Victoria was in the Throne Hall, sitting on her large golden throne while being surrounded by generals, politicians and Space Marines who were incessantly asking her what actions to take and updating her on the situation in the Empire and after hours of tiring conversation with her generals Victoria managed to reorganize the Empire. But this did not make her forget the situation of Chaos and the dangers it represents, so Victoria knew that she needed to regain her power and to do so she would need to find her Imperial Sword, lost after her defeat during the Battle of the Great Rift, with her sword being thrown somewhere in the Universe, in addition to reconquering several Imperial Planets to feed on people's faith and regain her powers, now Victoria would begin her expansion throughout the Universe and regain what was lost.

The Squad started to walk faster and headed towards the city center, this was their mission and they knew that if they failed, Mercury would be dominated.

[Romanic Imperium]

The Romanic Imperuim. An ancient civilization that had started at nearly the dawn of civilization on Terra back when it was named Earth. Over centuries the civilization evolved from a tribe, to the Romanic Kingdom, to the Romanic Republic, to the Romanic empire, then to the Romanic Imperuim. After the 6th Terran World War the Imperuim become a Hegemony of the world with a few minor nations not under Imperial rule. The imperuim stretched from what was known Europe to what was known as Asia. Slowly but surely the imperuim subjugated the world of Terra completely into its grasp. Soon the rest of the system was. Colonized by the imperuim. Then it happened. First contact with an alien species. The Dothra at first were friendly helping the imperuim learn of the precious technology to jump vast distances quickly which gave way to the imperuims expansion to other star systems. Then the Dothra turned on the imperuim, declaring war. The ensuing war lasted for a millenia only ending after the Imperuim seiged and took the Dothra Homeworld. The imperuim expanded creating a large empire. It eventually found neighbors and decided to explore for a new galaxy. They found it. The imperuim took two systems before it came into contact with multiple alien Empires. These empire were the Firtisian Galactic Empire, Empire of the Infinite, The Chiss Ascendency, and The Grysk Hegemony. The chiss become a vital ally to the imperuim with their brilliant tacticians, strong military, and vast knowledge of their galaxy. The Imperuim engaged with many wars with the Grysk, Firtisians, and the infinite. Which all came to a head 20 years ago in the inter-Galaxy War. The Imperuim, Chiss, and their allys went to war with the Grysk, Firtisian Galactic Empire, the empire of the Infinite, Multiple factions in the imperuims home galaxy, and their allys. The war was very destructive and bloody but eventually it ended. The Grysk and their allies were beaten back eventually revolving into minor warring factions. While the imperuim and chiss devolved into civil war.

Terra, Romanic Imperuim

The homeworld of the imperuim and also the sight of the massive city of Roma. It was also now ablaze. In the Imperial Palace itself blaster fire echos through the building. In the Throne room Jaguar aquilion raises his blaster and pulls the trigger. A single shot rings out and a women falls to the ground dead.

Jaguar: Is their any other traitors to the imperuim who want the crown?

The silence is almost eerie.

Jaguar points at the Throne and waves his hand. A blue mist fills the air as water molecules move debris off the chair.

His right arms lies limp on the chair arm of the Throne. His left arm Is also on the chair arm but his forearm is pointed towards the ceiling his fingers curled as if holding a cigarette.

Two Cops got out and opened fire on it with a .20 gauge revolving shotgun and a .45 automatic pistol. The Dragon's head turned facing them and breathed fire power on them. BOOM! The cop car exploded, and the two cops were instantly burned to ashes.

A Negev machinegun crew joined them, pouring two hundred rounds of .308 in it. It soaked up bullets like a sponge. Suddenly, a stream of blazing napalm began burning it. "It's GUNCO!" The monster shrieked as the liquid fire burned it. The local weapons store techs had a flamethrower and were helping out.

A GUNCO lady tech began blasting the monster with plasma bolts from a Cyclonus Plasma Machine-pistol. Two more Techs joined in with General Electric Armastorm AR777 lightning rifles, blasting the abomination with bolt after bolt of artificial lightning.

The Demon of Chaos continues to massacre the innocent miners, feeding more and more on the pain he inflicts, but in doing so he also attracts the attention of the Mine guards, who begin to attack him, but without any visible effect.

Titan

The scout probe computed this. Chaos has awakened? Surely this did not bode well. And an evil on Mercury... that complied with the earlier observations of destruction on Mercury and other places...
The probe did not respond. Instead, it left Titan, and Saturn altogether. It put itself on a trajectory to swing by Earth, then slingshotting inward to Mercury before finally reaching Jupiter, where it would leave the system altogether...

Terus Prime

A good-sized dockyard and spaceport had been set up for manufacturing capabilities. Asteroids and unusable debris had been moved in a restructured into factories in orbit over Terus Prime. All of the derelict ships had been cleared from the system and either repurposed or scrapped altogether. In the end, Terus Prime was well on its way to being completely restored.
Elsewhere, scouts had traversed most, if not all of the former Coalition territories, including the old Home Worlds. They were wrecks. Planetary husks, devoid of life, orbited shells of stars or even black holes. Destrune itself was completely gone, providing evidence for the atrocities committed in the War.
Yet, the Coalition would rebuild.
