With the ultimate failure of the referendum on the incorporation of the Sakha Republic, the Russian Federation has began their march into the Far East. This threatens the Japanese Empire and her holdings in the regions. The Sakha Republic is a sort of satellite state of the Japanese, while still maintaining a semi-democratic regime with heavy fascist-leaning policies. Two days after the refusal to join the Russian Federation, the Russian military has marched into the region.

This has been met with very little resistance.

The Sakha invasion is not the end of Russian expansionism, as their ultimate goal is to reunify and strengthen the Russian state. The Russians have long been disunited by the Germans. The Russian Federation has been recognized by the United Nations as the legitimate Russian government, the sole successor of the Soviet Union. This has allowed them to further their territory numerous times, usually peacefully. This is one of the first large-scale acts of violence by the Federation.

If this invasion succeeds, they will very likely push to annex Outer Manchuria, Kamchatka, Altai, and other nations that have been liberated.

With the signing of the Treaty of Berlin, the Second World War had ended. France, Russia, and several minor European powers had signed complete unconditional surrender to the German Reich. The Japanese had signed peace with what they called the legitimate government of China, although it was simply a puppet state and many guerilla fighters continued the efforts against the Japanese tyranny. With Soviet surrender, the Germans had captured land all the way up to Nenets, and the rest had collapsed into anarchy. The formation of small warlord states began, which began the Warlord Era in Russia.

The warlord era was marked by the emergence of several prominent states, notably the Russian Soviet Socialist Republic (a remnant of the former Soviet government), the Council for Reunification of Russia (formed after several villages and neighboring areas banded together to form a council), the Far Eastern Republic (effectively a puppet of the Japanese), the Peasant's Republic of Northern Siberia (local leaders unified for protection against Soviet incursions). These states were all in a state of warring amongst each other, as each began to raid her neighbors.

In 1972, the Komi Republic and the Republic of Nenetsia both declared their independence from the Greater German Reich with little resistance as Moskowien was encountering issues with their transformation from a Reichskommissariat to a Reichsland. German settlers had not yet reached much of Komi and Nenets.

With the unification of the Russian Federation, the end of Moskowien and even possibly the German Reich seems to be on the horizon.

In the 80s (1986 is when this is set), the United Nations is in a state of irrelevancy. After WW2, the United Nations was formed with Germany, Japan, Italy, and the United States being on the Security Council. The United Nations had helped keep the peace in Europe and the rest of the world for a very long time, but now Germany is starting to distance itself from the organization, becoming more isolationist. The United States has taken much offense to this, and any invasion on the German Reich would likely see American support.

Brief Lore: After the death of the Soviet Union, former Russian territory plunged into anarchy and new stages emerged. One of these states was Novosibirsk. Shukshin rose to power and proposed a confederation with other nations in the region to protect themselves from the Germans and raiders. The confederation eventually became the Russian Federation after the Confederal Duma passed the Act of Union of 1976, with Novosibirsk being the capital and main state in the Federation.

Brief Lore: The SRoM was founded out of the ousting of the Himmelsdorf dynasty in 1921 following a coup led by Peter-Guillaume von Larenz (Karl’s grandfather, Wilfried’s father). In the 30s the SRoM became a safe haven for Soviet marshals and other high ranking personnel in the Red Army during Stalin’s Great Purge (Wilfried fondly called Mikhail Tukachevsky his “uncle” during his childhood in the 30s-40s).

Brief Lore: The Franz Josef Land, after the big war, had been forgotten, as they were regarded by the few who noticed them as only some useless arctic islands. But not to Georgy Stepanov. At the end of the war, he took the Northern Flotilla and some transport ships with supplies, and took it up to the Franz Josef Land to set a naval base there, using the Northern Flotilla as their temporary homes while the naval base is created.

Though in 1946, the L'banian state joined the Soviets hesitantly as an ally in the Cold War. After the war, L'baniya was free again, and continued their pacifist growth along with their ecosystems.

Pls do.. the T-34s still work perfectly, it's just the firepower. Those things are almost 80, Those are the only ones I had up until 2011 when I took some Abrams from the U.S. in S. Sudan.
