MEANWHILE...
The Gracefallian troops cocked their guns and laid down sandbags between the borders, a make-shift fortress, trenches dug between the sandbags so as to allow a sleeping and hiding place if any shooting breaks out. Machinegunners laid down their heavy weaponry, while snipers took a spot on nearby cliffs and higher ground.
Both sides were patrolled constantly by the one-million soldiers, who kept on a firm sneer.
