In a Nightime Session of Parliment following the Independance of Medonia And the Ynites they would Declare a State of Emergancy. Immediatly the People's Will would gain absolute control, then they began to read people to be arrested as Millitary Units Entered the Parliment. Opposition was arrested and sent to the Highest Security Prisons. Then the next day, on all channels they began broadcasting..

A Monotone, powerful voice begins speaking "..There has been a plot to destroy our society through Internal Means. Yesterday the two traiterous Republics had declared Independance from our gloriuos nation. Followng this, the traitourous foreign agents attack our Party. We were forced to declare a State of Emergency! FROM NOW ON ALL CITIZENS MU.."

Suddenly the Broadcast is Interupted, a logo of the Republic is Shown "..Don't listen! They have couped the government! These fascist wish to reinstate the Dictatorship that we fought so hard to destroy! We still have control in the South! If we work together we still have a chance to stop them before they can harm us again! To freedom, to h.."

Again its interupted, however this time a communist symbol appears, "..Comrades! We have begun the Revolution in the North, these decadent Capitalists have revlead their weakness and now we have taken the chance for a better future. Do not move south to maintain the Capitalists, Move North and begin the Revolution. Remember Drilia.."

Finnaly the Symbol for the People's Will Returns. "In the Course of Order, all citizens are to Stay in their homes, fight for the cause, or work in the factories. Strength through Unity, Strength through Power, STRENGTH THROUGH HIDRANDIA!"

Driland was a catastrophe, plain and simple.

The loss of a majority of forces dedicated to the region excluding command staff would be bad enough, but the nuclear devastation had left the area worthless to future interests, and unlikely to create a resistance movement in the meanwhile.

Or, at least, that was how it had seemed at the time.

But first impressions gave falsehood, and with the renewed presence of Driland-based communists in the North of Hidrania, Neo-Korea was once again willing to turn its eyes to the once-puppet movement, and begin certain maneuvers to join the fray once the shooting started.

This would, of course, start with an announcement.

Communication on the Hidranian Situation

Noting the recently renewed conflict in the Hidranian Region, it has become a fundamental obligation of Neo-Korea to note the inherent and fundamental need it has to support the Freedom Fighters of the Hidranian Commune, descendent of the brave fighters of Driland, in means both political and physical.

Fundamentally, there can be no reconciliation between those who allowed for the destruction of innocent lives to establish their cruel reign over the populace, as those who supported the Republic once did, or those who would support the The Will may be doing now.

As such, Neo-Korea declares its intent to foster, guide, and support the Hidranian Commune in all political endeavors relating to the reunification of the Northern Area of Hidrania, in addition to supporting it in all matters related to the destruction of The Will.

The FSSF utilizes C-17s and Landing Ships to send in 4,000 irregulars, an odd handful of Stridsfordon 9040/56 IFVs, 100 FV214 Conqueror ATDU SEPV5 TUSK upgraded Heavy Tanks, and most notably some 10 M1A2 Abrams SEPV3 TUSK Main Battle Tanks to aid the communists in the global struggle for communism and capitalism. Armor and troops march off Landing Ship, Tank (LSTs) and begin their march southward to the river, where they would stand guard. The soldiers were an odd sight indeed, donning a mix of Jeans, T-shirts, military combat uniform, and a mix of WW2 steel pot helmets, and modern kevlar ones. The most notable part was the random assortment of firearms they carried, you had soldiers carrying FN-FALs, a Mosin M1891/30 here and there, and then an occasional H&K G11 prototype. They were a ragtag band of soldiers, and you couldn't blame them. Even each and every one of their armored vehicles seemed unique. With plywood boards bolted on here and there, with a ERA brick showing through, and odd fake foliage all over them.

To say that Gammond was surprised was an understatement. Demoted- in court- not due to incompetence but due to her personal life and deeds! How idiotic! What do these upper class posh fuckers even think of themselves? The fleet as a whole was meanwhile busy with activity, participating in a joint exercise with Russia and China- they were simulating a large scale nuclear attack on Murmansk- and the Lakan fleet was “playing” the Americans. Comically enough, the duel between their cruiser- the HMS Fearless and the Russian Kirov-class resulted in both ships eventually running out of guided missile ordnance- and with both having orders to sink the other one no matter the cost. The captains of both ships, seeking to please their superiors with their bravery have closed distance and engaged in gun action- initially starting with their deck guns and then eventually boiling down to CIWS armaments. Both ships suffering from extremely heavy and cascading notional fires, determined to notionally make a worthy sacrifices engaged in a not so notional ramming action, wounding two Russian and four Lakan sailors and sending both ships for the remainder of the exercise to Murmansk for repairs. Indeed the Navy sometimes may be stupidity personified…

Hidrandia was never of much consideration to the Galapagos public. It was a second rate tourist destination that first time adventurers would sometimes visit to get a feel for foreign cultures before delving into more exotic destinations. Well that was before Driliand had been turned into an irradiated rock in the ocean and the nation descended into political turmoil that didn’t seem to ever heel until it reached a breaking point in which it was to late to turn back. You’d think the people of Hidrandia would work together post-Driliand but that was sadly not to be the case and now families watched from their homes as a country they had once considered a nice destination to visit was drenched in a sea of even more blood.

That being said it wasn’t only families that were watching the carnage unfold as senators watched the scene too. Their votes were entrenched in the hands of the militarist lobby and would take a decent sum to get them to change their minds. They’d been told by their corporate overlords to keep a close eye on Hidrandia as it collapsed after all the lobbyists hadn’t made bank over sitting and letting things be. They weren’t important yet and their only goal right now was to sit and wait for new orders to arrive. It was the president Wilson who was doing the heavy lifting getting everything into place. Troops, tanks, ships, and planes weren’t easy to organize and it was a headache having to deal with the logistics and the avalanche of paperwork Wilson had to go through until finally he had everything ready for when his overlords in the militarist lobby gave the green light. Much like the senators he too was deep in the pockets of the militarists and had turned into a sock puppet for them. This time he too had something to gain from a winning war as well. His political career was almost done and with elections coming in on the start of June he knew he was on limited time. After all a last war which would see Galapagos influence expanded would make him famous and talked about in the history books for years to come, granted he would be known as an imperialist but he didn’t care. As long as he was remembered he would be happy.

In his brief address to the viewers he gave a short overview of Hirandia before going on about the different factions and states involved. He then talked about Florida and more specifically their president who was then mocked live on camera for behaving like a 5 year old who had just had his favorite foam block taken and was now throwing a temper tantrum because of it. The reporter explained, failing to hold back a mocking giggle, “They stated that they would and I quote “To all ye french bastards out 'ere, we measure our wmds in how much times they can flatten fucking france over, so you better be prepared” yes this truly is the world we sadly live in.” The reporter said in a monotone voice. The senators themselves couldn’t suppress a laugh as the reporter continued to speak about the outrageous behavior of a head of state before he sat down and, after taking a sip of his coffee, continued to give a rundown on what has happened so far.

Missiles would be pointed discreetly at Florida just in case however right now the Galapagos sat waiting for the correct moment to strike.

IT ARRIVES

HMHS MATRON HAZLETON shortly after stopping her engines, awaits the tugboats assistance as she is moved into the port

As well equipped as HMHS Matron Halzeton was for her primary purpose- as ugly she looked and sounded. Always leaving behind a towering stream of thick black smoke coming from her 2 operational funnels (one was removed to make way for a helipad and the other one was a ventilation shaft), her once pristine white hull was darkened by brown rust stains and, from time to time, at night one could see the green lighting on her side flicker. The Navy didn’t view the looks of their hospital ships as something worth “dying” for, so they cut costs whenever they could. For all intents and purposes, the ship was in pristine condition performance-wise, but boy oh boy did she look like a heap of junk to a bystander… Slowly making her way into the harbor of one of the Medonian ports, she required the assistance of several Navy oceangoing tugs sent alongside her to push her in. Matron Hazleton was an extremely old ship, built to be a speedy ocean liner not even stopping at most of it’s destinations- which was precisely what she was doing before being bought off by the Navy and turned into a hospital ship. Due to cost cuts, modern maneuvering thrusters were cancelled. The whole ordeal- from the vessel entering the water area of the port to it docking would take several hours- the gigantic ocean liner was an extremely tight fit. The locals may have been rather disappointed- while being promised a the latest in modern healthcare, what they’d see was a large rustbucket whose docking procedure might even obscure the usual operations of the ports- after all docking large ships in medium-sized ports usually forces all maritime traffic to stop for some time.

After eventually being moved into position, work would begin on the allocated grounds. Many days before the ship’s arrival, Navy civil engineers would already be in position, working with the port authority and local government, drawing out plans for the eventual installation of ashore facilities, finding contractors for construction work and construction materials acquisition… Building a hospital in such a small time where before there was nothing takes a lot of preparation-but all of their work.

Mere days after the ship’s docking, it would begin to receive patients and provide other forms of humanitarian assistance, such as handing out warm food, blankets and other stuff. The construction project was planned in a way for it to be able for hospital wings to begin operations as the construction was being completed. In essence, a substantial part of the port would be transformed into a large hospital, including emergency rooms, ICU’s and therapy facilities. Most facilities for hospital treatment, such as wards, surgery, etc. were located aboard the ship- moving them around was a long and tedious process. The ship would also offload it’s large amount of hospital-related vehicles, including three MEDEVAC choppers, which would already be used to airlift critical patients, and a vast amount of ambulances and transporting vehicles of differing sizes and capabilities, including two brand new reanimobiles. These two yellow trucks were the pride and glory of the ship’s crew- fitted out to the latest word of emergency medicine, these two could support life in nearly any patient for as long as there was a small spark of life still left in them.

Furthermore, the locals could already notice some security being stationed throughout the hospital. While it was generally guarded by a simple chain fence, a trespasser would very soon find themselves in the hands of a friendly-looking MP, who’d initially motion them to one of the wards. This being a military hospital, there was generally speaking an atmosphere of orderliness and hierarchy in the air- nurses, orderlies and doctors would usually salute and address each other according to their ranks- rank insignia was clearly visible on most of their uniforms, some of the sailors, soldiers and marines (medical personnel of course) wore their medals on their chest, and every morning started out with the flag being raised (although for obvious reasons no bugle was sounded). The patients meanwhile were generally treated with respect and care as they’d be in any good hospital. Generally speaking, Lakan and allied personnel would often wonder into the city- some to meet and chat with the locals, some to purchase supplies for their kitchen (nobody liked the hospital food- it had to taste “poorly” so that people with allergies and gastroenterological conditions could eat it). In general the locals might find them a bit cautious but friendly in general.

Meanwhile the second ship- HMHS Surgeon Novikov, the largest ship in the Navy period would depart and set sail for Hidrandia. If she was of any other purpose, she could be called monstrous. Nearly half a kilometer in length, her class was originally designed to provide theatre-wide medical services for large-scale colonial operations. While she was less specialized on docked operations than Matron Hazleton, by sheer size she was considered simply better than her. Why was she being sent there? The answer was as simple as it was stupid- Matron Hazleton was simply closer to the Medonian ports- and with the Navy not really concerning themselves with the possibility of a collision, the choice was obvious.

The Grand Red Army planning Operation inside of Hidrania

Even with the chaos, confusion and unknown situation in the region of Hidrania, the Grand Red Army sends the promised advisors, engineers and specialist in the northern region of Hidrania controlled by "The Commune", however their situation still has to be explained to them by the highest ranking advisor named, codenamed "Valentine".

Military Advisor 2,3,4,5 and all 9 Special Military Engineers: "Good day"/"Hello"/ect.

Military Advisor 1 - "Valentine": "Today we have the main job given to us by the Grand Red Army and the faction we are fighting for, known as 'The Commune', is to assist in the Communist revolution attempt in the region of 'Hidrania'... " The advisor would poorly say the name, barely pronouncing it in as understandable English.

Military Advisor 1 - "Valentine": "...by providing advice, tactics, and strategics with the Commune Ministry of War. We also have brought around 2,500 infantry men and loads of equipment to provide to both the troops and Communist forces. In order to assist the Communist forces would we need to cross either the Pelain or Constl rivers in order to which the faction known as the "The Will", a very militaristic faction that seems to control most of the army."

Military Advisor 1 - "Valentine": "Now, I will let the second advisor in command, Ste-, I mean- 'Flamingo'."

Military Advisor 2 - "Flamingo": "Thank you "Valentine" now, I believe that we should attempt at crossing the Constl with both air support and naval support bombarding the shore and militaristic forces in the region. We should also attempt at seizing a port or naval supply hub in order to secure logistical supply in the region and to attempt to slightly cripple 'The Will's naval fleet."

Military Advisor 2 - "Flamingo": "We shall also start to provide more tactics, training exercises and equipment to the Communist forces in order to ensure that the Communist forces have the highest advantage against both the capitalists and militaristic forces. Next we should start to set up the artillery and support equipment we have brought along with us and start to bring the rifles and equipment we brought with us to the Communist forces in order to ensure they also have the best equipment available."

Military Advisor 2 - "Flamingo" Pulls out a file of papers stating what he just said, he'd scan over it and make sure he stated everything needed "Well- it seems that me and "Valentine" have stated everything...now, everyone is officially dismissed, if you have any questions come back to "Valentine" or I and ask any questions if needed."

After the meeting the advisors and engineers would start to given to their assign jobs and roles such as training and watching over The Commune forces' training, as well as unpacking the equipment brought with them, handing some of the equipment to the certified recruits

"Say... why here though?" asked Stanislav, now continuing his original conversation, talking through a mouthful of grilled fish.

The Office of the Revolutionary Defense

The Government was already forming into a Massive Entity. Already there would need to be multiple signatures from many departments to approve of forms. Already the lines would begin forming outside of various areas. Terihil was the New Capital of the Commune it was also the Capital of the Dictatorship.

Anyways, after a week a form from Florida had arrived to the head of The Office of the Revolutionary Defense. The man was called Joe. Such a boring name for such a brutal person, just a couple minutes ago he ordered the execution of 13 "Enemies of the State.." they were caught deserting.

Anyways, the Floridians were asking to build a Watchtower he thiugh about it for a couple seconds, signed the paper and off it went to the Next department.

Advisers and Engineers would be treated like special guests, they would led to "Premium" tents, they were the exact same as normal tents except they were slightly bigger, and the beds were alledly more comfy. Anyways with the foreign aid the troops would become more competent than older units.

Marching, at the lead was a person wearing a fancy uniform. Behind him there were 100 Prisoners. They were moving towards the port at a quick pace there was machinery at the port. Along with blueprints, they were building a navy. They wanted to Eliminate the Republic Advantage in the Sea. At their destination the Prisoners would be fprced into Confined Cells, in the Morning they would begin Constructing the First Ships..

Jelly Carter would land into an Old City. So old that nobody really knowns who lived there at first. However, now it was tranformed into the seat of power for the Wounded Republic. A Diplomat would greet Jelly Carter as he landed and would quickly lead him into a car, that car would then drive to the Provisional "Government Street" where most of the Departments has escaped to.

The Diplomat would give Jelly Carter his keys to his hotel room (Room 213) then lead him to a Makeshift office, there we would meet the old P.M. of Hidrandia Frank Georgios. He was Average height, male, and looked completely normal. He opened with this "Greetings. Glad you could make it.."

The Medonians were Obviously distraught at the Sight of a Massive Ship barely fiting into the Tiny Port. But that didn't matter, the doctors at that city had several people who were sevrely wounded or needed care and would ask for them to be transfered to the seemingly more advanced ship. The Local authorities would also begin construction work to expand the Port to be able to better hold the "massive" hospital boat.

"AHHHH FUCK SHITTT IM TAKING FIRE FUCK SHITT" Screamed an irregular with a heavy texan drawl. Zhenya spotted the gunfire he fired. The jungle went silent again.

“Move her in, port starboard tug, you can let her free for now… Stern tug, pull her in some more… Hold it, hold it there, don’t overdo it! Very good, carry on…”- even for a port theoretically able to fit in the largest of the tankers ever built,- that being ULCC’s had a hard time docking such a gigantic vessel. Because, for a hospital ship, the docking procedures were further hampered by the need to anchor her at a specific distance from the shore so that her offloadable bridges could be utilized. Sitting extremely deep in the water, she couldn’t be “conventionally” moored to this port due to fear of her running aground, so a small detachment of Royal Army Engineer Corp’ finest had to be flown into the city to build a pontoon bridge on which to transfer the patients from the shore and onto the ship.

Her sheer size would only become apparent when she’d finally empty her balance water tanks and slowly but surely rise from the water. Standing as tall as a 9-story building and nearly half a kilometer long, the sheer docking process took not hours but days- and that with the whole thing being sped up “to a dangerous degree”. If not for two gigantic red crosses on her sides, she might’ve seemed ominous or even scary, with the ship’s cristal-clean white livery. She towered over every other ship (there probably ain’t much ULCC tankers docked there eh) in the port and over the shore she was anchored off, as if to signify her superiority over any other vessel of the class. All of her crew were (mostly) in a much better sense than the Matron Hazleton’s, hand-picked to be the best of the best. Unfortunately for the locals (and patients staying in non-soundproof wards), this meant that every day at 6:00 the ship woke up to a hallowing howl of her main horn blaring out loud for exactly 1 minute 15 seconds while the flag was being raised. The sheer loudness of it could make the windows in the ashore hospital shake- but as stupid as this rule was, the captain couldn’t even dare to go against the Admiralty Traditions. They were stupid but they were the rules.


Meanwhile, helicopters on the ship (there being 9 of them, making her legally a helicopter carrier) would begin to ferry cargo and personnel to the hospital being built ashore in much the same manner as previously done- ableit in a far greater scale. This hospital was supposed to serve as the main host of all Lakan medical activity in this sector- and thus had to be equipped with as many facilities and personnel as it may feasibly require in the future. Soon enough the locals would find a very large portion of the port walled off with large work posters plastered on the walls. The new hospital seeked custodians and construction workers, electrical technicians, etc.- the Lakans usually recruited “low-value labor” from the locals, and this case was no exception.

In general, the attitude displayed by her doctors would be different from those aboard the Hazleton. Here they were far more proud, even bordering on arrogance, taking next to no time to actually learn about the local culture and people and frequently using translators. While their bedside manner may be more comfortable, generally speaking they’d be far less likely to initiate a conversation with anyone outside of the hospital or even wander outside of the premises. MP’s would be more professional here too-professionalism in this case meaning being far more effective at recognizing intruders and swiftly escorting them outside of the hospital. However, as long as the locals were willing to bear with this approach, they’d find themselves at the receiving end of an extremely well equipped medical center, ready to treat nearly any disease known to men- and then some more!

The Harry Islands Government has officially shown support for The Will, the Harry Islands Government would provide Loans of up to $20 billion for The Will to develop.
Also, Harryan representatives would try to negotiate with Medonia to join The Will, Harry Islands would also later make a plea for allies to support The Will and sanction the Hydrandian Commune.

The National Intelligence Agency (NIA) would corrupt Hidrandia's communist military to leak intelligence and army information. In addition, a good part of the loans for the development of The Will would be diverted to propaganda Pro-Will, Pro-Military, and against the communists, also exalting the nationalism of The Will, the propaganda would have central objective of building the image of governmental efficiency, which would boost the popularity of the leaders, gaining the trust of the people, and also, thus exalting the feeling of belonging to a nation, with national colors, new symbols, and seeking to exalt the leaders as heroes.

[The Military State of the Galapagos]

The final paperwork was finished and now, finally troop deployments could begin. There was a general nervousness about the whole situation as Hirandia was currently in an extremely unstable ceasefire that could be broken at any time. Not to mention that already many foreigners had stationed troops in the area despite very minor conflict breaking out and there really being no reason for troops besides of course escalating the situation. Then again the stationing of troops may not have been some plan to destabilize the region further but instead a hotheaded decision made by morons who can barely wipe their own asses let alone lead a country. However that was to be expected after all and it was what the modern day Galapagos had done in its infancy. They were smarter now but then again they couldn’t expect the same from their new adversaries. It was the misguided belief that things could cool down peacefully that had led to such a delayed response by the Galapagos however seeing things only further escalate it appeared that the window of safe travel was closing and as such the Galapagos had to act quickly.

It wouldn’t be until the Galapagos military was only a day out that the republic would receive a letter stating that the Galapagos troops were on their way and to prepare for the disembarking of them. This message was intentionally late of course as it gave a very short time the message to be leaked and an even shorter time period for hostiles to respond those being Will forces, Commune forces, or a different combatant’s army made little difference. It was assumed that the republic forces morale would be low and that is why they would take them off the Medonia front, Medonia being the Galapagos’s first target of which they predicted would capitulate in a week at most.

While the majority would go to the Medonian border a portion would stay behind this group would be made up of military advisers whose job it was to train what was assumed to be demoralized. The troops would of course be trained in a ‘joint KTO humanitarian base’ of which the location was to be decided after the Galapagos troops made landfall. The reason of this being that the base would technically be Galapagos territory and if attacked an article 1 response could be triggered which, while the Galapagos had no intentions of doing that, just the threat alone should’ve been enough to suffice. This was all reliant on the republic agreeing however and that was why along with the notification of troops coming the republic was sent a separate telegram requesting a land grant and permission to train troops.

Finally back at home the war was tolerated albeit not welcomed. The Galapagos fought for its own interests as well as the interests of the KTO from time to time. The promise of abundant resources was enough to quell the more vocal opposition for now however the conservatives and progressives both knew that Conservative dominance in politics relied heavily on the success of this war. If they won Wilson Vaugen could retire knowing his next candidate would have a sufficient advantage. If he lost the war however not only would the Conservatives lose their grand majority but they may even lose the majority in general. It was why Progressives fought to discredit the war the moment troops left Galapagos territorial waters. Videos of Driliand where of major concern to the population as the threat of having their own countrymen be nuked was a sad thought many didn’t want to think about. However this thought was already in the minds of the public and a major defeat wouldn’t be tolerated.

Japuilean Black Moon's decision-making body, the Volunteer Committee, has made a request to all parties to build humanitarian camps on their lands so that civilians on each side can hide, get food or drink. They emphasize that everyone should have a choice whether they want to take part in the war, or whether they want to wait out the war in relatively safe circumstances, and treat the humanitarian camps and surrounding lands as neutral lands that do not belong to anyone, to save lives.

To emphasize its pure intentions, the organization sent each side a set of pages that would roughly outline what would be brought in, how many people would be brought in, and how the camps might be expanded.

Days later, a small handful of infiltrators will be captured by the FSSF 921st Bandenbekämpfung Security Warfare detachment. There is no action that comes free.
