Yellow Star calls.”

Wessa exhaled slowly, her hand still resting protectively over the curve of her belly. “I know. But a royal wedding should feel… deliberate. Not like we’re chasing people down with messages.” She glanced sideways at Priya, the corner of her mouth twitching with reluctant amusement. “Still… if it makes her happy on her day, I suppose I can tolerate a little haste. Just don’t let her turn the reception into a group chat.”

Priya gave a quiet chuckle, her fingers brushing lightly over Wessa’s. “Noted, Your Majesty. Though I suspect the twins are already plotting their own version of haste.” She paused, eyes warm. “Breathe. The Union is watching, and they see a queen who cares enough to wait for every last guest. That matters more than perfect timing.”

Wessa allowed herself a small nod, her sharp eyes softening just a fraction as she continued scanning the arriving faces. “You’re too good at talking me down. Fine… we wait a little longer.”

King Konstantinos was delighted to be invited to the wedding, but he wasn't delighted on one thing, Traffic. "HOW HAVE WE NOT ARRIVED YET! WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE!" his anger and impatience was creeping out "We are about to arrive in around 2-3 minutes sir", his driver/friend Ivantrov said in calmness "MINUTES!?!I KNEW IT WE SHOULD'VE GONE WITH AN ESCORT, cant we just cut through the traffic?", he said with clear annoyance of the traffic, "Patience sir, sometimes life hits you with anger and happiness" he said with clear eyes, "Uhhhhhhhhhh, just hurry than", and then they waited for quite some time, but finally they have arrived. "Finally we can go, thank you Ivantrov" he said with a mix of genuine appreciation and tiredness.

Soon he went to the reception and of course eat after the longest 2-3 minutes of his life, the food he chose was of course the most delicious and lavish meal in the world, some steak as he can not handle spice. He took a big bite of the steak enjoying its juices, flavor and crust. Then he stood up and started to greet everyone in the event, it's about to be a long day

OOC: This is my fist RP post in forums thats why its terrible please don't judge

Takvrai took deep breaths, steadying a heart that beat rapidly and undisciplined. The System, it could heal all the scars and wounding. Where the Death Guard’s blade had severed his spine at the midpoint of his back. Where the bullet tore through his face, the shrapnel that cut open his neck, leaving him a gasping maw of gurgling flesh. He no longer bore those wounds, and nary a mark could be found on his beatific skin and well-sculpted facade. It could not heal the scars in his mind, nor the wound so carefully laid on his soul. He felt it when he got nervous. The heart, that ever traitorous organ, betraying the mask he had worn with such divine ritual for years, hammered in his chest once more. Lest he be found wanting in eyes high and mighty and richly adorned with the vestments of such faith, he would endeavor to once more restrain and reform the treasonous blood that henceforth flowed. Ugly and black, barely his, barely human, yet he would come to contain it.

He damned his weakness in not pressing the issue of where the piano was set up. He loathed having this many people at his back. He could feel his muscles twitching every so often, begging for him to turn around to confirm that he was not in the tunnels again, and those at his back were neither friend nor foe, yet instead a guest at such a wonderful function as was being held now. How lucky was he to be invited and now unconscionably selfish was he to berate them for this most pleasant accommodation. He found such solace in the arts and yet he could scarcely find in them safety from his own fear and failings.
He pondered, briefly, why he had been selected. There were pianists and artists assuredly more fitting for this high and noble honor, no? He was indeed well placed in the D’jiva Primary Symphony but that was neither the first nor finest Symphony in the nation. And yes, he was recently highlighted in the Artist Sarda as one of the best and brightest up and comers in the Mushanian Artistic Zone, but again- how many thousands must surely be better suited?

No matter the reason, here he was. It was a pleasant wedding, or so he hoped it was to be. Royal weddings were always in high demand for Artist Sarda Faithful, as they were exceptionally rare instances for the Mar’si to mingle in such a stage. Why the Sarda had fallen so far as to choose him he did not know, but he would be a fool to dwell on such matters for long. He took his seat as quietly as possible and set about preparing himself. He had already dried off his hands before coming, having soaked it in warm water after some stretches, then worked on some final stretches. He ran his fingers down and stretched from top to bottom, taking time to arrange today’s sheet music. He could play today’s pieces from memory- including the all-important Adolona Bisala Javanali and Viahi Jora’Laj Dira- but he had worked to add in important pieces of Solisian musical arts to all of the day’s movements. He was sure he could do this from memory as well- a few days was generally enough for him- but if he wanted to make further changes having the sheet music would give him the guiding principles of mechanics.

With a few more breaths to try and still the traitor’s blood that flowed in him, he set upon himself the task of playing. He started the dreamy first movement, gently arpeggiated with a set andante tempo, allowing the darkly playful tonic to play as his limber fingers seemed to move ever so lazily across the piano.

*********************

What glory to be found in the arms of another was there to so readily accept the well-wishes and warm tidings of guests from so near and far? Marriage was such a defining event across the world- a custom that despite its endless variations touched upon the same foundational truth of love and companionship that was sought by all people of grand and noble spirit. Of course, the Mar’si had come to understand that this most luscious of divine gifts and favors was simply more cause to give great praise to the Karda, but far be it from the Arsi’Elkon to let others down by telling them that they were doing love wrong!

She did have to let out a small laugh, which got the attention of her guard. The raven-eyed guardian could not get a word out before Luboski raised a hand. “Go and ensure the safety of all. Goddess knows I am well,” she said, soft words echoing a hard order. She had arrived with but a small number of guards and seemed driven to shorn off the last few that hung to her like barnacles. The guard, to her credit, did not even attempt to argue before half-bowing and departing, speaking into her head piece. Ahhh, finally. No more guards. Well, no more guards around her. Between the Solisians and her own guard she was sure the entire site was more well-guarded than a military facility. She had no concerns.

Her mind was instead focused on the ceremony. She was honored to conduct the ceremony under the auspices of Mar’si custom, in the Blessed view of the Goddess. They could have asked someone from a Solisian Sarda, but having the Arsi’Elkon do it would certainly add to the theological weight of their union. She was always happy to do so. She did so in her younger years, back when she had the time for such things more readily. To take a couple and allow them to be consecrated by the Goddess was a truly wonderful gift. She was honored indeed, and she was also honored to see how best to suit this wedding to their particular marriage. Traditions in the Faith were as numerous as the stars in Her sky, and evolved and changed with every new member of the Faith.

There was some concern that she was here to impress upon the Solisians the mastery of the Mar’si. Puzzled, she was. How long and how often did the Mar’si need to deal with their friends and allies until they cast off worries based on influence and feared dominance? The Mar’si helped where it was needed and without the need for reciprocation. Bahh, she was overthinking it. Today was a day to celebrate a new marriage and new lives, not national politics. What a boring topic!

Until the ceremony preparations were underway, she felt no great need to head into the back to prepare. It was rare for her to have spare time. She was always involved in high level decision-making or she was involved in religious service. Even now with the din of the party growing she found herself with a rare moment of peace. She hated it! She swiped a drink, the waitress turning with a smile and then upon seeing who it was tried to bow, but was stopped by Luboski. No need here. With a drink in hand, Luboski entered the party until the ceremony needed to be prepared.

*********************

Elia couldn’t help but feel out of place. Such a high society gathering and they had made the mistake of inviting someone like her. After this, Catia would be blacklisted from all high gatherings in the region. She wasn’t so sure this would be a bad thing because there didn’t seem to be enough of a beach nearby to really make the party sing, but ya know. She didn’t want to be the cause of that banishment. This time. She could only be responsible for so much of Catia’s trouble before the royal family forced her onto a catapult and launched her into the awful, life-giving sun.

It had been maybe ten years since they first became friends. Goddess, if only she hadn’t wasted so much time trying to get the school system in La Victoria to expel her and had instead just took a job on the high seas sooner. She didn’t need to get in trouble, she just needed to hop onto a ship! Religious obligations trump all others and now she knew all she could about the sea. Primarily, how to train the giant squids while the republicans and monarchists launched missiles off into the distance. She also knew how to use the fires from the coastal villages to sunbathe on a dinghy, but she still wasn’t sure how useful that was.

She twirled a phone, firing off some texts to Catia. The Princess seemed nervous. Who could blame her? You only got to make the biggest mistake of your life once! (Those that followed were more comedy of errors than anything) Nadira was kind of hot, sure, but why buy the cow when you could get the milk for free? Catia didn’t like that one much. Neither had the Queen. She guessed the Arsi’Elkon wouldn’t either. Eh, whatever. No reason to worry about someone who would be swept away into the Embrace. Let Catia make her mistake, and she would just enjoy the party.

She spun the phone on her finger for a few seconds before bopping it up and catching it, sliding it back inside her dress. She normally carried a whole suite of knives for her work but that wasn’t allowed. At least she wouldn’t lose this phone. She went through about five a year- the Sea claimed what the Sea claimed! Phone secure, she arched her back to crack it and then danced her win, her quick hands worming their way around an Hors d'oeuvres as she sashayed her way into the party.

Avril Blanc stepped into the La Victoria Starlight Basin, her heart swelling at the sight before her. The golden light spilled with liquid warmth to bath everything in a heavenly glow. It felt as if the stars themselves had decided to descend and join the mortals in celebration.

As she walked, the soft notes of the pianist floated through the air. The Triad shrines, especially, were nothing short of enchanting. Avril paused momentarily to bow her head in respect.

Dressed in a traditional Sishian dress that flowed like water around her, she felt like a part of the landscape. The fabric shimmered under the light. Her auburn hair fall in soft waves, framing her face and accentuating her verdant eyes.

In the distance, she spotted a group in olive-green dress uniforms standing at perfect attention. It's standard fare for a royal wedding.

Her excitement surged the closer she approached the gathering crowd. Avril had long admired the New Solisian Union, which she could see in the distance from her residence in Haut-Toix, The chance to witness this occasion up close made her heart race. She wondered if she could find acquaintances here...

The golden light over the Starlight Basin had softened into a rich rose-gold as evening drew near. Lanterns swayed gently overhead, casting their soft celestial glow across the pavilion and the still lake.

Princess Catia — radiant in flowing white silk accented with subtle yellow star embroidery and traditional Azynian floral patterns — had just stepped out from the private preparation area when her phone buzzed again. She groaned softly, swiped it open, and tapped in her password in a couple of quick seconds. A bright, joyful laugh escaped her the moment she read Elia’s teasing text. Her fingers flew across the screen with the same playful energy that had always defined her.
Catia’s reply to Elia:

“Elia, you sea-brained menace! If this is the ‘biggest mistake’ of my life, then I’m making it in front of the entire Union with the Arsi’Elkon watching. Nadira is not ‘milk for free’ — she’s the whole damn feast, and I’m happily buying the cow, the farm, and the ocean view. Now stop texting me trouble and get over here before I have the honor guard drag you to the front row. Love you, squid-trainer. Don’t make me cry before the vows, or I’ll make you eat sand!”

She slipped the phone away with a fond shake of her head and a happy little sigh. Glancing toward the crowd, she spotted her lover, Nadira, standing a little apart in the shadows, trying to stay out of the spotlight. Catia’s face lit up. She walked over immediately and teased, “Nadira Ashalina, are you hiding from me?”

“No, no, my love,” Nadira laughed. “I just didn’t want to steal attention before the ceremony. Wouldn’t want to ruin the wedding early, would we?”

The two women chuckled, then burst into soft laughter as they nuzzled close and wrapped each other in a warm embrace. They slipped a little further away from the main crowd, content to steal a quiet moment together.

Queen Wessa I noticed King Konstantinos the moment he entered the gardens. She watched with quiet amusement as he headed straight for the reception tables and began eating with obvious enthusiasm. She waited patiently until he had finished and started greeting other guests before rising from her seat under the royal canopy.
The young Queen approached him with calm, deliberate grace, offering a warm and composed smile.

“King Konstantinos,” she said, her voice steady and kind, carrying the quiet authority of her office. “It is a pleasure to have you here with us on this joyful day. Thank you for making the journey to celebrate with my sister and her bride. The Union is honored by your presence.”

She gave a small, gracious nod, her sharp intelligent eyes meeting his. “Please, enjoy the feast and the evening. If there is anything you or your party need, my staff will see to it at once.”

Prince Tobias had been standing near the royal canopy, tall and broad-shouldered, relaxed but watchful. When his gaze landed on Avril Blanc in her shimmering Shishian dress, he straightened slightly and stepped forward to greet her.

“Miss Avril Blanc,” Tobias said, offering a respectful bow of his head and a friendly smile. “It is good to see you here. Catia has spoken of you often — she mentioned your diplomatic circles and how you’ve become a valued friend to the family. She was genuinely pleased when you accepted the invitation.”

He glanced briefly toward the pavilion where his sister stood, then back to Avril with gentle interest.

“How have you been since we last corresponded? And tell me — has Catia already dragged you into any of her infamous pre-wedding adventures, or has she shown some restraint for once?”

Elia couldn’t help but roll her eyes. Catia had the text game of a middle schooler, which was tragic since she was older than the Queen. How did she find someone who could tolerate this absolute degradation? And why, pray tell, wasn’t it Elia? Not that she was interested in anything that would tie her down. Like she thought earlier, mistakes abound. She didn’t bother typing out a reply to Catia and instead sashayed her way towards the royal table in her own good time. She had no deep concern that the honor guard could catch her; like a seal, she was slippery. Unlike a seal, she wasn’t very clubbable.

It wasn’t very hard to dodge around the high and mighty. Queen Wessa seemed to shoot straight for King Konstantino. Yeah, that made sense. He had a bit of the bronze about him and she knew that Queens were historically weak in the knees around them. She didn’t know much about the King but he certainly looked the part. Was his nation an island? Hopefully there would be islanders, the truly blessed, among their number today.

And who was that tall woman? Good Goddess, they bred them that well? She’d have to take a look at that diet. Beautiful and tall! Never a bad combination.

In due time Elia made her way to the front table, already finding another new drink to pilfer as she slid next to where Catia was. Well, where she was supposed to be. Okay, now was phone time.
“Hey Princess Landlubber! Don’t leave me flailing out here!” She then took a selfie of her looking like an absolute fool before shooting it off. Luckily, there were abandoned drinks at the table. They would not be for long.

Guenther Reinländer had never traveled to the Solisian Union before in his over decade long career in the Foreign Affairs Ministry as an attaché. Solisia was not exactly a neutral or friendly nation-state at all towards the Ordenstaat. Hostilities were made openly clear during the Magdaran War as the Solisian Union was part of the coalition which fought on behalf of the Commonwealth and People's Revolutionary Republic. Over 1 million Ordenite soldiers became casualties fighting alongside the then Grand Republic of Magdaran with its government being made up of the UNF of which the Ordenstaat had threw its support for when the conflict erupted. Since then, relations had been becoming colder as time went on due to the more rampant militarism on behalf of the Ordenstaat.

The Solisians were considered inferior and poisoned by the Marsi in all aspects. Guenther found them pathetic and no more than lap dogs of the Theocratic Matriarchy, however he kept his composure and put on his usual appearance. Dressed in his grey tunic suit with the pin of the Ordenite Socialist Unity Party symbol affixed to his chest. He stood over six feet tall but maintained a slim figure with his cheek bones visible and his skin pale due to life in Ordena which was largely spent indoors. He didn't much bother to speak to anyone so far yet as his overall assignment here was to simply be here to witness the wedding ceremony.

The tall man in the charcoal-gray Ordenite tunic did not go unnoticed for long. A few Solisian guests began whispering among themselves, casting glances in his direction. The honor guards tensed slightly, but Field Marshal Sarah Meng raised a hand, waving them off. The guards relaxed, and most of the whispering died down, though several guests still stole occasional looks.

Sarah Meng stood out even in the elegant crowd. Her olive-green dress uniform was immaculate, the radiant Yellow Star insignia gleaming on her chest and shoulder. As a veteran of both the brutal civil war and the Magdaran conflict, she had learned long ago how to read a room — and how to keep one from spiraling.

She moved toward the Ordenite attaché with measured, confident steps. There was no warmth in her, yet no open hostility either. Stopping a respectful distance away, she offered a crisp, shallow nod.

“Mr. Reinländer,” she said evenly, her voice carrying quiet authority. “I am Field Marshal Sarah Meng of Southern Defense Command. On behalf of Her Majesty Queen Wessa I and the New Solisian Union, welcome to the wedding of Princess Catia.”

Her sharp eyes met his steel-blue gaze without flinching.

“I trust your journey to La Victoria was uneventful. If there is anything the Union can provide to make your stay more comfortable during the ceremony or reception, please inform one of the protocol officers. They have been instructed to assist all our honored guests.”

She paused for a moment, then added with careful politeness, “This is the first time I have met an Ordenite Foreign Ministry attaché. You are welcome here nonetheless.”
Sarah gave another small nod, her guarded watchfulness clear beneath the surface, and waited for his reply.

Princess Catia couldn’t help but grin when she spotted Elia sashaying toward the royal table. She leaned over to Nadira, murmuring something quick in her ear, then took her fiancée’s hand and walked over.

“Elia! Why, you absolute menace,” Catia called out, laughter clear in her voice as she approached. She was still holding Nadira’s hand, the two of them looking radiant together — Catia in her flowing white silk with yellow star embroidery, Nadira elegant beside her.

Nadira smiled warmly, eyes sparkling with amusement. “We saw that dramatic entrance. Were you really about to send another selfie of you looking tragic and abandoned? At our wedding?”

Catia let out a bright laugh and gently bumped Elia’s shoulder with her own.

“Landlubber? Really? That’s the best you’ve got today?” She tilted her head, grinning. “Come on, squid-trainer. You’ve been dodging the front row like it’s going to bite you. If you’re going to crash the royal table, at least commit to it properly.”

Nadira leaned in slightly.

“Exactly. We’re the ones getting married, not you. Stop pretending you’re the tragic sea orphan left behind. There’s plenty of room up here for our favorite troublemaker.” She gave Elia a playful once-over. “Though if you keep stealing drinks like that, we might have to assign you as official entertainment instead of guest.”
Catia squeezed Nadira’s hand and shot Elia a mock-serious look, though her eyes were dancing with laughter.

“See? Even my soon-to-be wife agrees. So stop hiding in the crowd and come sit with us before I really do have the honor guard drag you over here. You’re family, Elia. Even if you are a sea-brained chaos gremlin.”

"I've been well—I'm glad to see everyone's in such fine form."

Attache Rallex Darricon saught his designated Adrenadian table, looking to find company amongst a sea of strangers. Earmuffs would embrace the sides of his heads along with his bandages. Anxiolytics ran through his veins, as did an assortment of painkillers. Being a foreign wedding, there was no fanfare for him. Even so, his service felt thankless, given how quickly the world seemed to move on. It was even stranger to see how political weddings were in many other cultures, such as the Solisians. Rallex thought of his own failed marriage from a decade prior and how minimalist and intimate it was, as per standard Andrenadian customs. A brief moment of insecurity and remorse would have him glance at his vacant ring finger.

He would find a seated Sentry guarded their table. He was the first Andrenadian guest present, albiet relcutant. In civil disobedience, he was camoflauged in distict Razor Cascade exclusive Urban Haze variant of the domestic pattern, with only a semi-formal top offering decency. In front of him, a title card with the name "Alan Sachannry Kerasse" spoke on behalf of its disgruntled guest, whose eyes were lost on the dew of his glass. His disatisfaction and melancholy could be felt even through a half bandaged face. Rallex knew of the story behind the name. A man that failed upward, rose to the challege of contesting a significant GRM stronghold. Wounded upon first contact, he demonstrated the resilient spirit of our people, deferring his wounds to engage and decimate the enemy in urban combat compromised by extreme weather.

"No need to stand, Sentry. Tonight, we are the same" instructed Rallex, relieving his own governmental and martial hierarchy for kinship. He peered and felt under his seat for any explosives before seating himself by his own title card."How so?" asked an inebriated Alan, peripherally gazing at his Attache.

"I had to personally mediate a truce with my rogue Derringers. Theyre mostly penal, mind you." "How are you sitting down?" Alan asked. Rallex choked on the sip of water he had. "They didn't do that, but I was given an initiation. Respect came later." He exposed his collar to show a hand sized black geometric tattoo in the vague shape of a woman. "They took a scalpel to me and used charr.ed flesh and steel as paint. It was a way to celebrate my trial. Not fun."

Alan glanced with his pupils and winced with morbid intrigue. "Trial?"

"Yes. I was at the front and fought as they did, without the support that you had during your taskings. I...I dont know how I am still here, to be honest." Stated Rallex. His hands gittered and tensed at the memory of riding a dirtbike though ruined fields, evading incoming fire.

"Hmm." Alan nodded in empathy.

Rallex refocused on the present, merging an intrusive thought with an intrusive sight. "We dont have to dwell that, but we can dwell on that Ordize over there, until something better to do comes out way."

"Missed one."

The champions directed their stares towards the Attache. Here, there was no withdrawl from the result of their trangsressions. He would force Gunthier to witness them and bear the weight of resentful eyes.

Guenther paid little to no mind to the reactions of other guests to his presence at the wedding ceremony. His face and demeanor displayed little to any raw emotion as he stood by as Field Marshal Sarah Meng approached him and introduced herself to him. She was hard to miss dressed in her olive-green dress uniform with the insignia of the yellow star on her chest and shoulder.

He maintained eye contact even as her sharp gaze set upon him though for Meng she would likely feel she was staring at a hollow husk of a person. He had learned at a very young age how to compartmentalize his emotions even through all the indoctrination he was still to this day subjected to whenever he returned to Ordena.

"Frau Field Marshall Meng, I thank you for the warm welcome. Especially during such a special occasion." He said feeling a particular pair of eyes setting on him.

"I am simply here to bear witness to the ceremony as a representative of the Ordenstaat."

Colonel Diego Rafael Solorzano had been looking for Field Marshal Sarah Meng when he saw her with the Ordenite man. He thought about getting her attention, but he had more interest in dealing with the Andrenadian pair. The man in the light grey and blue attire with cyan accents stood out — not just because of the earmuffs and bandages, but because of the way he carried himself. A war hero, according to the briefing notes. That, plus rumors. Whatever the case, whatever was true, Solorzano respected that, and he was glad that the Andrenadians fought as an ally to Solisia during the Magdaran mess.

He adjusted the fit of his own olive-green dress uniform, brushed the Yellow Star insignia which he wore, and walked over with calm, purposeful strides. His face lit up with genuine recognition when he saw the two men.

“Attaché Darricon,” Solorzano greeted warmly, offering a respectful but friendly nod. “Colonel Diego Rafael Solorzano, 4th Army Group ‘Silent Blade’. On behalf of Her Majesty Queen Wessa I and the New Solisian Union, welcome to Princess Catia’s wedding.”

He glanced at the bandaged man beside Rallex, nodding at him before focusing back on the attaché.

“I... read the reports about what you did with the TF Derringers during the Magdaran War. That was impressive, what you did. Stepping in personally to mediate with the penal units and coordinating with our forces. You helped us. Solisia hasn’t forgotten that.”

Solorzana laughed a little and smiled at them, nodding a little before he paused a bit and said,

“I have to admit, I’m genuinely curious about how you pulled it off. Andrenadian units have earned a strong reputation among our officers for their toughness in brutal conditions. How does an attaché end up riding dirtbikes through contested fields and negotiating with rogue penal troops in the middle of a war zone? If, uh, you’re comfortable sharing any of those stories tonight, I’d love to hear them. I can have some of the protocol staff come and help you out if you want some quieter seating, medical support, or just a strong drink. We take care of our allies here.”

Field Marshal Sarah Meng kept her expression perfectly composed as Guenther answered. She noted the complete lack of emotion in his eyes. It didn’t surprise her. She had seen that same hollow look on the battlefield. So many Solisians and Nannasians had that look, but sometimes it was so... different. It wasn't the same as this man in front of her.

She gave a small, measured nod.

“I appreciate your candor, Mr. Reinländer. Bearing witness is an important role, even at a wedding,” she replied evenly, her voice polite but carrying that unmistakable guarded edge.

Her sharp eyes remained locked on his for a moment longer.

“I must admit I’m curious,” she continued, tone still courteous but now threaded with quiet interest. “The Ordenstaat has not sent any diplomats to Solisian celebrations in recent years. I do not even remember if the Ordenstaat sent anyone before the War Between Sun and Moon broke out. And... especially not after the Magdaran War. What brings an attaché from your ministry all the way to La Victoria for my the wedding of Her Majesty's sister? Pure ceremony… or is there something more the Ordenstaat wishes to observe?”

She let the question hang, but not in an aggressive style. Sarah was curious, but she wasn't going to push. Regardless, a faint, cool smile touched her lips. She wondered what will this man say next to her...

T’was the eve of the wedding. Such was the enigma of time, on some occasions it flies by in the blink of an eye, on others it stretches like molasses.

She had forgotten how long they had been travelling already. But it was long enough for the memory of her departure from Xanadu to become fuzzy with the passage of time. The road seemed endless—an unending monotony of asphalt, say for the occasional passing vehicle, for hundreds of kilometers. A plane flight aboard the private jet she had borrowed from her friend, the Princess of Yangchenia, certainly cut the travel time short, but still—at this rate, they may have been on the road for an entire day now.

One would expect a leader like her to arrive at such a prestigious wedding with something to flash the prosperity of her nation. A gilded car or limousine perhaps? Yet what she actually had betrayed that. Uniquely, she was going to arrive at the event aboard an old, traditional royal carriage, though it had been remodeled in modern times with a metal cabin fitted with air conditioning to keep Safira comfortable, especially in this summer heat.

Maneuvering the three trusty steeds pulling the carriage — White Tulip, Black Obsidian and Green Jade was a young, muscular man she had met on vacation in the Mirales Islands. His name was Maginoo Ong, and Safira had met him in Mirala operating a kalesa. She stood out too much riding the jeepneys, especially with her foreign looking outfit and general intolerance to the scorching heat that often plagued the Mirales Islands. When she had offered him a better job working for the Sheshanate of Xanadu, Maginoo Ong packed his bags and left his family in Mirales, returning every now and then with gifts and what he called “pasalubong” to his wife and five children. Beside him was his coworker, Maginoo Valdez - a jeepney driver he had met in Mirala who also joined him when he left for Xanadu all those years ago. The two of them had matching tattoos on their backs, depicting an eagle holding a rat by its tail, a symbol of their new friendship, though it was a friendship that was often tested.

Behind the main cabin and sat atop the carriage’ rear sat Luvsan. He was an older fellow, around forty-four years of age. She had met him in Ulsaavgaar, the capital of the Altanul Republic. He was a nomadic herder who had been forced into urban life after a brutal winter had struck the steppe, wiping out his livestock. With nothing to his name but the clothes on his back, he abandoned his former way of life and wandered the streets of Ulsaavgaar, hoping that salvation would come before the next winter would take his life on Ulsaavgaar’s cruel streets. Safira stumbled upon him wandering outside a cafe she had been staying at, and with curiosity about his fate, struck up a conversation with the man. It was then where she offered him the opportunity to serve her court in Xanadu. It was the year 2022 when they met, and Safira’s reign had only just begun. Eager to escape certain death on the cold streets, Luvsan quickly nodded, beginning his service to Safira as Royal Guard, given his experience with a bow. But he doesnt always act that duty. Oftentimes, he’s the navigator—due to also having experience with navigating the Altanul Steppes using only the stars of the night sky.

At long last, the glittering lights of the La Victoria Starlight Basin appeared over the horizon, followed by a sign in which it was written “LVSB - 5KM”. Ong and Valdez, exhausted after almost eighteen hours of travel, were relieved to see their destination loom closer.
“Pare, andyan na!” (Brother, it is there)
“Iyan na ba iyon?” (Is that it?)
“Dyan ang kasal. Sa wakas, tapos na byahe!” (The wedding is there. At long last, the journey is over! )
“Salamat sa Diyos, mamatay nako rito!”
(Thank God! I am going to die here!)
“Loko ka! Mag-isa halos ako nagmaneho
nitong kalesa! Panood-nood ka lang.”
(You're joking! I ran this kalesa almost all by myself. You're just watching.)
“Gago, ikaw nga nakatulog ka noong kakaalis lang natin ng paliparan.”
(Stupid, you're the one who slept when we had just left the airport)
“Porket nakatulog nga ako, palpak na man pagmaneho mo!”
(Even though I did sleep, you drive like crap!)
“Kung palpak ako, e di patay na tayo lahat diba?”
(If I drive like crap, then we should be all dead right?)

The Sheshan Safira was slouched over in her air-conditioned carriage, having drifted off to a peaceful sleep several hours ago. With her in the cabin was Aria, the loyal handmaiden of the Aisar Dynasty—yet her service to her protege was not just confined to assistant duties. Betraying the belief from the outside eye, she was also well-trained by the Battle General Surhud Raji in the art of self-defense, and knows very well how to keep her protege safe and sound. Hidden beneath her maid uniform—a pristine white cloak similar to one commonly worn by women practicing the Islamic Faith, was a small handheld pistol that fired liquid napalm at a target, enough to scald human skin. She was squatting on the cabin floor, silently manicuring the nails of her mistress with intricate designs taken from Rinchoi Mythology.

As she was manicuring Safira’s nails, she was getting annoyed with repeated sounds coming from the roof, as Luvsan was repeatedly knocking on the back window.
“Ey, maybe its time for you to take the rear now?”
“And why is that?”
“It’s hot out here cant you see? I’m here outside, in this sweltering heat, while you’re there inside enjoying the sweet AC. Maybe its my turn inside the cabin now?”
“No can do, Luvsan. You’re the Royal Guard here. I’m the mistress’s maid, so I should stay by her side.”
“Royal Guard? Since when have I become her Royal Guard? You’re the one with army training here, you should be watching the rear! I have been sitting here, on this metal, in the hot sun, trying not to fall off to my death for the past eighteen hours! Sometimes, I wonder what was going through Surhud’s head when he decided this cleaning lady would be the perfect one to guard the Sheshan.”
Aria’s eyes momentarily flashed with anger as she suddenly pointed her napalm blaster at Luvsan.
“Do not test my patience, Luvsan. For this little thing right here will easily melt off that hideous face of yours”.

Luvsan eyed her like he was about to kill her with his bare hands, which he could probably do given his physique.

Clearly the shaking from their confrontation must have disturbed both Ong and Valdez, as both of them had stopped bickering over who had done the most work pulling the carriage in order to bring Aria and Luvsan back on good terms, especially after seeing Aria holding Luvsan at gunpoint.

“Ey, ey, calm down now? We don't want to start an international incident before we even arrive at the venue. Besides, are you really going to disturb your protege? “

Finally, the carriage pulled up to the gates of the venue, Ong and Valdez leading the horses to a gentle halt. Minutes before as they entered the property gates, Aria finally awoke Safira from her gentle slumber.

“Fair greetings, my lady. Onva (Ong and Valdez) has informed me that we are here at last. “

Sheshan Safira gently stretched her arms, deeply refreshed and relaxed after that long slumber, as Aria had also applied soothing oils onto her sore muscles while she was asleep. To her, the journey was quick and speedy, oblivious to what had almost taken placr had it not been for her horsemen, who by this point had exhausted themselves after 18 hours on their steeds. The still bright rays of the evening sunshine shone brightly onto her waking eyes, closing on instinct.

As she walked through the main doors, she held the amethyst necklace hung around her neck tight, the locket kept inside her clasped palm as she adjusted it. No one, even her servants knew what was inside that locket. It wasn't an obvious piece of jewelry as well.

"Oh well. Let the night begin.", Safira whispered to herself as she tried to find her cousin.

Tobias gestured lightly toward the nearby reception tables with a friendly grin.

“Would you like something to drink or eat? The lechon and soup are excellent tonight — I’d be happy to grab something for you.”

Prime Minister Elena Santos Marquez was the woman who was most ready to deal with the arrival of a distinctive royal carriage. The sight of the three horses and the elegant purple-clad woman stepping out made her pause for a moment. She quickly appreciated the new situation, the new guest before she adjusted her yellow dress and approached with her best and most welcoming smile — professional yet genuinely warm.

“Sheshan Safira,” Elena said, offering nod with respect. She extended her hand. “I am Elena Santos Marquez, Prime Minister of the New Solisian Union. It is an honor to welcome you to Princess Catia’s wedding.”

Her eyes briefly took in the purple dress, sapphire earrings, and the amethyst necklace Safira held close.

“Your journey must have been long. Arriving by traditional carriage is quite striking — very fitting for such an occasion.” Elena said, her voice soft, “I hope the travel wasn’t too tiring. I understand you’re also preparing for your own wedding soon. You are to be... wed to Prince Soheil, yes? That must bring both joy and considerable responsibility, especially with succession matters involved.”

She quickly remembered what must be done next and she gestured gracefully toward the reception area.

“Our staff can help you get something. We have chilled juices, light refreshments, or something stronger if you prefer. I can have a quiet table arranged for you if you’d like a moment to rest before the ceremony begins. We’re quite glad you could join us tonight. All friends are welcome, after all.”

Being late is not a great way to make a first impression. Of course Hibiki was taught that but it's also hard to help it when she's been traveling by sea the last four months now and with a few more to go before being home. She can't deny she's tired but this is important, her first outing as "Princess" as the new true "Heir" since being taken under the wing of Duchess Villa, since saying goodbye to her old village. It's a life she wants and feels like she's really born for. Countless young women in the nation must feel the same, so lest she squander her chance. Now she landed in the Solisian Union. All the storms battled, all the ports rested at, this is the last leg of her goodwill journey so it's important to make it proper. At her side, the maiden who has been loyal and true and stood by through it all, Takayo Koyagami. Takayo does stand out a bit compared to her charge, with a plainer looking kimono, contrast to Hibiki's far more ornate kimono. Together they pause, sizing up the room and crowd, it's a warm turnout so far, with some big players of regional politics and powerful nations and even some familiar faces too. "Ah, looks like the Marshites are also here tonight." Hibiki says with a smile. Holy Marsh being a long time ally.
"Indeed ,Milady, it seems their nation and our host have forged strong ties recently." Takayo notes

"Good, that already gives the UIS and The Wessite New Order something in common at least. Though I'd rather not talk much about the affairs of the Matriarchy tonight." Hibiki says, "I'd much rather talk about us. I don't know how much they know about us or even care."

"That is why I stress you should do research ahead of time, Milady, but as such I do understand your own point of view. As you say, best way to get people to open up to you, is to get them to talk all about themselves first."

"Let's hope, flattery gets us everywhere tonight. As a young Princess in a sea of heavy hitters of the region, I best make a warm impression to our delightful hosts." Hibiki spreads a paper fan hiding her sly smile

"Well spoken, Milady, truly mine and Her Highness's teachings continue to sharpen your wit about you. Anyway, let's proceed." Koyomi still has to hold to Hibiki's side like glue. Rules about security and weapons were not clear so they played it safe and opted to not bring any and put their trust in their host. Granted, it's highly unlikely anyone cares enough to assassinate or kidnap the young Princess, AHSCA isn't much of a powerbroker in the nation that many would find worth targeting. Unless someone just really wants money but that's more likely out in the streets than a formal inter-regional event such as this.

He offered her a small smile and nodded. Tobias allowed some silence to pass before he sighed a little and said, “You know, Avril… La Victoria can be more than just ceremony and politics. Once the vows are done and Catia stops turning this whole basin into her personal festival, would you be interested in staying a few extra days? There’s a quiet path along the Ginwan cliffs at sunset that’s worth seeing — nothing formal, just a walk. Or if you prefer something calmer, I could clear my schedule for lunch or dinner. No royal entourage, no hidden agendas. Just… good company and decent food. What do you say?”

He rubbed the back of his neck, a rare sheepish gesture, clearly unused to extending personal invitations but sincere in the offer.

AHSCA wrote:"Well spoken, Milady, truly mine and Her Highness's teachings continue to sharpen your wit about you.

Karanja Solari Vasa moved with his characteristic bright energy, his robes a vibrant living tapestry. The base was a tailored Solisian tunic. It was different from the others, as he did not wear the olive-green, but he instead wore Azenian blues and Rasur reds. It was practical yet elegant with the radiant Yellow Star prominently embroidered on the chest in golden thread. Over it flowed Azenian-inspired silk panels in deep crimson and gold, adorned with subtle matriarchal tribal patterns and faint body-paint motifs along the sleeves and hem. A wide Elizarinian sash of wave-patterned silk — dyed in shifting hues of turquoise, coral, and pearl-white — was wrapped around his waist, fastened with a small cluster of genuine Magadanga pearls and delicate coral beads that caught the light with every step.

Spotting the young AHSCAian princess and her loyal handmaiden, Karanja’s face lit up with genuine delight. He approached with open arms and a warm, theatrical bow, voice rich and welcoming.

“Ah! Princess Nanao and Lady Koyagami — what a true honor to have the UIS grace our humble celebration under the Yellow Star!” He clapped his hands together once, eyes sparkling. “I am Karanja, Co-Minister of Culture and Historical Preservation. Please, allow me to make you feel truly at home. The Triad shrines here tell stories of unity across sea, sky, and land — much like your long journey to join us tonight. Would you care for a quiet corner with the sweetest festival treats, or shall I personally escort you closer to the pavilion to see the lanterns dance before the ceremony begins? Tonight is about love and new beginnings, and we Solisians believe every guest should leave with a full heart and brighter memories.”

Faydonn Senequet walks into the hall, his suit pressed and clean. He shows his invitation and is quickly ushered into the waiting area. He looks around at the architecture of the Starlight Basin, gazing at its beauty. Each nation has its wonders, he thinks to himself. He heads over to the wedding pavilion and finds a Triad Faith shrine. Out of respect for the local customs, he leaves some barley at the altar.

He spotted Guenther Reinländer, and walked over to him. "Mr. Foriegn Minister, it is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Faydonn Senequet, owner of Binz. Quite a wedding we have today, isn't it?" Faydonn shakes his hand, and the two talk some more. He noticed the Field Marshal as well. "Lovely dress, Field Marshal. I pray you don't go into combat with it!" Faydonn decides to read a company memo as the conversation moves away from him, and he is alerted to something startling. There had been an attempt on his life the day before, and Faydonn had just learned that there had been another one just 2 hours ago. Thankfully, all those involved had been arrested, and now that he was at the wedding, which he had told no one about, there would be no need to worry.

Avril chuckled softly as she pulled out her phone to text a quick message. "You're totally right, Highness! I was just thinking how much I'd like to explore some of these areas on my own time—especially the Ginwan Cliffs and that little path you mentioned."

A pause.

"I'll definitely be interested in your lunch or dinner idea. That's such a thoughtful gesture from you, and I'm sure we can find something fun to do together."
