Vice-President Lowe takes up the position of President.

The Puerto Rican National Guard, numbering 7,000, moves into position to attack the insurrectionists that are dug in on the South side of the island. They wait for the planes to attack the position.

The F-14's are deployed from the carrier, the USS Forrester. 12 of them are deployed and fire their missiles at the enemy postions

The Puerto Rican National Guard see the F-14s and watch the missiles pummel the enemy's position, they then move in quickly. They take few losses and rout and capture most of the Insurrectionists.

Secret:
On the island the Freedom Fighters get word of the failed insurrection move on the mainland. Despite this they continue work for the major campaign to take back Puerto Rico. Merendez De Santiago organizes the army into 3 brigades (10,500 men). The tank program continues to grow but the production on the first tank is still continuing.
