Kravato wrote:Alright, so here's the remaining plan with the forum chatlogs:
What's Happened So Far:
Chatlog 1, November 15th:
-The New RHRers discuss anti-Maurican violence on SunkenIslands.Com (TWI-Wide Forum Provider)
-Ennám Erisdany (Flacc121), son of Captain Tsùl Chae'La Erisdany, contacts the TurnTheLakeCrimson (TTLC) forum and begins to pay them for their anti-Maurican deeds
Context: Captain Tsùl Chae'La Erisdany is the Captain of the Erisdany Clan. He is wealthy and well-connected. He has contacts with both the RHR and the Tsunter ilitary Junta government of the 1980s, which was sympathetic to the RHR. He is closely related to Guan Erisdany, a notable Tsunter politician on the Executive Council.
Chatlog 2, November 25th
-Ennám continues to pay out the New RHrers on TTLC.
-TeamTeamWins vandalizes the vehicle of Tsunter-Maurican and Trials historian Cassandra Gonsalves's car.
-Ennám advises a user (Fall_In33) to coerce a Maurican politican into not running for election in his local district.
-Rishar Nihâman (AngelDark1989) discloses that he saw visions of Colonel Shrike, and that he's busy working on something big.
Context: Rishar Nihâman is the Rebeira shooter, who killed 4 and injured 13 on November 5th at a pre-Tertiary Institute. In his manifesto he describes his vision of Shrike.
Chatlog 3, November 29th
-The New RHRers realize from the manifesto that the Rebeira Shooter was AngelDark1989, and are proud.
-Ennám discloses that he has a network of like-minded forums across the web and tries to convince the New RHRers that they should go as far as Nihâman did. He also discloses that more is coming in the following weeks, and that he'll need all the help he can get.
Context: The Baumestown Shooting in Kaplo, which saw 7 dead and 10 injured, was to come in the following weeks.
What's Coming:
Chatlog 4, December 7th
-Ennám tells the New RHRers to watch a livestream on a separate forum. This livestream is the Kaplo Shooter's Livestream. Afterwards, he tells them that it's a shame that the Kaplo shooter died as he had been talking to him before.
-Ennám shares the Kaplo shooter's manifesto to them, bragging that he has it before the public because he helped the shooter make it.
-TeamTeamWins, Fall_In33, TrickTheTitan, and LDR.Exxy, tell Ennám that they are willing to "help out", and an in-person meeting is scheduled.
Context: The Kaplo Shooter's stream had mostly positive support from its viewers, and from the chatlog it can be inferenced that Ennám helped convince Conal Mailles to do the shooting.
Chatlog 5, December 18th
-The New RHRers rant about Abāham
-Ennám tells them that the Tricklandian government will arrest officials soon and that he'll pay for their tickets if they fly out with him.
-He tells them that his contacts will cover it up, and the plan for the 22nd.
-One steps out, but the rest follow through.
Context: This is the direct planning of the events on the 22nd. Also, Ennám knowing about the arrests of the 19th a day before shows how entrenched his contacts within the Tricklandian government are.
This is the last of the chatlogs.

Absolutely perfect.
FYI, the disappearance of the four politicians should happen on the 21st; that's because in Tricklandia the Winter Solstice is celebrated, which is pretty much a secular version of Christmas. That will make things way easier (and more plausible)
Also, apologies for not being active in the RP lately; I swear I'll add onto the thread as soon as possible.

Had a couple of ideas for posts
1) something happens to the whistle-blower (either attacked or killed) - I have a pretty good idea of
what this post will look like
2)Tsunter government officials meet and discuss the situation- especially the Erisdany involvement and decise on next steps. This one is pretty vague in my head.
Let me know if there is anything else you would like to see from the Tsunter side of things.

Sorry for the tag. When will the events you described happen IC? Just to know when to set some stuff. (I'm referring to the arrests, if they happen publicly of course, the vigil in Domnizoa and the whistleblower's death.)

The Whistleblower going missing happened on the 25th i'm thinking. That's my next post i want to write.
As for the vigil I was thinking the 31st or the 1st idk.

(If the vigil happens on the 1st, feel free to mention the Tricklandian riots.)
“Councillor Hansom shall relay this horrific information to Councillor Erisdany, who will tell his brother, who in turn will properly… discipline his son and make sure he never goes near a computer or the family finances again. And of course, the boy [Tsul] will be removed from the line of succession within Clan Erisdany.” Hansom considered this and nodded in assent."

Even with all his family's wealth and connections he probably can't legally escape the shitstorm he has unleashed. I have three rough ideas
1) He gets, arrested, put on trial, spends his life sentences being moved from the Tsunterlands to Kravato to Tricklandia.
2) He flees abroad, probably to a TWI pariah state, potentially even meeting up with the Tricklandia kidnappers.
3) He tries to flee abroad but ends up dying to some vigilante justice by some neighbourhood watch types or otherwise angry Mauricans.

Option 1 looks the best in my opinion. Gives large space to possible future plot points both one way or the other, as in, corruption giving him leeway or hate mobs with suffering coming his way.
Option 2 is the grimdark-iest of the three, and would be nice if we want to drive this RP towards Kravato's "in real life, bad guys can win" narrative.
Option 3 would be an absolute justice boner for the worst of the Neighborhood Watch, but I feel it'd lack originality. I'd be OK with the Cawu situation being the most shocking that comes out of this whole riot situation, or even a hit squad flying to Reann and taking out those politicians. (At least for now.) I feel like Ennam should stay alive in one way or another. Tricklandia's future governments could use his whereabouts as a centerpiece in propaganda strategy or promises, while the seediest alt-rightists could still talk about him and/or to him.
