This is simply a thread to coordinate the canon on the ongoing RP viewtopic.php?f=5&t=543604.

Any nation in TWI that is on the map and has a significant Maurican population, or is relevant enough, can join and add their own side to the story. Obviously, plan everything first here, then when everyone's on the same page make an IC post.

(TW for racism. This RP touches delicate subjects, although the targets are a fictional ethnicity.)

SPOILERS AHEAD! Only read if you wish to intervene in the RP.

Just so we're on the same page: me, Kravato and Tsun have been talking about this; right now, Kravato is showing some behind the scenes of the RHR through forum archives. Yes, the guy with the money is an old rich RHR member; yes, "AngelDark1989" is actually Rishar Nihâman.

This will probably end up on (IC) December 21st, the day when the old RHR guys recruit some new ones from the forum and, capitalizing on Tricklandia celebrating the Winter Solstice, manage to make Carmīna Haunt and the other 3 arrested politicians disappear, along with an important Maurican figure.

On (IC) Dec 22nd, the public is made aware. The already scared and outraged Tricklandian populace sees yet another failure to protect their brethren, and the idea that the current government is unfit for the job really settles in.

On (IC) Dec 23rd, the RHR claims the attack, makes the announcement that they're out of Tricklandia and puts the Maurican person up for ransom.

On (IC) Dec 25th, the Tricklandian government ends up paying the ransom. Something will fail on the way and it'll be their only choice.

A few days later, and some failures later, the four politicians will pop up in a country with no extradition treaty with Tricklandia.

Somewhere around these days, something will happen in Baumes too, obviously still at the hands of the RHR.

With all this said and done, I will now continue speaking only about what will happen in Tricklandia. Long story short: riots. Lots and lots of them. These last few events will kickstart "neighbourhood watch" vigilante squads pop-ups, aiming to reach where Tricklandia's government doesn't, or can't. This will keep snowballing. What has been done by the RHR will be heavily retaliated against, the Tricklandian government will be placed under extreme pressure, possibly resign, and the plan is to really show how much the people of the country are ready to take matters into their own hands when them or their loved ones are threatened.

Socialists may join the riots. Communists may join the riots. Throngists may join the riots. There are plausible reasons for all of them to.

Innocent people may end up in the crossfires. Rioters will probably end up being a little racist too on their own (against Tsunters) because let's face it, there's no "good" or "evil" in realistic stories.

NOTE: All of the above is subject to change. Other people joining the RP will most likely change the story. And even if that doesn't happen, it may still change.

He has contacts with both the RHR and the Tsunter ilitary Junta government of the 1980s, which was sympathetic to the RHR. He is closely related to Guan Erisdany, a notable Tsunter politician on the Executive Council.

-Ennám continues to pay out the New RHrers on TTLC.
-TeamTeamWins vandalizes the vehicle of Tsunter-Maurican and Trials historian Cassandra Gonsalves's car.

Context: The Baumestown Shooting in Kaplo, which saw 7 dead and 10 injured, was to come in the following weeks.

-Ennám tells the New RHRers to watch a livestream on a separate forum. This livestream is the Kaplo Shooter's Livestream. Afterwards, he tells them that it's a shame that the Kaplo shooter died as he had been talking to him before.
-Ennám shares the Kaplo shooter's manifesto to them, bragging that he has it before the public because he helped the shooter make it.
-TeamTeamWins, Fall_In33, TrickTheTitan, and LDR.Exxy, tell Ennám that they are willing to "help out", and an in-person meeting is scheduled.
Context: The Kaplo Shooter's stream had mostly positive support from its viewers, and from the chatlog it can be inferenced that Ennám helped convince Conal Mailles to do the shooting.

-Ennám tells them that the Tricklandian government will arrest officials soon and that he'll pay for their tickets if they fly out with him.

Context: This is the direct planning of the events on the 22nd. Also, Ennám knowing about the arrests of the 19th a day before shows how entrenched his contacts within the Tricklandian government are.

Both sound good.

You could double the second post, make the first part happen in late December just after the ransom thing and the other part in January with riots in Tricklandia threatening the relationship between the two countries.

So I feel i might need to make an apology . With my post I was sort of on a roll just writing and I wasn't thinking about how it would affect your stories. Specifically in reference to the following part about Tsul Erisdany

“Councillor Hansom shall relay this horrific information to Councillor Erisdany, who will tell his brother, who in turn will properly… discipline his son and make sure he never goes near a computer or the family finances again. And of course, the boy [Tsul] will be removed from the line of succession within Clan Erisdany.” Hansom considered this and nodded in assent."

I realise this would definitely impact the chats that Kravato has been writing so i'm not sure if you want me to just remove it from my post, or claim that Tsul doesn't suffer any consequences for his actions or just include it as part of the plot going forward, or just ignore it if he's no longer going to be a relevant character.

Dropped two posts going over the assassination of the whistleblower by the crew of four Corsairos (these guys work of the Western Dawn, which is a Corsairo gang with ties to the Erisdany family). The second's quite long and probably not that relevant to the overall story but it was pretty fun to write.

I'm going to do a tweet by the Tsunter government reacting to Trick's recent newspost about the vigilantes

Got one more character post planned which will follow an official meeting by the Executive Council wherin Councillor Guan Erisdany will be kicked off the council, then i'm going to the some news posts basically covering the events. After that i'll be done with everything i've planned out.

Alright then. Still working on the NIS investigatory report, but it will take a while. It'll also be super long when I post it because it will cover a lot.

Just posted the report, which I put the date for as the 10th of January. As planned, the information from the report would probably go public a week or so later once it was forced to by the Forum, my legislature.

Also, on another note, it appears a past post I made in the thread (Where Burkas first learns that the ASH knew about Conal Mailles's danger) is gone. It probably happened over the course of the forum maintenance to get the "view your post" function working again. A bit of a bummer, because I don't have a copy, but can't really do anything about it now.

January 8th: Another "slice of life" story, from a police officer's point of view this time around.
January 10th: Meanwhile, in New Hipvil... President Nicole has talked with Throngists, with anarchists, with communists, and she has figured out things about all of them.
January 12th: In what's probably the most terrifying event of the riots so far (and probably in general), a NW group in Nyberg retaliates against Damas Cawu, a.k.a. "WesternGuardian", in the calmest and most reasonable way they see fit: by kidnapping Cawu's close friend and colleague from the University of Nyberg, humiliating and torturing him, branding the words "Hi Damas" on his back, and pumping a full bottle of mold cleaner down his throat. He's then sent on his merry way to the nearest hospital. The entire ordeal is filmed, and sent across the Internet, staying as a shock video for years to come. WesternGuardian will also receive an interesting reply to his latest tweet. This all will, of course, horrify even the activists operating in Tricklandia, and maybe placate some of their worst actions.
January 13th: Pedro Morais goes to the now booming RAZ as an insider for The Sentinel, in one of the most biased news articles the online journal has ever seen.
Mid-January, sometime: The Kravatoan report is released. Just when stuff was starting to calm down...

In addition: I've talked to Kravato over TGs; a Kravatoan journalist is going to Rebeira to report about things going on. The Rebeira Autonomous Zone (the RAZ), with its occupants, the "razzies", is described. Rebeira is to Neighborhood Watch riots what Minneapolis was to Black Lives Matter; in here, things have generally gone pretty damn south. So much that, block by block, an actual anarchist commune is spreading, claiming to be self-governing, and keeping police out.

I wanted to work out what's going to happen to Ennam Erisdany.

Even with all his family's wealth and connections he probably can't legally escape the shitstorm he has unleashed. I have three rough ideas

1) He gets, arrested, put on trial, spends his life sentences being moved from the Tsunterlands to Kravato to Tricklandia.
2) He flees abroad, probably to a TWI pariah state, potentially even meeting up with the Tricklandia kidnappers.
3) He tries to flee abroad but ends up dying to some vigilante justice by some neighbourhood watch types or otherwise angry Mauricans.

I also like the idea of him surviving, it adds volume to a lot of the anger behind this situation and shows the power that these people hold.

The one hand I don't want him to die because he's a fun character that i think could be used again.

The other hand I feel like if he dies it could provide a good conclusion/epilogue to the whole rp. However his death should be somehow ironic - like he ends on accidentally dying in an RHR terrorist event or something.

And on the proverbial third hand I feel like I should make a decision quickly because I'm already going to need to backdate this stuff, lol.

Putting it down for everyone to see (especially if IFAF-related stuff happens involving Tricklandia):

Renée Nicole resigned on February 9th, leaked tons of classified documents about the TDP and has taken a secret identity in North Oscotia's mountains.

The TDP splintered, with the Nicole-opposed faction remaining in the party, rebranded into "Transparent Democracy Party" and putting extra focus on keeping their future image as clean as possible (is it real? Who knows haha), and the Nicole-aligned side founding the Young Liberal Union (YLU), a radical right-wing party focused on anti-traditionalism and young people's rights.

The government has stayed and is currently staying with Vice President Van Rijn at the helm and the Chamber members who weren't arrested as the parliament. New elections were already inbound (that's why the government didn't dissolve), and will happen in May as usual.

IC stories and newsposts will follow as soon as I finish writing them up. ^^
