Overall: The Reannese Hawks are an unlikely contender. With American football being practicially unheard of in the country, the first iteration of the Reannese Hawks was an attempt in the early 2000s by sports associations and minor sponsors to promote the grassroots Reannese American Football movement into a regional phenomenom. The team would only gain national recognition in 2009 as a national sports team of Reann by the Ministry of Culture and Sports.

Both American and European football are incredibly popular in Aeteros, being played in schools and colleges as well as several amateur leagues. American football is a far newer import to the country with no pro league coalescing quite yet but some of the amateur leagues are beginning to take on more professional characteristics. As such the national team had its pick of prime athletes ready to compete and make a name for their specific league.

There was an error with Week 8 and 9, my apologies. Also, there are several CTE'd nations in the current tournament. What I've decided is that if a CTE'd nation's team is going to make it to finals, I'll remove the team to prevent a non-existing nation from winning the cup. For now, they'll exist because they did before, and it would be unfair to remove them for the teams that have already played them or haven't got to yet.
