What made matters more complicated was the fact that Lady Chaste had recently brought her nation out of the mire of isolationism and into the light of the galactic community. She of course could have her pick of suitable men from any number of Tocrowkian Noble Houses, but she was interested to see what political power she could gain from marrying a Noble, or perhaps even a royal from another space-fairing nation. Lady Chaste would love her husband, but she would always love her nation more. And if she could gain more power and prestige for her nation by marrying into a fellow star-nations royal house, then so be it. It would also solve the dilemma of an heir.
Too embarrassed to write the letter her self, she sought out one of her matchmakers in her Imperial Court. It may have seemed odd to some nations, but contained within the Stewardess' imperial court were, obviously, match makers, as well as musicians, artists, body guards, planetary governors, all of them present at her beckon call to assist her in what ever way she deemed appropriate. And so if their Stewardess asked them to write a letter of intent for her self, they would do it gladly. Crafted carefully as it was, to allow the Stewardess to potentially escape a decaying or unsatisfactory relationship and take other suitors if she wanted. Such was the tradition of the Tocrowkian Stewards. The message complete, it was broadcast to any interested parties.
"Hail and good will to all star fairing nations. It is our honor to announce that our blessed leader, Stewardess Amelie Chaste seeks a suitor from the galactic community, seeking both a partner to rule by her side and an heir to her title for future generations. There are of course requirements:
1) Suitors must be human, or at the very least, near human. If the latter is the case, they must be able to interbreed with humans.
2) Suitors must be free of the 'Psyker' gene. The Stewardess has no position on the matter of other psychic powers, e.g. Force Sensitivity.
3) The Suitor in question must allow for at least one male child between the couple to bare the name of the honorable House of Chaste.
4) Lady Chaste is to retain her maiden name, for political purposes.
5) Suitors recognize that, in the tradition of the Stewards of old, that the Stewardess is allowed to take other lovers, and potentially other spouses, but only if Her Grace wills it.
