The Argean Wars OC Development Thread (TWI ONLY)

Postby Kravato » Tue Jul 30, 2024 4:35 pm

Hello Argeans, and non-Argeans who are involved in these wars!

I've made a thread for all the wars/conflicts which are often labeled "The Argean Wars", a series of wars and conflicts primarily fought in Argus from the 1800s to the beginning of the Imperial War. Here's a link to a (rather out of date) post by Dormill & Stiura including much of the information.

Please feel free to talk about your nation's history from 1800 to the IW so we can work all these wars out.

Here's Kravato's timeline from 1810-1940

1810: Kravatoan states organize to begin the Kravatoan War of Independence against the Iszkari Confederation. This is after the Iszkari attempt to break the Home Rule Union, a local form of resistance government.
1810-1817: Kravatoan War of Independence is fought.
1817: Treaty of Sapli ends the Kravatoan War of Independence.
1818: Kravatoan states organize into the one nation of Kravato.
1819: The Prakvit, the Kravatoan Constitution, is made.
1820: Tarve Barso I is coronated and Baskalesko Archotsko is elected first Chaliseph of Kravato.

From this point on to the end of the first half of the 19th century, Kravato was a brand-new state and acted as one. It focused much more on itself and on stabilizing its economy, institutions, and infrastructure rather than focusing on the politics of the world "outside". However, this Kravato still has the propensity to secure foreign policy investments, which as a new nation with no allies, it would've needed. So, while it would be virtually unable to field large forces in a war on the mainland, it might be able to offer aid and help. Most of all, it could provide naval support, as it already had a large merchant navy which would've only increased after the Independence War as well as a navy which would've seen the same rise. Towards the 1840s, Kravato might get more aggressive as it feels more comfortable in its statehood, which is something to consider.

1843: An opportunistic Vacrusian government launches an attack on Iersheno, beginning the Kravatoan-Vacrusian War. (If I remember this also involved the invasion of the Tsunterlands, but since I am no longer a colonizing force, I'm not sure how it was connected anymore. It might've been a joint attack to reclaim "Vacrusian lands" organized by new leadership in Vacrus, or something of the sort.)
1843-1851: The Kravatoan-Vacrusian War (I think this war might be just a little longer than I want.)
1854-onward: Kravato becomes one of the most industrialized nations in South Argus and the Mesder (not a stretch seeing that even with our late independence, we'd been freer for longer than our neighbors, and also because of Kravato's lack of harsh geography/climate which might stunt interconnectivity in other Argean nations. Another thing to note is that pre-independence Kravato wasn't a extraction-based colonial colony, and we'd even served as the capital of the Iszkari Confederation for several decades.)

I'm explaining that part so much so that our path to becoming one of the more developed Argean nations is clearer. Also, because it sets the pace for our mentality for the next 50 years. During this time, we'd be much more willing to intervene in neighboring conflicts and Argean conflicts and try to use our power. Other than this change in Kravato's mindset, other than cultural/internal lore Kravato has nothing developed until the 1910s. The only thing I do know is that we'd be more focused on Mesder power as well as aiding in the creation of democracies in our Argean neighbors (primarily freedom in the Tsunterlands and the end of the Salimanese Kingdom). A sort of Argonationalism would develop in the latter part of the second half ofth the 19th century, with its tenets being the end of all colonial-age holdings in Argus, as well as the idea that ensuring democratic principles in Argus would be the most important thing in rebuilding Argus after colonial-period stagnation on the mainland.

1911: The Tsunters begin the Great Tsunter Rebellion, and the Tsunter state is supported by Kravato. This increases tension with their rulers, Vacrus and Solaryia.
1912-1913: Tensions build between Kravato and Solaryia in the Mesder Sea. There might be some salvos fired, some warning shots, maybe an "accidental" sinking, etc.
1914-1915: A small conflict erupts between Kravato and Solaryia over potentially Rosendal or a new bold territory if we see fit. This would be pretty small-scale and eventually end in 1915 with a probable armistice, and some owed funds. Pretty much, it'd be a stalemate and not seen as notable.
1916: The Parrot War begins and Kravato starts shipping aid and munitions to the United Partitions, as any loss for the Solaryi would increase Kravatoan Mesder strength. It would also mean more stability for Argean democracies, as well as the continuation of the end of the colonization of Argus, two ideas which were at the forefront of Kravato's goals. It also distracts the Solaryians from their Tsunter problem.
1916 or 1917: The Solaryis sink a Kravatoan ship or multiple, causing Kravato to either officially or unofficially enter the war. The Kravatoan navy helps make waging the war more strenuous on the Solaryi, and perhaps even a Kravatoan Expeditionary Force is sent. This would also be an important testing ground for the Kravatoan Air Force.
1918 or 1919: Kravato distances itself from the war as the Salimanese struggle and make victory improbable.

During the 1920s and 1930s Kravato also has plenty of time for new developments and things. All I do know is that sometime during this period Kravato gave an official independence guarantee for the Tsunterlands, which would cause our entrance into the IW.

1940: Kravato enters the Imperial War after the invasion of the Tsunterlands by combined Vacrusian, Salimanese, and Solaryi forces.

I'm leaving it there, because that's when it becomes Imperial War territory. The hope is that by the end of this, most of these decades are full and fleshed out. A lot of stuff written here is also pretty vague and needs ironing out too.

Hi everyone. The Tsunter Revolution Period (which i have variously called the Tsunter War for Independence or the Tsunter Rebellion) is a broad term for the years of 1890 to 1919 in Tsunter history which covers the efforts by the Tsunters to establish their own nation.

This is broadly what’s been agreed to in the discord chat although I never got around to including it in my official history

TL;DR: At the dawn of the 20th century the Tsunterlands was divided between three imperial powers: The Tsunter Protectorate, ran by the Solaryi Empire, which controlled the Long Hook Peninsula and the Northern Tsunterlands; Okauyezonotetl, under the Salimanese, which controlled the Tsunter Interior and the finally the Kingdom of Vacrus which occupied the Little Hook Peninsula and the Southern Tsunterlands.

  • 1890: The Solaryi Empire grants Tsunters living on the Long Hook Peninsular home rule
  • 1909: the Tsunters started a campaign of terrorism against the Kingdom of Vacrus
  • 1911: The terrorism evolves into a full-blown war - Vacrus (maybe backed by Solaryia) against the Tsunterlands (backed by Kravato)
  • 1917: The Tsunters win the war against Vacrus with the aid of Mauricans living in the Interior
  • 1919: The Tsunter annex the Interior from Salimanasia and form the Republic of the Tsunterlands, betraying the Mauricans in the process

Stuff I want to address
  • What was Solaryia's position: Did they want to regain control of the peninsular? Were they worried about Vacrusian/ Kravatoan influence ect?
  • What was the Salimanese doing in the Interior? How much resistance did both Maurican forces face when they were trying to seceede or Tsunter forces when they annexed the Interior?
  • Did Solaryia see the violance in the Interior as a way to undermine the Salimanese? Likewise did the Salimanese ever view the Tsunter uprisings as a way to undermine the Solaryians?
  • What was Solaryia's and Salimanasia's relationships with Vacrus like at this time?

Tsunter Protectorate

A Solaryi presence in the Tsunterlands began in 1734 with the victory of the Solaryi navy over a alliance of Tsunter pirates and the establishment of a number of Solaryia forts on the northern coast of the Long Hook Peninsular, ostensibly for the purpose of ending piracy in the region. In 1810 the newly created Solaryi Commonwealth reorganised these territories into the Tsunter Protectorate. Overtime their territory and influence gradually grew but the largest expansion occurred in 1848 after the fall of the Kravatoan colony of Kolskaia to the Kingdom of Vacrus. The Solaryians took advantage and annexed much of the northern coast of the Tsunterlands. The Solaryians ruled with a light touch from their administrative capital of Ganwārs, recruiting local Tsunters as civil servants and constables to administer themselves on behalf of the Solaryi state. The Protectorate’s limited resources and poorly development economy focused on a handful of mines in the Long Hook Peninsular’s Hills.

By the late 19th century Tsunter nationalism began to rise as Tsunters protested their lack of political representation. There were a number of protests and violent clashes with local security forces and the Solaryi state made the calculation that the Tsunterlands were simple not valuable enough to justify the cost that would have been needed to preserve control. As such the Tsunter Protectorate was granted home rule in 1890 with the creation of a Tsunter Parliament with powers over most domestic affairs. Overtime the Tsunter Parliament’s power grew at the expense of the colonial administrators. When the Long Hook and Little Hook Peninsular sought to unify in 1917 there was little the Protectorate could do, or even desired to do, to stop it and as such the Protectorate was dissolved.

Vacrusian-Occupied Tsunterlands
The Kingdom of Vacrus took control of the wealthy and developed Little Hook Peninsular in the 1840s following their victory over the Kravatoans and their seizure of what had been the Kravatoan colony of Kolskaia. They impose their authority through religion and violence, repressing the local Raafiist in favour of their interpretation of Roman Catholicism. The local Tsunter population was given the status of serfs, with non-existent legal rights. Resources, such as the south’s sugar plantations left behind by the Kravatoans, were extracted using slave-like labour conditions. As food was shipped south a particularly brutal famine in the 1860s left thousands dead. Tsunter Nationalism grew to resist the Vacrusians and by the 1900s, multiple guerilla militant groups had arisen aiming to liberate the Tsunterlands. The liberation of the Little Hook Peninsular also became the main strategic goal of the Tsunter Protectorate after it achieved home rule from the Solaryians. The Protectorate and the Kingdom of Vacrus would eventually go to war in 1911 leading to a brutal four year conflict between the two nations. As Vacrusian power waned, they resorted to a campaign of ethnic clensing against Tsunters over their remaining territory, an act that turned much of the international community against them. Eventually in 1917 the Vacrusians agreed to withdraw from the region, and shortly afterwards the Long Hook and Little Hook Peninsulars unified to form the First Republic of the Tsunterlands.

Okauyezonotetl
(POINT OF CLARITY: Okauyezonotetl is not one partition but lots of small partitions under local Salimanese rulers)

Since the early 1700s the Tsunter Interior had been a patchwork of Mauricans (who’d settled the area in 800 BCE), Salimanese (who’d arrived with the Chah-Chajd empire in the 15th century AD) and Tsunters (who had come in the 1720s). The three people’s living alongside each other, occasionally warring, with no state truly occupying the region. At that time the Mauricans were the largest population in the Interior although were not a majority.
Upon gaining its independence in 1839 Salimanasia listed its borders as stretching to the Tsunter Interior, recording the territory as Okauyezonotetl (meaning Sunlight Lake), after the Chah-Chajd Pautixoanko that had once existing in the region. While there was some interest in the region’s economic wealth, the Salimanese primarily sought the used the rainforests and mountains of the area as a buffer between itself and the Kravatoans, and then the Vacrusians.
Actual Salimanese control over the area was via asserting through diplomatic and economic power rather than military means, as they built a network of alliances and trade routes amongst the various Maurican, Salimanese and Tsunter tribes in the area. Often they sought to play off the various people’s off one another to divide and rule. While this was successful insofar as by the late 19th century most nation’s readily accepted the Salimanese claim over the region (the border with the Vacrusians and the Solaryians was negotiated in 18XX and 18XX respectively), it led to the build-up of ethnic rivalries which would go to have bloody and destructive results in the 20th century.

The Maurican Sovereignty Front was a notable Maurican nationalist group that operated in the Interior during this time. They called for an independent state acting as a continuation of the old Kingdom of Límnia. The Tsunters and the Salimanese both feared that would see their communities marginalised culturally and economically.

In 1916, the Salimanese became embroiled in the Parrot War against the Solaryians. They were aided by the Kravatoans who were also allied with the nascent Tsunter state. The Kravatoans put pressure on the Salimanese not to intervene as the Maurican Sovereignty Front, now aiding the Tsunters in their war against Vacrus, were clearly making plans for secede and form their desired state.

When the Tsunters turned against the Mauricans and seized the Interior for themselves, the Salimanese, war-weary from the parrot war did not attempt to resist, but refused to recognised the Tsunter claim to the area.

This next section is all new stuff i've been working in regards to the Tsunter Revolution. Apologies for the bad organising, its very first drafty. I've included some potential options for how Solaryia could react because alot of this stuff does depend on what they do. Happy to change anything or completely rethink any part of this war.

There were two main Tsunter factions pushing for independence: ZTO and Sá Hóunāea. The Young Tsunter Brotherhood (called the ZTO or Zúlēahou Tsūna Oról) was composed of a political wing and a militant wing. They were formed in the 1860s and initially operated as a group of secret societies pushing for the independence and unification of the Tsunterlands. They wanted the Tsunterlands to be a modern, industrialised nation with a central government. They had a presence in all three occupied regions but were strongest in the Tsunter Protectorate.

Sá Hóunāea (translating to The Alliance) – was a loose coalition of local Tsunter clan militias spread across the Tsunterlands formed in 1891 via a secret meeting of various Clan Captains. Although they lacked the national coordination of the ZTO, their local forces were far more developed, being based on long-standing clan militias. Their political goals with less clear than the ZTO’s but they clung on to a highly romanticised dream of a Tsunterlands where the clans acted as local rulers. Their presence was strongest in Vacrusian-Occupied areas and the Interior. While the ZTO only truly began combat operations in 1909, Sá Hóunāea were continually launching small scale (and quickly crushed) rebellions against the Vacrusians from the 1890s onwards. They also often clashed with Maurican nationalist groups, such as the MSF in the Interior.

On the Long Hook Peninsula, the ZTO played a key role in the Tsunter Protectorate gaining home rule by organising protests, labour strikes and acts of civil disobedience. When the Solaryi Commonwealth made the decision to grant the region home rule, they negotiated directly with the ZTO. Afterward gaining home rule the ZTO became the dominant faction with the devolved Tsunter Parliament via the new National Republic Party. The ZTO records this as the beginning of the Tsunter Revolution. After gaining independence the ZTO began to seek an alliance with nearby Kravato, hoping to acquire weapons and funds to develop a professional army.

The Kingdom of Vacrus was far less tolerant of the ZTO’s activities driving the organisation underground. After the Tsunter Protectarate gained home-rule, it was clear the same tactics of open protest and civil disobedience would be ineffective against the repressive Vacrusian occupation regime. In 1909 the ZTO began a campaign of terrorism against the Vacrusian state, with the hope of either forcing the Vacrusians to the negotiation table or inspiring a mass uprising. The Vacrusians responded brutally, operating a policy of killing 10 Tsunters for every Vacrusian killed.

Although independent from the ZTO, Sá Hóunāea also stepped up their operations in this period, as various clan militias took control of a number of small towns and villages. The Vacrusians quickly reacted to push them out of major settlements, installing large garrisons across the territory.

Claiming (correctly) that the ZTO were coordinating their activities from with the Tsunter Protectorate, the Vacrusians put pressure on the Solaryi Commonwealth to allow them to enter the Tsunter Protectorate and destroy the ZTO’s base of operations.

Option 1) By 1911, the Kingdom of Vacrus were no longer willing to tolerate the ZTO’s activities and informed the Solaryi government they intended to conduct “counterterrorism” operations within the Tsunter Protectorate. The Solaryi Commonwealth diplomatically protested the Vacrusian actions but secretly made plans to reassume direct control over the Long Hook Peninsular after the Vacrusians had destroyed the government of the Protectorate.

Option 2) By 1911 having successfully developed a modernised local standing army, the Tsunter Protectorate, led by the ZTO-controlled National Republic Party, launched a full-scale invasion into the Vacrusian occupied Tsunterlands.

This would mark the start of what is termed the Tsunter War for Independence.

Early in the war, the front stabilised in the swampy marshes of the Northen Tsunterlands. The Vacrusian superior numbers and better equipment won most pitched battles whilst the ZTO’s network of terror cells disrupted their supply lines, slowing any potential advance.

The first major upset in the war occurred in early 1913, when the ZTO attacked Bá Bārossa, the largest city in the Tsunterlands. Hundreds of small boats launched from the shores of the Long Hook Peninsula and crossed the Bay of Thieves in the dead of a moonless night. As the Vacrusian garrison responded to the hordes of Tsunters emerging from the sea, the local population rose up in rebellion, seizing control of the garrison’s armoury. Sá Hóunāea militias aided in the attack taking control of the territory connecting the Little Hook peninsular to the mainland, cutting off the Vacrusians’ ability to reinforce the city by land.

Option) The Kravatoan navy sent warships to the southern coast of the peninsular, to prevent the Vacrusians sending reinforcements by the sea.

After two months of intense urban fighting, the city fell and the Little Hook Peninsular was once again under the control of the Tsunters after almost eighty years of occupation.

After the city fell and with a lack of progress on the Northern Front, voices within the ZTO began calling for a ceasefire with the Vacrusians, hoping to negotiate the return of the rest of their land. The Vacrusians agreed to the talks in August of 1913, if only to give them time to reorganize their forces and for nearly nine months a ceasefire was maintained. The Tsunterlands was not free from violence however as Sá Hóunāea continued their own war against the Vacrusian state. Their militias engaged in small skirmishes with the Vacrusians with the goal of assert their control over what they saw as their clan’s various local territories. They also clashed with each other over territorial disputes and within the Interior regularly tried to push out Maurican and Salimanese peoples supposedly living “too close” to Tsunter populations.

During the ceasefire, the ZTO government would invite the Kravatoan military to send advisors to the Long Hook Peninsular, to both train and assist with the overall strategy of their war effort.

By 1914 it was clear the peace talks were failing, and violence began to break out between the Tsunter-Vacrusian frontline. In the spring of that year the Vacrusians launched (Option: WITH SOLARYI NAVAL SUPPORT?) a new offensive into the Long Hook Peninsular. Making use of new armoured vehicles and advances in airpower they pushed the Tsunters back to the city of Gothrae, the second largest city of the Tsunterlands and the ZTO’s base of operations. A vast network of fortifications was built around the city, which was relentless bombarded and assaulted by the Vacrusian forces. The siege of Gothrae would last nearly two years.

The outbreak of war between Kravato and Solaryia would threaten the former’s supply convoys to the beleaguered Tsunter forces. Food and medicine grew scarce and thousands of Tsunters across the nation died to disease and malnutrition.

The end of violence between Kravato and Solaryia, as well as the latter’s entrance into the Parrot War in Northern Argus, helped to relieve the Tsunter forces and a spring offensive was able to push the frontline away from Gothrae. However, the greatest success for the Tsunters occurred in the late summer. The ZTO successfully negotiated to create a United Front between themselves, Sá Hóunāea and the Maurican Sovereignty Front, the most prominent Maurican nationalist group. Their agreement was conditional on the understanding that after the war the Tsunters would aid in the establishment of an independent Maurican state within the Tsunter Interior.

As spring dawned in 1916, a new army of Tsunters and Mauricans emerged from the rainforests of the Interior, pushing the Vacrusians from the east as the ZTO drove the Vacrusians from the north and west. As the Vacrusians retreated southwards they burned the countryside behind them and massacred any Tsunter civilians they found, killing thousands as they fled south. Kravatoan-made aircraft was supplied to the Tsunter forces giving them a new advantage in the war.

A new frontline briefly stabilised in early 1917 stretching from the south-east of the Little Hook Peninsular to the mountains of the western Interior. The war-weary Vacrusian government offered then to accept peace-terms, allowing all that the Tsunters had taken to become independent while retain control over the Southern Tsunterlands.

Whilst the ZTO made overtures of accepting peace-talks, Sá Hóunāea launched an uprising from the southern city of Bá Ambāra, seizing a vital logistical hub for the Vacrusian forces. The United Front relaunched their own offensive, breaking through the Vacrusian frontline. As the Vacrusian army tried to regroup south, many of their units found themselves trapped between Sá Hóunāea and the United Front. The Tsunters, angered at the atrocities committed against their people, operated a take-no prisoners policy, slaughtering hundreds of prisoners of war.
This action threated the international support for the Tsunter rebellion, and the ZTO made the decision to enter sincere peace-talks with the Vacrusians (despite calls from within their forces to push on an seize more Vacrusian territory). The Vacrusians agreed to what is now the current border between the two nations on the 6th of April 1917.

Almost as soon as the war ended the United Front broke down as Sá Hóunāea militias based in the Interior began attacking the Maurican Sovereignty Front. The ZTO officially condemned these actions but, as Sá Hóunāea was held sway over the Southern Tsunterlands, were reluctant to start a civil war within the Tsunterlands. The United Partitions, embroiled in the losing Parrot War, could not spare the resources to maintain order in the territory they officially claimed as their own.

The ZTO spent much of 1917 and 1918 on diplomatic efforts, trying to secure recognition for their new Tsunter state, as well as beginning to engage in the process of deciding what form their new nation would take. The political differences between the ZTO, who wanted a centralised government, and Sá Hóunāea, who clung on the dream of a maritime, clan-controlled Tsunterlands, began to grow more apparent.

In the spring of 1919, the ZTO agreed to act as peace-brokers between Sá Hóunāea and the Maurican Sovereignty Front. Their soldiers entered the Interior, officially to enforce a cease-fire between the two other factions. However, when representatives of the Maurican Soveignty Front arrived at (X) for negotiations they were arrested by the ZTO and were tortured into signing a document agreeing to allow the new Tsunter nation to take control of the Interior. The ZTO and Sá Hóunāea turned on the Mauricans, disarming and executing their militants and terrorising their population into submission. Thousands of Mauricans were forced out of urban settlements and fled into the jungle or futher afield, to their homeland in Baumes. The Salimanese would the new boundary changes but as their recovered from their humiliation in the Parrot War, they made no attempt to directly challenge the Tsunter claim.

With the annexation of the Interior complete, the Tsunter Revolution came to an end, the ZTO’s dream of a united and liberated Tsunterlands having finally be realised. The leaders of the ZTO and the Captains of the various Tsunter clans, including those aligned with Sá Hóunāea, came to Bá Bārossa to sign a new constitution. The Republic of the Tsunterlands was formed on the 10th of November 1919.

The capital was relocated to Ba Bārossa which would house the new Tsunter Parliament. Ana Yīf, a former ZTO spy turned war hero, became the country’s first president. The National Republic Party, the political wing of the ZTO became the dominant political party, while many of the leaders of Sá Hóunāea would form the main opposition party during this period, the Free People’s Party.

Formerly a pirate republic. A country of Mediterranean peninsulas, mountains and rainforests. Home to a thriving palm oil, phosphate mining and financial services sector. A flawed democracy just trying to survive in dangerous times..

(map of Porija and the first war)

The region of northern Porija (the land by the Baumes-SM-SSA junction) has been inhabited by the kingdoms of Mupria, Hapria, and Erdia-Crumland of the modern day Socialist States of Argus since ancient times, but in 1621 the region was annexed by the Gorian Kingdom of Baumes, which occupies present-day eastern Baumes. in 1718 the Gorian Kingdom split into three entities, the kingdom of Larem, the Kingdom of Maurica, and the Kingdom of Porija. The Kingdom of Larem merged with the Kingdom of Maurica not long later to form the Maurican Union. The kingdom of Porija continued its existence as a sovereign state largely because of cultural and political differences with the Maurican Union. But San Montagna sees Porija as free real estate because no one else wants it but it is San Montagna's passageway to the sea. Meanwhile, Mupria, Hapria, and Erdia-Crumland also see Porija as a potential site for expansion. They are essentially the same race and therefore the same culture and they view northern Porija as their own territory stolen from them centuries ago and now they want that back. San Montagna and Mupria, Hapria, and Erdia-Crumland, now merged into one coalition, sign an agreement to jointly invade Porija and split up the land. Overwhelmed, Porija surrenders after just 2 years of fighting.

Later, the Maurican Union became the Kingdom of Baumes and in 1850, Baumes and San Montagna goes to war due to Montagnan fears of Baumes expanding and its own security, where San Montagna ended up losing the entirety of its portion of Porija.

The First Porijan War could've started in around 1860, not long after the Baumish-Montagnan war. It started when the coalition began becoming worried that Baumes would invade them next and started ramping up defenses by the border and also bulking up its military. Baumes sees this as an act of aggression and does the same, but also places blockades on the coalition. Baumish naval ships also start harassing coalition ships entering and leaving the eastern ports of coalition-controlled cities. The coalition gets fed up and invades Baumes. Initially, the coalition makes large progress, having had taken Baumes by surprise since Baumes didn't actually believe an invasion would occur, but after about a year Baumes gains its ground and starts making progress. By the second year of fighting, Baumes had pushed back the coalition to pre-war positions and began entering their own territory itself. By the third year, a treaty is signed, where Baumes gains most of the coalition's portion of Porija, a somewhat generous offer. This would also explain the large Haprian cultural presence in the region even today, and also the resemblance between Romancians and Haprians.

The Second Porijan war likely would've been sometime in the 1900s, not long after Baumes had just recovered from a revolution that overthrew its monarchy and replaced it with a republic. Baumes wasn't exactly in a very good position and was still in relative chaos and turmoil but nothing too huge. Meanwhile, the coalition monarchy was growing unpopular or something and they were prompted to invade a weakened Baumes for glory and also in hopes of recovering Porija. A surprise attack is launched on Baumes and unsurprisingly, staggering progress is made. However, Baumes during the second year or so launched a massive offensive as a last-ditch effort which weakened coalition forces in Baumes and by the fourth year, Baumes had pushed the coalition quite far back its pre-war borders. This time they're not as generous and they demand a pretty large sum of land in the southeastern region of the coalition, and they is forced to comply with no other decision.

For the Third Porijan war, the Socialist States of Argus gains back almost all of its old land after Baumes invades them in around 1979. The war would probably last until both parties just agreed on a fixed border in 1980. However, this meant Baumes would lose a good amount of land gained from the second war.

To this day, however, relations remain cold and sour. The border between both nations would be heavily armed and both of them would place economic restrictions on each other.

Sorry it's very poorly written. This is largely a copy paste of what me and SSA has agreed exactly on.

To add details and context, the Coalition after the 1st War was also threatened by other states like Kaussel, Vlada, Bendan and Arvonna, Who were battling to gain Allies in the southern Region. The Coalition then, to demonstrate that It was still a force to be reckoned with, invaded Porija.

For the 1979 War, I would like to include a border incident that would escalate in the war
